This Exhibition includes a series of statues, including an equestrian statue of Founding Father Caesar Rodney, 12 Soldiers of the Revolution, and a set of reliefs honoring the Prison Ship Martyrs — The nearly 12,000 Americans who lost their lives aboard British ships in conditions of unimaginable deprivation, squalor, and disease. More Americans died on these prison ships than in all of the War’s battles combined — Many of whom willingly endured suffering and death rather than renounce the Patriot cause. The Exhibition is anchored by a central bronze statue, “Spirit of Liberty,” which is crowned in a wreath of victory, and powerfully wielding the Declaration of Independence and a sword pointed to the sky. 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗽 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 - 𝟬𝟵:𝟱𝟰 𝗣𝗠 𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝟬𝟳.𝟬𝟯.𝟮𝟲 I am thrilled to announce the opening of SPIRIT OF ’76 at FREEDOM PLAZA, a new Exhibition in Washington, D.C., honoring the Heroes and Martyrs of the American Revolution. This Exhibition includes a series of statues, including an equestrian statue of Founding Father Caesar Rodney, 12 Soldiers of the Revolution, and a set of reliefs honoring the Prison Ship Martyrs — The nearly 12,000 Americans who lost their lives aboard British ships in conditions of unimaginable deprivation, squalor, and disease. More Americans died on these prison ships than in all of the War’s battles combined — Many of whom willingly endured suffering and death rather than renounce the Patriot cause. The Exhibition is anchored by a central bronze statue, “Spirit of Liberty,” which is crowned in a wreath of victory, and powerfully wielding the Declaration of Independence and a sword pointed to the sky. Everyone should see this new Exhibition! Yesterday was one of the hardest days of my life. But nothing compared to what the Israelis here experienced on October 7th 2023. Rita took us around her Kibbutz in Niroz, just 2km from Gaza. 540 Hamas terrorists and some mates stormed into this peaceful Kibbutz killing 1 in 4 including little children and elderly women. It was barbaric, cruel and twisted. Pure evil. People burned alive while clinging to each other. Little children murdered. Blood stains still on walls. Yet hope still prevails. Of the 400 in this Kibbutz 112 were killed or taken hostage. Why? Because they are Jewish. That’s it. Why do Hamas hate Jews? Because the Quran tells them to be a good Muslim they must eradicate the Jew. Hamas also hate the disobedient Muslim and have no issue killing and torturing their own people. They are sick and evil. They have over 1000km of concrete tunnels. They stockpile weapons under kindergartens, hospitals, and civilian homes putting their own people in harms way. They will not let them escape or seek shelter. They steal provisions meant for them. They break all the laws of engagement and falsely claim victimhood. This Kibbutz suffered unimaginable harm and yet they still hope the Palestinians will have peace once they are freed from Hamas. They are grieving deeply and rightly so. They did not deserve this. No one does. My heart is broken. Too much sorrow for anyone to carry. Please watch these short videos and honor the memories of the fallen.
