Shares some info about the servers, release, and more hints at Classic+ in the future. Classic purist, SalvDali, is not a fan of the changes so much so that he called the Senior Game producer a 'buffoon' for announcing a 'no changes fresh' despite the team mentioning QoL featured Servers at Warcraft Direct.

Who killed Mists of Pandaria Classic? TBC Anniversary..Or Blizzard? more and more guilds are disbanding, and most of the cutting edge guilds have left. tbc anniversary has certainly taken players away, but there's a bigger, deeper problem players are pointing to. in their recent "state of azeroth" show, blizzard refused to give any information, any news about what will happen to MoP players. we didn't get WoD classic, or an announcement that this would be the last "classic" game. we got something worse. radio silence. until blizzard confirms what is going to happen after mop, the player exodus is going to continue.

One private server that has weathered the storm is Ascension WoW. Not only has it stayed online, but it has also been bold enough to launch its own Classic Plus server, Conquest of Azeroth, with it's Beta set to launch next month. Current speculation is that Ascension WoW data centres are hosted in Russia or other Eastern European countries which make it difficult for Blizzard to take down.
