Wow! FSD 14.3.2 just saved my cybertruck and 4... deer by stopping and swerving as I was going 73 mph in pitch dark at midnight. I didn’t touch anything. I don’t even know if I would have even reacted so fast without avoid them. So thankful for FSD 🙏🏼 This isn’t the first time it’s slowed for a deer but this is the most aggressive action it has taken to avoid and can clearly see how quick it is for reaction. So apparently Brussels locals instantly know when you’re NOT... driving 😄 FSD awareness is high! This kind gentleman waves me through… but he didn’t spot his colleague waiting on the left to cross. Another example of Tesla Self driving better than humans.... I’m following this Legacy SUV in my Cybertruck on FSD 14.2.2.1 and we feel the brakes and are like what’s going on. Then see a deer ahead in front of SUV run past road. Deer makes it across but what is funny but not funny the SUV doesn’t even tap brakes. Don’t even look liked they slowed down. You can see us slowing down behind SUV after deer crosses. This is all done by FSD. I did nothing. People often ask me if I trust FSD. I always say yes. More than humans for sure. Almost got into an accident this afternoon while on... FSD. FSD thought the FedEx truck would make its turn quicker. When it realized it couldn't, it tried to go around. At the same time, there was a car approaching in the right lane. I assume FSD calculated there was space for me in the right lane, but it really should have just slowed down. I had to slam on the brakes and steer the car to the left to avoid the driver side of my car clipping the trucks bumper. It was way too close for comfort. I have done tens of thousands of miles on FSD and have never had anything this close happen before.show more

Got a Tesla Model Y recently. What I didn't... expect: 1. The fan "swing" mode is lovely. Like a gentle breeze sweeping across you. 2. The wireless phone charger is surprisingly weak. Generates heat but barely adds power. 3. FSD is exceptional. End-to-end driving and parking, and it feels safe. I could never buy a car without it.show more

One of my favorite things about Tesla FSD is... seeing what it unlocks for my kids. Today my Cybertruck was driving itself down the highway while my 7-year-old turned the center console into his own little racetrack. Instead of asking, “Are we there yet?” he’s completely entertained, using his imagination, and making memories. Saw a few comments about when you use FSD... you just sit there like a zombie not paying attention but it’s the complete opposite. When I use FSD my situational awareness is higher than anyone driving manually. I don’t have to hyper focus on a number on the screen or keeping my car between two lines and can focus on everything else around me. I’m surprised how distracted people are while they operate a motor vehicle.show more

This clip really showcases the difference between a human... driver and Tesla FSD. FSD sees the (stupid) person crossing the road at night and slows down for them, meanwhile a human driver from the other direction nearly runs down the pedestrian. Should the person not be crossing there? Absolutely! But that’s beside the point - the reality is pedestrians do unpredictable things, and FSD is always watching for that to happen. I've uncovered a bit more about FSD V14's behavior... in the snow. FSD has an invisible & binary "Snow Mode" where it shifts in and out of a different profile upon detection of snow-covered roads. Snow Mode is either ON or OFF. It does not appear to be a gradient based on condition severity. Example: In the video below, you can see tiny bits of snow drifting across the highway surface. Before this snow appeared, FSD drove normally (at the speed limit or above). When it saw this snow, it instantly slowed to 10-15mph under the speed limit. Then, when the snow cleared, it sped back up. It did this multiple times over a 10 mile drive: >Drive Normally >Detect Snow >Enter Snow Mode >Slow Down >Snow is gone >Exit Snow Mode >Drive Normally In this particular instance driving between various conditions, Snow Mode was unnecessary for this type of snow drifting. Pressing the accelerator or increasing the speed profile does NOT override Snow Mode. Elon said last year they may need to create different versions of FSD for different regions, driving types, and weather (Deep snow vs. Manhattan, etc). This may be our first look at that separated version of FSD that is activated under a certain condition!show more

I had the strangest critical disengagement with FSD v14.3.6... last night. FSD tried to take an exit on the highway for no reason while we were already past the ramp. I seriously think FSD is getting more dangerous as it gets better. I wasn't expecting this at all from v14. It has been incredible in those conditions, creating complacency on my part. Thankfully, I was paying attention and was able to correct it before it fully committed and drove us into a ditch, but still. Scary.show more
