NEW: The NTSB has released footage of the damage swath following the explosive crash of UPS Flight 2976, whose left #1 engine detached and fell off during takeoff from Louisville, Kentucky on Tuesday. The death toll has risen to 13, including 10 persons on the ground, with another 8+ people unaccounted for. The damage swath is approximately a half mile long.

El Dorado-Duke was also a fun one. I didn’t move for ~45 minutes… I was in position having a picnic before the mesocyclone developed, and sat in that same spot as the tornado passed within a quarter mile. Peaceful. Loud.
