A new GTA 6 actor has potentially been discovered.... Keep in mind that this is absolutely nowhere near as clear cut as some of the other cast members (Stephen Root, Manni L Perez, Dylan Rourke etc) but at the very least I do think that there’s a strong case for it. u/Significant-Cry4539 posted to Reddit that they think John Ortiz is the cop from Trailer 2. I can definitely see a similarity in the face. The accent is also the same. However, I can’t find a clip where he speaks in the same tone as the GTA 6 character does, which makes it hard to say for sure. John has also commonly played police officers in the past. He starred as one in Nobody 2 just last year. Rockstar is clearly open to casting popular actors in GTA 6 too considering Stephen Root is playing Brian. I definitely think that this could end up being correct but I’m still far from certain. There’s not any real evidence outside of a resemblance, similar voice and previous roles. It could for sure end up being somebody else. Fun speculation though!show more

President Carter’s time on this earth is coming to... an end according to his grandson Jason Carter. What a great man. At 99 he has accomplished so much. With an election coming up let’s remember all he has done for voting rights. Jason Carter: "My grandfather is doing okay. He has been in hospice, as you know, for almost a year and a half now, and he really is, I think, coming to the end. I’ve said before, there’s a part of this faith journey that is so important to him, and there’s a part of that faith journey that you only can live at the very end and I think he has been there in that space."show more

While I have premium I definitely want to do... a long post breaking down the main scene from this show that I obsess with. There's so much that I feel could be learned from it. Not just for expansion animators either. There's honestly a LOT that can be learned from how this show directed its expansion scenes that can be applied to even safe for work animations. Obviously yes, the expansion alone is really good. What makes it so good though is just the fact that there's things you pick up on that you likely don't even realize until you re-watch. I'm using this scene as an example as it's not AS good I would say, but it still has a lot going for it. One thing I've always loved from it that I want to use in my own animations someday is that the expansion sort of comes in waves as opposed to one consistent growth. In a way, it makes it feel more natural while also selling how tight the top is getting. It could have been accompanied by showing the knot getting tighter or smaller with each growth. It's a small part of the animation but just that one thing already adds another layer to appreciate. It's not like most expansion scenes where there's very little outside of just "growing" on its own. There's a bunch of little things that subtly improve it without being obnoxious. The first expansion scene has WAY more that I want to talk about honestly. Far more than this one has. It will probably be a really long post now that I think about it...show more

This has all been shared ad nauseam, but here’s... my two cents. Yes, I think they were probably disappointed with their seats. Not that it wasn’t the front row, as we all know those are terrible seats for a movie, but still, they look hugely out of place. I’m sure they were hoping something a bit more benefiting their perceived sense of self-importance. But it’s Harry that gets me here. In the picture, which granted is just a moment, you can feel the misery and the brokenness. He does not look like a happy man. Sure, he fakes it for the cameras, but not everything is happy behind the scenes. It’s hard to know for sure, of course, but there’s a sadness that can be felt looking at him.show more

Everyone is talking about this video, but I think... this is two people trying to avoid each other and Conner just making a mistake at the shortstop position. The slide is clearly off the base and then he comes clearly off the base to meet the slide. I think he had it pre-decided in his mind that he was going to try to avoid a direct slide and they just ended up at the same place. I could be wrong unless the shortstop is trying to get some sort of obstruction or interference call #raisethecone #pittsburg #Pirates #Raysup #Tampa #Mlbshow more

Interesting development - I was told numerous stories about... what happened yesterday at Crosby. One being it was a group of Asian men attacking teenage girls. Some as young as 14. I dismissed it as rumours and told people to watch out for racism. People unfairly targeting Asians and making lies up about them. But I’ve just been sent this. Now unless there is a conspiracy to frame them. It’s now looking like this is the case. The only other possibility is that this was 2 separate incidents. But either way we can’t live in peace with savages who do this on a public beach in front of families. I don’t want to speculate. So I’m going to bite my tongue on this for the time being in case I’m wrong. It has since been confirmed that teenage girls have been attacked with a bladed item. But the attacker has not been confirmed. I’m currently speaking to the Echo to work out what’s going on.show more

President Trump is being duped on polling numbers about... the popularity of War with Iran and does not realize it. CNN released a clearly fake or cherry picked poll saying that almost all of MAGA supports the War. This could not be further from the truth. If you think it is, go ask a few MAGA people in your actual life their thoughts on the War. A lot of them are strongly against it. But both the mainstream media and the neocons around President Trump want him to believe these numbers. The left leaning mainstream media want him to believe these numbers because the longer this war goes on, the better it works out for Democrats in upcoming elections. The right leaning mainstream media want him to believe it because their biggest donors are very pro war in Iran. The neocons surrounding him want him to believe it because then they can have the war in the Middle East they have always pushed for. I do not think President Trump is playing 4D chess with this war. I do not think he is super pro war. I do not think he cares about the Middle East that much. I just think he is being manipulated by the people around him and he does not realize it. The best thing for President Trump and the country as a whole is that he recognizes how unpopular this disaster is, corrects course by getting the United States out of involvement, and fires anyone who has lied to him about polling around him. Now to be clear, I do think there are many in MAGA who are suddenly pro this war, but that is just the people who would believe the sky is green and grass is blue if President Trump told them to. That does not represent the majority of the MAGA base. As always, I am not the holder of truth. This is just my assessment of the current situation.show more

Dear Genshin Impact fans, In my nodkrai video I... said that Natlan’s music was nice but felt shallow, my mistake in this was not elaborating on why. I said it in passing and didn’t consider the word choice. I’m gathering that people assumed I was referring to the PLACES being represented by the music Which is preposterous because I would never criticize a culture or place, as I’ve always felt that is genshin’s strongest element. I assumed you would know it was obvious I was talking about the musical composition and structure not what that music represented (the people and the places) I’m sorry if you felt that I was spitting in the face of your culture. As a multicultural person myself and soon to be married to a multicultural person as well, I would never ever do that. I am saddened that you may have felt that. That said, subjectively, I felt natlan’s music was nice. But, a bit too easy listening to my taste. Part of the reason I have filmed so many Genshin videos is due to the musical complexity it showcases. Not just in the western soundscape but also in other regions that are represented. You’ll recall I defended this very thing a year ago when the music was representing African culture. At that time I was lambasted on this platform for saying that people of color were not being represented properly in game. I’m perplexed why you would think I’m suggesting the opposite now, even going so far as have people claim I am “racist” which is a bridge too far. In any event, I’m sorry for any hurt feelings. It’s clear to me that if I’m going to say something, I should be clear about what I mean.show more

Dear Rockstar Games , Rockstar Support To get the... best possible experience out of GTA 6, I have purchased a copy of the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition and a PlayStation 5 Pro. However, I do not feel my English proficiency is strong enough to fully experience everything GTA 6 has to offer. There are millions of Turkish gamers just like me. If GTA 6 launches with Turkish subtitle support, we are talking about millions of Turkish players who would want to purchase both the PlayStation 5 and the premium edition of the game. Furthermore, there are already tens of thousands of Turkish gamers who have pre-ordered GTA 6, even without being fluent in English. Turkey is home to one of the largest GTA communities. We are simply asking for Turkish subtitle support. Also, dear Sony and PlayStation : please support us in securing Turkish subtitles so that the console sells in much higher numbers in Türkiye alongside GTA 6! #WeWantGTA6inTurkishshow more

OK, I have a definitive word on the CJ... Abrams play from today's Pittsburgh Pirates at Washington Nationals game after talking with Elias Sports Bureau on this. This play will stay as a sacrifice fly. The originial ruling of NOT a sacrifice fly was for the exact same reason that I thought, which is that the infielder is not running into the outfield, which is year's past would have been correct As it was explained to me, in past years, an infielder had to be running almost in a straight line towards the outfield wall to be considered "running in the outfield". Here, since he is running, and he ends up further away from home (157 feet) than when he started (145 feet), this is going to count as a sacrifice fly. That definition is changing, in part from this play to help bring greater consistency, and to take some of the guesswork out of it (the argument that he is running into the outfield as opposed to more parallel). Now, folks all the time ask "why doesn't MLB publish the OS Manual" and I always say because it is a living document that can have the wording change, and the wording for this play will be modified to something like "more towards the outfield wall than towards home plate" to eliminate any confusion. The big key to this play is that he was running on a full sprint. Also, and this is helpful for me, but for all fly ball outs that score a run, Elias Saba reviews to ensure consistency. So, yes, it's a sacrifice fly, and now that I have that info from Elias themselves, that sort of settles this one. Sounds like the guidelines for this definition will be changing, either this season, or certainly for next season.show more

As someone who is pretty up to date in... AI I’d say there are 2 times a year where I am genuinely blown away by something. A breakthrough that keeps me up at night. This is one of them. I mean the video of will smith genuinely freaks me out by how good it is. 2.5 years of AI progress and you think it’s hitting a wall. I mean you do have a very good point,... however I hope you can understand where I come from. (Sorry I’m advance for the long tweet back) This is exactly what I use to do when I was their age. We didn’t have the luxury of an independent scene we do now and even if we did I was 14 years old, I was only allowed to go to a training school to learn the basics. But I had an enormous passion for the business & if I wasn’t allowed to work shows I’d do it myself. - and I’d argue that because of this I had a head start on a lot of the people I trained with when I finally turned 18 From there I’ve been lucky enough to have the support of friends, peers & fans to push me into what I am today. The fact I’ve still had that same style for now 17 years and this is my first surgery, I think I’ve looked after my body. Think about it 17 years this is my first major injury. You think this is stupid, I would say it’s equally as stupid as to fall off a scaffolding breaking both your legs. And while I’m sure there’s a few people that wished you landed on your head, I for one hope you’re doing well & not in too much pain from your injury. But to me, it showed the care that you have for the industry at that time. I see myself in these guys that are finding any outlet to do what they love. Their bumps are solid & basing is great. Like I said I understand there is a level of danger doing this so I hope none of them get hurt but I can’t help but root for these guys and hope I one day see them in a ring. Once again sorry for the long arse tweet and hope the message finds you well boss.show more

As a business owner. This is my website overview... over the last 90 days. And this excludes sales from My 9 distributors. The physical cash made from my walk in sale that had a lot of turnup and also daily walk in shop sales. This is just website purchases. Not that I care if anyone looks up to me. But this comment makes it look like there’s nothing worth learning from me? A girl can’t be business minded and funny simultaneously?😭 This is 1/3 of my businesses. The dashboard shows a significant increase in sale as compared to last year. So what’s there not to look up to? Mind you my products cost between 45 to 80gh. Do you know how many you have to sell in 90 days to get that? Now as a beat maker. Who has the knowledge on who people should look up to. Can I see what inspiration your fellow beat makers can pick from you to keep them pushing? Im sure we all want to learn.😄 Mine is down here👇🏻show more

As I sit here in DC this week, we... are closer to something I was not sure I would ever see. I have been working in this industry since 2015. For most of those years, the defining feature of crypto in Washington was not policy. It was the absence of it. A gray zone where serious people built serious things under a constant cloud, never quite sure which rules applied or whether the ground would move beneath them. This week the CLARITY Act sits on the Senate calendar. A federal framework for digital asset market structure, the thing this industry has wanted for the better part of a decade, is closer than it has ever been. It is not law yet, and there are real hurdles left. But the distance between where we stood a few years ago and where we are sitting today is hard to put into words. I keep thinking about the work that got us here. Over the past year I watched Chainlink move from outside these conversations to inside them. Sergey at the White House for the signing of the GENIUS Act. The Department of Commerce putting government economic data onchain. Meetings with the SEC that became real interpretive guidance. Conversations with the lawmakers now writing the rules. None of that happens by accident. It happens because people keep showing up, year after year, and make the case in rooms where it is not yet obvious. And there is something fitting in it. The entire premise of what we build is verification. Making truth provable. Removing the question of what is real. The work here in DC is the same thing in a different form. Trading a decade of ambiguity for something the industry has never actually had. We are not at the finish line. But sitting here, it is hard not to feel the weight of it. The gray zone is ending. What comes next is something this industry has never had. Clarity.show more
