Rescue 1122, the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, WASA, Local Government, and Suthra Punjab teams are on the ground, monitoring the situation and ensuring a swift response. Without the establishment of WASA across Punjab and the availability of dedicated machinery and equipment in every district, rainfall of this magnitude would likely have left roads inundated for days. Effective planning, institutional capacity, and continuous field supervision make a tangible difference during extreme weather events.
