China has unveiled a mobile aerosol smoke-screen system designed to rapidly obscure large areas during military operations. The system was recently tested in a live-fire exercise by the PLA. According to Chinese sources, it can generate broad, multi-spectral smoke screens intended to interfere with multiple types of surveillance and strike systems simultaneously. The system is reportedly designed to degrade the effectiveness of UAVs, thermal imaging systems and precision-guided weapons by obscuring targets and disrupting observation. #China #PLA #Military #ElectronicWarfare #Drones #UAV #CounterUAS #Defense

China has reportedly demonstrated a remotely controlled variant of the Lynx CS/VP16B 6×6 light multi-purpose vehicle family at a test range. Several configurations have reportedly been demonstrated on the same chassis, including versions equipped with a remote weapon station and guided missiles, a 120 mm mortar, a 107 mm multiple rocket launcher, an ammunition and cargo module, a communications and reconnaissance configuration, and a conventional troop-transport variant. Some versions were reportedly shown during live-fire exercises. The concept is based on a common chassis that can be adapted for different missions rather than developing separate unmanned vehicles for each role. In its remotely operated configuration, the Lynx can reportedly function as a ground-based “combat mule” for ammunition resupply, weapon transport or forward deployment of fire-support systems without exposing a crew. With a reported weight of approximately 1.2 tonnes, the CS/VP16B can carry around 1.1 tonnes of payload, allowing relatively heavy systems such as a 120 mm mortar or 107 mm rocket launcher to be integrated. #China #Lynx #CSVP16B #UGV #UnmannedGroundVehicle #GroundRobot #MilitaryRobotics #RemoteControl #6x6 #Mortar #MLRS #CombatVehicle #DroneWarfare #MilitaryTechnology #DefenseTechnology

A Russian manufacturer has presented a three-barrel launcher designed to protect vehicles and bunker entrances from pursuing UAVs. The system reportedly uses three projectiles and features a remote initiation control panel with separate indicators and switches for each barrel. A control cable ranging from 5 to 50 metres (16–164 feet), depending on configuration, allows the system to be operated from a distance. According to the manufacturer, the launcher can be mounted on vehicles and quickly reloaded. Its stated firing range is up to 25 metres (82 feet). The system weighs approximately 3.5 kg (7.7 lbs) and measures 370 × 90 × 100 mm. The manufacturer lists a 5 V power supply. #Russia #CounterUAS #CounterDrone #FPV #DroneWarfare #AntiDrone #UAV #MilitaryTechnology #DefenseTechnology

U.S. company AG3 Labs has demonstrated the RACK module for launching FPV drones. The modular system is reportedly designed to be mounted on different platforms and can accommodate up to five FPV drones per module. The demonstration reportedly showed RACK modules integrated onto the AZAK S26 unmanned ground vehicle, developed by AZAK, as well as the ULTRA unmanned ground platform from Overland AI. The footage reportedly shows two RACK modules being used in the demonstration. #USA #AG3Labs #RACK #FPV #FPVDrone #UGV #AZAKS26 #OverlandAI #ULTRA #DroneTechnology #CounterDrone #DroneWars

U.S. company Mara has presented its Spike counter-drone system, designed to defend against FPV drones. The system consists of two main components: the Spotter detection module, which uses visual and acoustic sensors to identify incoming drones, and the Seeker interceptor UAV. The Seeker reportedly has a maximum speed of up to 200 km/h (124 mph) and an operational range of approximately 1.5 km (0.9 miles). Mara estimates the complete Spike system will cost between $30,000 and $100,000, depending on the number of Seeker interceptors included. A single system can reportedly accommodate up to 48 interceptors. The company says the interceptor itself is intended to cost approximately the same as its target, or up to twice as much. A stationary version of Spike is planned for late 2026, while vehicle-mounted and portable versions using manual launch are expected in 2027. The system reportedly underwent testing in Ukraine in July 2026. #USA #Mara #Spike #CounterUAS #CounterDrone #FPV #Drones #DroneWarfare #Interceptor #MilitaryTechnology #Defense

Russian media have reported on a new fixed-wing anti-aircraft drone designated “ROI-F1,” reportedly developed using the Chinese ZOHD Talon GT Rebel airframe as its basis. According to the reports, the interceptor can carry a warhead weighing approximately 0.8 kg (1.8 lbs) and is available in two variants. The standard version reportedly reaches a speed of up to 140 km/h (87 mph), while an upgraded version featuring a new engine and modified nose fairing is said to reach approximately 200 km/h (124 mph). The drones reportedly began entering service with Russian operators around the beginning of summer. #Russia #ROIF1 #FPV #InterceptorDrone #AirDefense #CounterUAS #Drones #DroneWarfare #UAV #MilitaryTechnology #DefenseTechnology

Slovak company KolArms has presented the Nemesis remotely controlled anti-drone module, a vehicle-mounted system designed to provide short-range protection against aerial threats. The module reportedly weighs 920 kg and can be installed on a pickup truck or other suitable vehicle. In its demonstrated configuration, Nemesis is equipped with four 12.7 mm DShK machine guns, four anti-drone grenades, eight smoke grenades and an integrated sighting system. According to KolArms, the weapon configuration can also be adapted to the mission. Instead of the four DShK machine guns, the module can reportedly be equipped with two 23 mm 2A7M cannons, four 12.7 mm Browning M2 machine guns or four 14.5 mm KPV machine guns. The modular weapon arrangement is intended to allow the same remotely operated platform to be adapted to different counter-UAS requirements and vehicle configurations. #Slovakia #Nemesis #KolArms #CUAS #AntiDrone #Drones
