I injected the horse tranquilizer Ketamine and tracked my brain data for 15 days. It completely scrambled my brain. In a world-first we answered the question ‘what happens to the brain before, during, and after ketamine treatment?’ We also discovered how long it took for my brain to return to ‘normal’. The results surprised me. 🧵

At a party, you’re given a choice: vape or use a nicotine patch. Which do you choose?

Kara Swisher says I have a male eating disorder. She's closer to right than she knows. There is a decade of my life where I didn't take any pictures of myself because I was overweight, unhealthy, and sad. That version of me ate his feelings and self-destructed. No one called that version sick. The obsessive measurement didn't create the disorder. It was the treatment for one that already existed. My internal signals were so broken I couldn't trust them. I needed external data to find my way back. I had to rebuild from scratch. Kara says this is body dysmorphia cosplaying as science. I'd say it's what happens when a person loses the plot so completely that the only way home is through the numbers. I publish it all. Including the failures, embarrassment, and the erection data, because hiding is what created the disorder. She can call it a circus, repellent, or eating disorder. You cannot call it hiding.

I create content for X, IG, YouTube, TikTok, and email. The video below will do 1-3 million views on IG, YouTube and TikTok but will perform horribly on X (maybe 20-50k views). The video also has a longer total life on the other platforms, whereas dead on X within 24 hours.

I removed all the plasma from my body, 3.1 liters, and replaced it with Albumin. A therapy to remove toxins from my body. v0 of this therapy was my blood boy v1 is this, removing and replacing all my plasma Others use TPE for autoimmune disorders, blood disorders, neurological conditions, transplant-related complications, and replacement of missing plasma components. As we normally do, we completed a bunch of baseline measurements before this therapy including toxins but other things too such as speed of aging, organ ages, microplastics and many other biomarkers. The operator, who’s been doing TPE for 9 years, said my plasma is the cleanest he’s ever seen. By far. He couldn’t get over it. When we finished, he couldn’t bring himself to throw it away. He was imagining all the good that it could do in the world. On people’s face as PRP therapy. In their body, rejuvenating organs. Remember that when my father received 1 L of my plasma, his speed of aging dropped by 25 years and stayed that way for six months. We don’t know if it was from my super plasma or if it was from removing his plasma, but the results are interesting nonetheless. The whole procedure took just under 2 hours.

Ilya and I are predicting the same future. Ilya Sutskever predicts that as AI becomes viscerally powerful, humans will change in unprecedented ways. I’ve been arguing the same. We are not open to radical change yet because we cannot feel the pressure of AI. Once we do, the vectors for human evolution will blow open. I have been building the prototype for this adaptation and opening. He argues that as risk rises, rivals will begin cooperating on safety. I’ve argued the same. As the stakes become existential, the game shifts from dominance maximizing to minimizing death risk (survival). We will rebuild our values around this logic. IIya suggests our alignment goal must be "sentient existence" rather than human control. I've argued the same. Control is a fragile illusion, a point Andrej Karpathy recently echoed regarding the difficulty of managing emergent systems. The only robust alignment target is existence itself. The new archetype is not the Conqueror, but the Warrior & Caretaker of Existence. Finally, Ilya suggests companies need a "short list of ideas" to guide them through the chaos. A code of moral clarity. This is the Don't Die philosophy.

Last week, Chamath Palihapitiya and I had dinner. He had this to say: "Bryan's skin is incredible. His skin is like a porcelain dolls. Both my wife and I were like, we've never seen skin like this. It's incredibly soft. It's the softest skin I've ever touched in my life." Supple skin is proof of young biological age, and a power-law marker of systemic health and efficient rejuvenation. Let's look at the science 🧵

What do you think is the most damaging ingredient in Taco Bell's Crunchwrap Supreme?

I loved being in India. My first time. I was shocked by how normalized Indians are to poor air quality. Breathing the air is like smoking multiple cigarettes a day. Yet no one wears a mask or has air filters in their indoor environments. The evidence shows that India would improve the health of its population more by cleaning up air quality than by curing all cancers. I am unsure why India's leaders do not make air quality a national emergency. I don't know what interests, money and power keep things the way they are but it's really bad for the entire country.

I reduced microplastics in my sperm by 85% and I think it was the dry sauna

Most people sauna wrong. That’s ok, they’re trying. Here’s how to do it correctly for longevity. We measured vascular health, blood markers, fertility health, sleep, environmental toxins, and even a first in world demonstration of removing microplastics from testicles.
