Recreated with codex as fframes project. Just rust, svg, and shaders.

Not many remember but 5 years ago I started working on my FAST video rendering framework. I have never released it but when I've seen that people wait 12 hours I realized that I have to do it now Introducing fframes. This video was vibed in 48 minutes and rendered in 36 seconds

If you didn't feel the ongoing revolution, here is my second project I built with jev. Your software is drastically outdated. It contains a lot of instructions your CPU executes one by one. Why if we can simply ask Jev for the next instructions to execute Introducing Jevassembler! It is a new approach to execute something on CPU. You don't need to wait for code to be written, you don't need to compile anything and YOU DON'T NEED CODE. You just give it a task and Jev predicts the next instruction to execute. In runtime. who needs compilers if you have AI

I got access to Jev. It's incredible. The horizon of what's possible just moved. LLM-era software had a real gap and project liks this was simply impossible. Introducing the first real-time AI-first calculator - no CPU load - instant responses - costs pennies - jev based

I gotchu folks. Made a stabilized version of this video and optimized for zoomers watching

I am tired of executing random scripts to install software and then not being able to uninstall it. Today I fixed it. Introducing bashka! It is a lightweight single-binary cli to manage bash madness. It statically analyzes the bash script that you are going to run for installations and then also keeps track of what you have installed

Okay Apple, I just implemented a calculator app entirely in arm64 darwin assembly, yes with UI. It might be not as slick and fancy as yours but at least it does not do heap allocation at all so have a constant memory usage no matter what I calculate :D

My dear software engineers, I am excited to present you my latest achievement in the code search area that I've been trying to tackle for the last months: ACTUALLY WORKING real-time approximate typo-resistant code search. What does it mean? you: can search any code with any typos you agent: for every search of UserController with 0 results will automatically suggest UserAuthController without additional cost It's already live you can try it right now as MCP for file search

I was also looking into how we can integrate Jev into a real hardware and I built a custom firmware for my keyboard that predicts and highljghts the next key using Jev. Mostly real time. This is not a simple dummy 2kb model that lives in the board. In my project Jev gets context of the current active app on a screen so it can suggest actual vim commands completion! For real. And a real word endings or even phrases. lmao this experiments are getting out of hand this quite cool

Couldn't agree more with Linus here. Making your code running as fast as possible (or just faster than someone's else code) is the best feeling you can get from programming The issue that it is extremely hard to find the project that will pay you for instruction level efficiency

My dear software developers (and anyone who’s interested in the future of code search): I have crawled through depths of hell to bring you, one of the more important foundational piece of programming: fast, the most accurate, index free, and correct code search Here is a real time code search on leaked claude code sources, linux kernel 100k files, and chromium repo 500k files

Introducing fff-ai. It's a file search tooling optimized specifically for your AI 1) significantly faster than fzf and ripgrep 2) has fuzzy code search fallbacks 3) better sort and suggestions of access frecency, git status, file size, etc Avg -10% wall time and -17% tokens

The last reason for using web for video rendering over fframes was 3D. It was possible to render 3D with fframes, but not as easy as with three.js. Fixed. Announcing fframes-3d, it is a threejs style API Rust 3D engine that AI understands very well and which works flawlessly with our gpu renderer & encoder (zero overhead) This 36 seconds shot was rended in just about 9 seconds on fframes GPU backend. Oh, and it works on CPU too!

It’s absolutely gorgeous. You can make this kind of videos with fframes as well!
