What an awkward bug! There's no player input, no forces. I just made a liquid simulation algorithm, and it's trying to work. Yet the behavior somehow is so sophisticated, a combination of chaos and order. Like it's trying to self-organize into something, but fails.

How fast you should go to drive over a lake. Physics simulation experiment.

For my genetic algo project I tried using modified AVBD method (on the video). It's FAST, great at resisting pressure and maintaining volume. But GA would always feed on parazite pos correction energy, to move for free. So, after all I used physically fair solver by Erin Catto

There's a strange bug in my fluid simulation. I think, it's trying to build something from the particles.

I simulated a volcano. My physics engine works well, time to make a game with it.

At some point I considered making a molecular constructor as a little sandbox game. I enjoyed putting together particles with different properties, to form stable objects. But it made sense as a VR game, and I didn't have a VR set to test it, so didn't push this proto further.

Some of the experiments I do in my physics engine end up on the absurdist side.

For this simulation I used the algorithm I invented, to generate a mesh around a set of physics particles. The particles are used as bones. Skinned mesh math runs on GPU, updates the mesh, then it's rendered, without any data sent GPU->CPU. Marching cubes would be easier though.
