The cap is set at approximately 364,000 study permits for 2024. 🍁 The cap excludes master's, doctorate, and elementary and secondary students. 🍁 There is no change for current study permit holders. An international student on a work permit which is going to expire soon blames Canada for the fact that she's going to have to leave despite the fact that no such guarantee is made to students or temporary workers. I should know because I came to Canada as an international student nearly 30 years ago. She and her friends are now exploring ways of how they can stay on in Canada, including applying for refugee status which will be tied up for years while their case is decided. Our immigration minister Marc Miller ᐅᑭᒫᐃᐧᐅᓃᐸᐄᐧᐤᐃᔨᐣ Mikotsikaa naively believes those whose permits are expiring are going to leave Canada voluntarily which is a joke. He should watch this video. The sense of entitlement of some of these people is astonishing. She doesn't have a legal right to stay on in Canada beyond the date her current permit expires and if she refuses to leave, she should be deported. These people are playing on white guilt, the easiest thing to exploit in Canada where people are generally naive and think everyone is well intentioned.

🌏🛬🇨🇦🏥 : Canadian healthcare is so bad that our Immigration minister just announced stunning new measures to rush doctors into Canada. This includes a rapid process of only 14 days for a foreign doctor to get a work permit, inside Canada. The Federal government is also creating a new 5,000 person immigration pool for international doctors to come to Canada. This is on top of a newly announced express entry for foreign doctors who have already worked at least one year inside Canada. Over the last 10 years the Liberal government packed in millions of immigrants, temporary foreign workers, refugees, asylum seekers & international students. This unsustainable migration policy was done in a bid to create new Liberal voters, as the Liberal brand plummeted in domestic support since 2019. You will note the Liberals have not announced any plan to halt immigration to Canada, until our healthcare system can stabilize. I fear Canadians will be in for a very rude awakening as foreign doctors, who may have some very unethical motives, take over many healthcare departments. This is more proof that the Liberal party cared more about holding onto power, at any cost, than the lives of Canadians that would be lost, as our healthcare system collapsed.

I say this as someone who is pro-India and has spent enough time there. Indian driver’s licenses should not count in the West, no one there knows how to drive on roads that actually have rules. Especially when it comes to trucks, full ban on any foreign born truck drivers. Unfortunately, Khalistanis have infiltrated the trucking industry and our governments to import cheap and unqualified drivers to take over the industry. The money they give up on regular deliveries is more than made up for by running the logistics for all the major drug cartels in their trucks. Basically the Khalistan scam (Khaliscam?) works like this: take over an industry, used it to bring people in on work permits, when they are about to expire claim refugee status from India, once these people are in your control turn them into gangsters or politicians.

The Albanese government has lost control of immigration. Over 75,000 illegal visa holders remain in Australia, driving down wages, pushing up rents, and overwhelming public services. Labor refuses to act. When confronted in the Senate, Minister Watt had no answers, he didn’t even know the numbers. That says it all. How can a government fix a problem they don’t understand? Instead of cracking down on the visa rorts flooding Australia with cheap labour, Anthony Albanese is wining and dining with international education industry figures. Labor is captured by the mass migration industry, more focused on looking after their mates and their donors than protecting Australian workers. One Nation will always put Australians first. Is there a danger that, in trying to signal their seriousness about governing, the Reform Party becomes too centrist? We’ve already seen them adopt the infuriatingly safe position of retaining the triple lock. As I discussed with Mark Littlewood, the one area where they simply cannot afford to ditch their radicalism is immigration. Voters require a clear blueprint ahead of the next election as to exactly how the Reform Party will bring our immigration system under control, stop the boats, and deport those with no right to be here. Would you vote for the Party without it?

This is the Australian story for about two decades - low productivity, high immigration and declining living standards. “Well Deloitte Access Economics has been producing quarterly economic reports for 30 years - and today’s was among its grimmest. 3 months ago they were forecasting 2% growth for this financial year - now they reckon it’ll be 1.3%. And next year, 1.9% - which will be the longest stretch of sub 2% growth since the 1992 recession. This is the Australian story for about two decades - low productivity, high immigration and declining living standards. “Well Deloitte Access Economics has been producing quarterly economic reports for 30 years - and today’s was among its grimmest. 3 months ago they were forecasting 2% growth for this financial year - now they reckon it’ll be 1.3%. And next year, 1.9% - which will be the longest stretch of sub 2% growth since the 1992 recession. In the text, chief economist Stephen Smith says for too long strong population growth has masked a weak underlying productivity performance - and lifted growth while doing less for living standards. And he’s predicting more of the same - here’s his chart of population growth, history and forecast.
