We affirm that the scriptures, ancient and modern, clearly teach the origin of and need for a church directed by and with the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ. Today, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord’s restored Church, established to teach the fulness of His doctrine and to officiate with His priesthood authority to perform the ordinances necessary to enter the kingdom of God.

To all these Protestants who claim you are former Catholics, and you say that the Catholic Church taught you not to read the Bible or that you should stay away from the Bible, and that you can't understand it, only the Church can, quit creating calumny and falsehoods. I have literally walked into Mass and they have Bibles out in stands. You can literally contact your diocese and they'll mail you a Bible, as well as the Catechism. I know because I've done it. Vatican II, even the Catechism of the Catholic Church, requires Christians to read the Bible, so just stop with the calumny. There are a lot of things I disagree with in the Catholic Church, but this is not one of them. So stop lying. The Catholic Church teaches to read the Bible. They have study Bibles. WOMEN PASTORS??? Recently, Rick Warren’s church (Saddleback Church) was kicked out of the Southern Baptist Convention. Why? Well, Rick Warren decided to go against the Bible — as well as SBC’s Baptist Faith and Mission, 2000 — and brought on female pastors at his church. So, the question that should be asked then is: ”Is it acceptable, according to what the Bible teaches, for women to be pastors/elders in the church?” 🤔🤔🤔 It’s the debate between Complmentarians and Egalitarians. It is not right or permissible to blur the lines between Men and Women, just because we want to or because the society is pushing us to. We always need to go back to the Bible and it’s clear teaching. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

The hubris on full display 🙄 Carrie Prejean Boller says her firing from the Religious board was the final pillar to fall to launch the attack on Iran. Tucker Carlson agrees. She also says that the church doesn't teach that the land was given by God to his people. The Catholic church may not teach that but the Bible does. It's referenced numerous times. I believe this is the spiritual battle we are in right now. Gods word the Bible vs "the church".

Before His Passion, our Lord prayed to the Father "that they may all be one" (John 17:21), yet division continues to obscure the witness of the Gospel. Christ entrusted the safeguarding and authentic interpretation of the deposit of faith to the Church's Magisterium, exercised in communion with the Successor of St. Peter and the bishops united with him. To be Catholic is to remain in full communion with the Church Christ founded, trusting the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who preserves His Church in the truth through every age. For over a thousand years Christians used a 73 book Bible drawn from the Septuagint the very Scriptures quoted by Jesus and the apostles. Then in 1534 Martin Luther moved seven Old Testament books out because they contradicted his theology especially faith alone. He called them useful but not Scripture and even questioned parts of Daniel and Esther. The Church did not scramble to add anything back. At Trent it simply reaffirmed what Christians had already been reading since the beginning. Catholics did not change the Bible during the Reformation. The Reformation changed the Bible.

For over a thousand years Christians used a 73 book Bible drawn from the Septuagint the very Scriptures quoted by Jesus and the apostles. Then in 1534 Martin Luther moved seven Old Testament books out because they contradicted his theology especially faith alone. He called them useful but not Scripture and even questioned parts of Daniel and Esther. The Church did not scramble to add anything back. At Trent it simply reaffirmed what Christians had already been reading since the beginning. Catholics did not change the Bible during the Reformation. The Reformation changed the Bible.
