Just wrapped 101 Tesla Robotaxi rides in one day! 💪 Pretty sure that’s a first. And I did all of that while still working a full day at my job. Sweepstakes total: 124. Peak pace was 29 rides an hour, held for two hours.

FSD 14.2.2.5 on Mad Max gets pulled over by a State Trooper for speeding 🚔🚨 A few interesting observations: When passing the State Trooper, FSD saw the vehicle and moved over into the left lane to yield more space (albeit without slowing down). When the trooper turned his lights on, FSD did initiate a turn signal as if it was going to pull off onto the shoulder. Unfortunately, I disengaged at this point and didn’t get to see if FSD would’ve actually stopped. Fortunately, only a warning was issued for speeding (allegedly). 🎟️

FSD 14.2.2.5. Green light. Car inches forward then just… stops. Nobody there. No cars. No pedestrians. No objects. Nothing. Waited five seconds. Nothing. Had to hold the accelerator down to get it moving. I've seen others reporting this same behavior at intersections. Something is off or changed in this build. The car is seeing something that isn't there or it's hesitating on a decision that should be automatic. Green means go. 🚥

Tesla Robotaxi Cleaning Robot update: The Robotaxi Hub in Austin now has a cleaning robot built into the facility. Permit TABS2025022006 explicitly lists a cleaning robot in the scope of work alongside Superchargers and an Equipment Inspection System. Tesla teased the automated cleaning system last year. It is now permitted and built. The hub completed construction in March 2026.

After dropping David Moss and I off in a busy area of Dallas, the Robotaxi stayed in the lane for two minutes. One lane of traffic, so everything backed up behind it. Honking, revving, the whole nine yards. Our pickup from the same spot later was totally fine. Car pulled away almost as soon as we got back in.

Talk about an edge case… FSD 14.3.1 had no idea what to do and wouldn’t back up when the truck mounted attenuator began deploying to block the freeway entrance. Had to take over after we both kept creeping forward and FSD was not giving enough space. Tesla AI Shoutout to TesCam Studio and Teslascope for this editing setup!
