Back-to-back HNL-SYD trips can be exhausting, but moments like... this make every mile worth it. Last week I brought my wife and son with me to Sydney. They stayed behind while I flew back to Honolulu, and now I’m back to pick them up. Walking into the crew hotel and seeing my son waiting to greet me like this… there’s no better feeling. I’ve got a 48-hour layover, so we’re making the most of it. First stop: lunch at Newport in the Northern Beaches with a close friend, followed by two days of family time before we head home together. When is the right time for you? - Based on your load style - Based on how long your load takes - Based on the pitcher’s velo, windup, or slide step —— If that’s you, try a “loaded at release” type load. Bobby Witt. Judge. Get your hip and elbow loaded early. Then stride with it ready to fire. “The pitcher is up there for 20 seconds telling you to get ready. Shame on you if you’re not ready to swing.” ____ If I have you in the cage, what I’ll do is have you get into a no stride position, get ready to swing and I stand there for 1-4 seconds… Holding my hand out over the plate ready to snap my fingers. When I snap, you swing. Do that 4-5x. You get the quickness, readiness feeling. Then we go back to stride with moving ball and you’re trying to time up that same GO move with the ball With your foot up in the air and the GO will make the foot go down. Not foot down then swing. Honestly, I never expected Jake to get an intro... or solo part during their performances because I’d been disappointed so many times before 😅 But in the past few award shows, he’s finally been given those opportunities ++ He used to be placed on the side or at the back, and now he’s even the center during dance breaks. Arrived on another cruise ship last night to deliver... my talk this week. I know they look fun but i honestly dread these work gigs. I hate being away from home and my routine. What’s made this worse was I didn’t get ANY sleep last night as my room appears to be next to the thrusters. (Sound on for my videos)I had noise cancelling headfones in but even they couldn’t drown out the noise. Zero sleep, one complaint later…apparently I can’t change rooms…went for lunch….same shaking noise…oh well at least it’s sunny…or B… I’m not looking for a ‘poor me’ sympathy response…but genuinely I feel like I’m over sensitive to noise these days, especially when trying to sleep. Not sure if others who have come through PTSD feel the same??? But it really unhinges me and very quickly. Burnout hit me and ohnePixel hard this year- he... stepped back from streaming, I stepped back from most of my activities as well. I am in a great spot personally, thanks to great friends and being able to stop running on autopilot. For me and Ohne to meet in Shanghai, having been partners in SkinBid and running DRILLAS whilst simultanously having struggled with the same things was a wholesome experience. My takeaway from the whole thing is a sense of community, Jesal Parekh dona and countless others who helped manage and support the project have been amazing. I did not feel like engaging in the drama, as it was evident to me that the main takeaway was that countless people enjoyed watching the journey, lots of smiles and laughter. To meet and spend time with the players was amazing. Highs and lows equally. Hope everyone will find their succes- they deserve it! Going to an RMR is always something special, this is the third for me- 2 with ECSTATIC ⚡️, meeting friends from the NA scene, familiar faces from talent and production, things like watching our game against FlyQuest with their manager and SoMe on friendly terms with mutual respect is something i LOVE- always great to connect with other teams and learn new things. I am back home, back to spending time on trading skins, ECSTATIC ⚡️ and SkinBid, lots of gratitude and encouragement from spending time with our amazing community!! & to everyone who is upset about too many EU players at the Asian RMR, I will do better next time and find a way to get 5 EU 😝!show more

For the first time in my entire life, I’m... seeing the Dead Sea. To see this view, I had to leave Gaza alone, without my family, after enduring 17 hours of interrogations by Israel. They had refused to let me leave twice before this attempt, and they wouldn’t even allow me to take a bottle of water with me. They left us without even the basic necessities for 5 hours at the Kerem Shalom crossing. Then they humiliated us, refused to let us sit on any chairs, and made us wait for buses coming from Jordan for two hours while we sat on the ground.
