🔥 Floodwaters From Nepal Entered into India 3 unidentified bodies have been recovered from the Gandak River in UP’s Maharajganj district by the SSB. Two were identified as women. Heavy floods in Nepal caused the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers to swell. They merge into the Narayani, which enters India as the Gandak. Over 350 deaths and 1,300 missing have been reported in Nepal, including nearly 300 Indians. NDRF & SDRF teams are on alert in Saran and Muzaffarpur. The Bhotekoshi originates in Tibet near the Nepal border and flows into Nepal, becoming part of the Trishuli river system. The Trishuli meets the Kali Gandaki at Devghat to form the Narayani (Gandaki), which enters India as the Gandak and eventually joins the Ganga. 🎥Niraj Thapa

Handri Neeva water is now flowing from Kothacheruvu towards Puttaparthi. 🌊💧 With the expansion of irrigation and drinking-water projects, a large part of Rayalaseema is increasingly dependent on Krishna River water. In the coming years, a significant portion of Andhra Pradesh’s population may depend heavily on Krishna waters. This is a moment for us to think ahead and develop alternative and sustainable water sources. We should not depend completely on a single river or water source. One river cannot be the only lifeline for millions. We must plan today for the water security of tomorrow. 🌱💧
