The problem with this, and I think the problem a lot of people have with Forever, is that Blizzard is acknowledging these things suck, but they aren't carrying over these learnings into retail. I think a lot of people would just love to actually want to play retail and have it not suck.

@ClaytonStone If the sentence was "we will NEVER add the token to the game" I would be happy. We all know where the "no plans" usually means. It only takes a pinch of corpo greed as soon as the game gains more and more popularity and players.

@ClaytonStone The CEO of @OldSchoolRS came out and said it was NEVER going to happen in their version of the game (tokens) Why can't Blizzard promise the same thing? Why do they always leave the option on the table? Nobody wants it. We play old games for a reason

@ClaytonStone "No plans" is not a clear "we're not going to do it". They've pulled this kind of deflection before with Classic and added the fucking token later. I love what Blizz is doing with Forever but as far as the tokens go I neither trust nor believe them.
