His individual amateur titles include: Valderrama Boys Invitational Italian International U16 Championship Skania Junior Open Junior Orange Bowl Championship He grew up representing Norway and was frequently on the same national teams as Viktor Hovland. A judge declares a mistrial in the Chris Brown... dog attack case and CB says, "It happens," when asked about the outcome. On Tuesday (June 16), Breezy appeared in court to face trial for a civil lawsuit filed by the singer's former housekeeper, Maria Avila, who claims she was viciously mauled by Brown's dog in 2020. However, the case was declared a mistrial by Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Huey P. Cotton after one of the jurors looked up information related to the case on the internet and shared it with other jury members, Rolling Stone reports. To die a martyr on behalf of the hotel would retroactively rewrite his afterlife as service rather than sovereignty. When Vaggie and Husk ask for Alastor to help, Alastor withdraws entirely, fully posturing as someone who just enjoys being difficult and doesn’t care. Clearly, if he cannot control the outcome, he will refuse participation entirely. Still, there’s a deeper narrative tension building here — the hotel promising (and delivering) on redemption is in direct contrast to Alastor’s worldview. The hotel is no longer a spectacle for him to be entertained by, but a project that threatens the hierarchies of Hell Alastor had worked to establish himself within even before his human death. Alastor cannot tolerate these positions where he must rely on others or act altruistically. Those positions strip him of narrative agency, of the control and self-preservation critical to his character. He previously made a claim about being “Black on the inside” and even equated the term “Fredo” with the N-word. His reckless banter showcases a disturbing ignorance of the weight that racial language carries in America. His attempt to diminish the significance of Black leadership by mocking Harris as though her rise to become the vice president and nomination for president are superficial phenomenoms, rather than the result of hard-earned success in a country built on systemic racial inequities, is unacceptable. His thoughtless comments perpetuate harmful stereotypes about Black leaders, dehumanize their achievements, and trivialize the faith and support the Black community places in its representatives. For Cuomo to reduce Kamala Harris’ historic role to a caricature demonstrates his continued lack of respect for the Black community and its struggles. It is this kind of casual racism, cloaked in so-called political commentary, that fans the flames of division and undermines the progress we are fighting for.
