A huge rally was held today in the Kech area of Hoshab against the brutal suppression of Baloch people and in support of the ongoing movement of BYC against Baloch Genocide. A large number of women and children took part in the rally, asking for an end to state brutality in Balochistan and showing their firm support for the ongoing movement, which enters its fifth phase. It is part of a series of rallies and gatherings of Baloch people in every town and area of Balochistan to support the ongoing long march against the Baloch Genocide . People throughout Balochistan have come out on the streets in support of the ongoing movement for the safe recovery of the missing persons who are in illegal custody of the security agencies of the state and against the extrajudicial killing of Baloch youth in so-called fake encounters. People are losing their lives due to hunger and illness, and several women and children have died as a result of airstrikes carried out by the state. She said the state has intensified its policies of enforced disappearances and targeted killings; five people have been killed by state backed death squads in the Makran region. All these actions are part of a broader attempt to suppress the Baloch nation and silence those who speak out. Today, in Kisaak area of Kech, personnel of Frontier Corps used violence against women and children who were protesting for the safe recovery of their family members. For the last 7 days, family members of Washdil and others have closed the CPEC from D Baloch in Turbat for all traffic, protesting against the abduction of their family members. Human rights organizations and the international community must look into the grave rights abuses in Balochistan, particularly the abduction and extrajudicial killings of Baloch youth. The violence against women and children is increasing as they are compelled to take to the roads for the safe recovery of their family members. The strong and brave Baloch women are making history. Once again, today, hundreds of women participated in a mass demonstration in the Wadh area of Balochistan. Wadh, for a long, has endured the wrath of terror, including enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, and forced displacement. The ongoing movement against the Baloch genocide has ended the fear among people. The resilient Baloch women have shattered the shackles of fear. Baloch masses from across Balochistan, under the banner of “Breaking Silence: Standing Against Enforced Disappearances,” are resisting state-sponsored crimes against them. In this effort, five peaceful protests have been organized in different regions of Balochistan. As part of this ongoing campaign, a peaceful protest was planned in Panjgur, where the administration and law enforcement agencies attempted to prevent people from participating. State authorities abducted a participant of protest and continue to monitor others involved in the protests. The lives of protesters are in grave danger, as they face the threat of enforced disappearances. After the protest in Panjgur, several protestors were followed and one the protestor Haseeb Baloch, a 22 years old graduate student from ARID university and a resident of Panjgur was enforcedly disappeared by Law enforcement Agencies. Previous protests were held in Karachi, Hub, Turbat, and Khuzdar, where the families of forcibly disappeared individuals registered their cases with the BYC. She exposed the relentless campaign of enforced disappearances where not a single day passes without a Baloch individual being forcibly disappeared by the Pakistani state. She condemned the systematic target killing and body dumping of Baloch individuals as deliberate state policy. She made clear: those who dare to speak, journalists, students, lawyers, and human rights defenders face harassment, arrest, and prosecution under counterterrorism laws. Several BYC leaders, including Dr. Mahrang Baloch, have been detained for nearly a year and silenced for demanding nothing but justice. Free Balochistan Movement Netherlands Branch Announces Protest in Front of the International Court of Justice on the Occasion of International Human Rights Day Amsterdam/Balochisatn; A protest will be held to raise voices against the atrocities committed by the occupying Pakistani and Iranian states against the Baloch people in occupied Balochistan. The purpose of this demonstration is to draw the attention of the international community and human rights advocates to these violations. The protest will begin at 12:30 PM and conclude at 2:00 PM. An appeal will be made to the humanitarian forces of the world to break their silence on the grave human rights violations taking place in Balochistan, to recognize Balochistan as an occupied region, and to help end the cycle of state oppression and violence against the Baloch people. Free Balochistan Movement calls upon all human rights activists and compassionate individuals to participate in this protest demonstration. According to latest ground reports, dead bodies of four Baloch youth were recovered in Badrang, Khaliqabad district Khuzdar area of Zehri. The victims were identified as Khuda Bakhsh, Zahoor Ahmed, and Barkat Khan cousins belonging to the Lehri tribe. In Zehri, the body of a young man, Shahzaib son of Muhammad Aslam was found near the Football Ground area, all the deceased bodes bearing sever torture signs and close rang bullet fire. These are cold blooded murders of the Baloch hostages under Pakistan military's custody. In the Republic of Balochistan, large-scale atrocities and day to day military operations by the occupying Pakistani and Iranian forces are ongoing. Both Baloch and Pashtun are being oppressed and killed indiscriminately for holding peaceful assemblies on their respective lands. Fundamental Human Rights, democratic norms and rule of law are being flouted with impunity by the State authorities. “The days of your occupation are numbered!” – Mass protests erupted in Gwadar in the Balochistan region of Pakistan, demanding an end to the occupation by Pakistan. The protest was in response to human rights violations and extreme deployment of security forces in the southwestern Pakistani province. The Baloch Yakjehti Committee, which organized the protest, reported a massive police crackdown in response to the event. Over 60 people were arrested. “Human rights violations in Balochistan are at their peak. State institutions are brutally suppressing peaceful voices,” the statement added. Videos on social media and the BYC also reported the use of Pakistani armed forces firearms and live rounds to quell the protest. At least three people have been killed, and many others were injured.

A tragic story of the extrajudicial killing of two Baloch teenagers in Kalat, as narrated by their mother. Abbas (20 years old) and Ismail (17 years old) were brothers who were brutally killed by State security personnel just before dawn on September 8. According to their mother, "The armed forces first surrounded our home and started heavy firing. Then, they raided the house and forcibly took my sons, Abbas and Ismail, just a few yards away and killed them in cold blood. I begged the forces to arrest them instead and, if they had committed any crime, to punish them according to the law. My son Ismail was ill and on medication, my husband is paralyzed, and Abbas was the only breadwinner for the family," she added. "They destroyed my entire world right in front of my eyes." Extrajudicial killings are a primary tool used by the State to carry out the Baloch genocide. The Baloch people are being deprived of their most fundamental right: the right to life. This policy of "Kill-and-Dump" targeting Baloch youth is tantamount to ethnic cleansing and constitutes a crime against humanity. Families of other forcibly disappeared Baloch individuals also participated. Dr. Mahrang categorically highlighted the worsening human rights catastrophe unfolding in Balochistan, where state authorities do not even allow Baloch people to peacefully protest the disappearances and extra-judicial killings of their loved ones. She stated that negotiations and peace talks will only be possible when the state immediately abolishes the policy of enforced disappearances and extra-judicial killings of oppressed peoples. We presented our demands to the state to end the Baloch genocide and stop human rights violations in Balochistan. We gave a seven-day ultimatum, which will be completed tomorrow. Throughout these seven days, no state representative has approached us, nor has the state shown any responsibility for this serious issue. Instead, the Prime Minister of Pakistan has threatened victims' families and peaceful protestors, and Islamabad police are harassing us every day. In response to the state's irresponsible behavior, we call for a shutdown strike tomorrow across Pakistan. We appeal to the business community and people throughout Pakistan to support our struggle. Today, I was scheduled to travel to New York to attend TIME Magazine's gala, where I was invited alongside other leaders named as TIME’s Most Influential Emerging Leaders of the Year. However, I was unjustly stopped at Karachi International Airport with no legal or valid given reason, which is a clear violation of my fundamental right to freedom of movement. This action reflects the growing fear and insecurity of the state toward Baloch voices. There was no legitimate purpose for preventing my travel, except to silence Baloch voices from being heard internationally, control the flow of information about the situation in Balochistan, and conceal the decades-long human rights abuses occurring in Balochistan. By denying me the right to travel, the Pakistani government seeks to prevent me from exercising my freedom of expression and rights to movement. This arbitrary travel ban is part of the increasing crackdown on Baloch human rights defenders and activists. I will fight back against this unjust restriction on my rights to movement.
