Don't be afraid to start over!😅 I wasn't happy with my arm correctives, so I completely reworked them... It definitely looks and feels more natural now compared to how it was before. I will probably see what I can do to improve the thigh corrective next #blender #rigging #rig

Much happier with these updated thigh correctives! A big improvement from my original setup, but still isn't perfect when pushed to an extreme. The thigh squish is handled by shape keys, and the calf+hamstring are b-bones with transformation constraints😄 #blender #rigging #rig

Spent the whole day working on the thigh deforms... It's not 100%, but it's definitely an improvement from my old setups!😄 I've got the twist/breakdown bones left to do here, and a lot more learning to do in the future. but for now, i'm pretty pleased. #blender #rigging #rig

Added some more automation to my magazine rig 😁 Using drivers i'm able to enable the property, as soon as the magazine gets close to the threshold. It has its limits, but from animating just one bone and a property, i think it's pretty good! #blender #rig #rigging

Hologram shader! I thought it would be cool to give this character the ability to clone herself with holograms, holopilot style So i ended up with this cool customisable setup! Never played the game that the character is from so i'm just freestyling features #blender #shader

Small update on the ODM rig, took a surprising amount of troubleshooting to get this result :D The idea behind this, was to tweak the position of the model on different shaped/sized characters using Anchor bones. so that the rig is as universal as possible! #blender #rigging

I made this controller that straightens FK chains from the base!😄 It uses drivers on the MCH layer, that get offset through the expression. It creates a different arc in the tail than the basic FK curvature, and works really well for sharks! #blender #rigging #rig

Got the Handle Wires rigged up on my ODM gear!😮💨 This was quite a headache, but i'm happy with these results! I have a Tweak chain following a Spline IK, following a Bezier curve which is controlled by controllers parented to an IK chain... #blender #rigging #rig

All done! And it looks so satisfying 😍 It turned out to be really simple once you handle the strings in segments instead of being one whole object. Just have the controllers to polish and some clean-up to do and that's a wrap! I'm so pleased :) #blender #rigging #rig

Just finished up the wrist! I found that, using 4 bones for each axis of correction and parenting that to a semi-rotating bone works really nicely! The forearm twisting correction is something simple but very effective at reducing the "candy wrapper" effect. #blender #rigging
