First official visuals of Meta's Project Phoenix, found in the HorizonOS Prescription Lens firmware package!

Alongside this improvement, Meta is also rolling out real time window scaling (windows no longer "jump" to a new size when the distance is changed) as well as environment cast shadows in both Passthrough and VR.

It seems the "Seamless Multitasking" Experimental Feature introduced in Quest/Horizon OS v69 PTC was updated to let you use up to 3 windows! (Stutters only present because I record at high settings :v)

Meta Quest/Horizon OS v72 now lets you open apps by simply dragging and dropping the icon in 3D space. This is done via a press/pinch and hold on the app icon. Previously you needed to open them in the docked state then drag them away.

Hmm, I think I prefer the transparent Navigator variant. It simply dims your windows and environment/passthrough instead of using a large blur gradient.

I just got the "Window Magnetism" feature that is rolling out as part of Horizon OS 2.1! In both Passthrough and VR, windows will automatically Anchor to flat surfaces, and can be easily detached. It also (thankfully) doesn't require a Space Setup scan to work in Passthrough.

A undocumented feature in Meta Quest v64 found by @Squashi9 After completing a Space Setup scan (or pressing the optional "Add Furniture") it will now try to automatically detect + label planes/objects it sees within the mesh. A big deal, I'm surprised they didn't mention it!

Here is the new fullscreen video player UX for Meta Quest Browser that is currently rolling out. Honestly a massive improvement. One quirk is that the environment dimming slider doesn't seem to work in passthrough, might be a bug though.

My pal @lukegotbored accidently got access to another Meta internal build. Looks like Meta is working on a virtual theater environment, and it seems to built on top of the upcoming Horizon Worlds/Home '2.0' overhaul, with the ability to invite users etc. This is still very WIP.
