Damascus Government's Armed Groups Commit Massacre Against Civilians in... Deir Hafer Countryside On Saturday evening, pro-Turkey factions affiliated with the Damascus government carried out a massacre against civilians in the village of Umm Tina, located in the Deir Hafer countryside east of Aleppo. The attack began with drone strikes, followed by heavy artillery shelling at approximately 7:00 p.m., deliberately targeting civilian homes. As a result of these barbaric attacks, seven civilians were martyred including two children and four others were wounded. The martyrs are: Amina Muhammad al-Azzawi (75 years old) Fatima Hayya Ubaid (65 years old) Amina Muhammad al-Hamza (22 years old) Aisha Hamza Ubaid (18 years old) Hamza Ubaid al-Razzaq (4 years old) Abdul Ghani Rahman al-Ubaid (1 year old) Rahaf Hussein al-Azzawi (23 years old) The wounded are: Jumaa Hamoud al-Muhaisen (60 years old) Maryam Hamoud al-Muhaisen (55 years old) Halima Mahmoud al-Muhaisen (65 years old) Amina Hamoud al-Amoura (20 years old) We strongly condemn this heinous crime, which reflects the systematic policy pursued by these factions for years to deliberately target innocent civilians. We reaffirm that the absence of accountability has only emboldened the perpetrators to repeat such grave violations. SDF Media Center September 20, 2025show more

The California Legislature thinks you are safer when convicted... child molesters who were sentenced to hundreds of years behind bars are let out of prison early. Not because they have been rehabilitated. But because they turned 50 years old. Under California’s elder parole law, even convicted sex offenders are eligible to be released from prison after serving 20 years of their sentence and they have turned 50 years old. AB 47, a bi-partisan bill authored by Stephanie Nguyen(D-Sacramento) and co-authored by Juan Alanis (R-Modesto), fought to keep convicted sex offenders out of our communities and behind the bars. AB 47 would have required sex offenders to have served at least 25 continuous years in prison and be at least 65 years old before being eligible for elderly parole. But the California Legislature killed the bill on Friday. And as a result sex offenders across California will be eligible for release – after just 20 years and they are 50 years old. That means Matthew Zakrzewski, a male nanny from Costa Mesa who was sentenced to 707 years to life for molesting 16 boys as young as 2 years old and providing child pornography to a 17th boy, will be eligible for parole after just 20 years in custody when he turns 50. That’s in 14 years. During the Assembly Public Safety Committee hearing on AB 47, Assemblymember Tom Lackey (R-Palmdale) said he couldn’t understand why the was even debating letting “the worst of the worst” out early when a judge had heard all of the evidence and sentenced a defendant based on the evidence. There are some people who just aren’t capable of being rehabilitated, Lackey argued. We couldn’t agree more. Californians aren’t safer when sex offenders are let out of prison early. They are safer when convicted sex offenders are behind bars serving the sentence they earned by the crimes they committed. 🎬 In Moscow, a documentary about North Koreans who... liberated the town of Sudzha in Kursk Oblast from occupation was shown for the first time. The premiere of the film "Korean Special Forces" took place at the Museum of Victory. The documentary showed the training of North Korean special forces in the forests of Kursk, and the process of learning how to work with UAVs. On the walls of the dugouts were drawings of fallen soldiers who blew themselves up with a grenade. "To be captured means betrayal in our army," a soldier says in the film. According to Vedomosti, after the screening, the DPRK side presented its documentary, filmed by North Korean war correspondents in Sudzha. It told the stories of some of the deceased: Pak Chun-guk, 18 years old "Seeing his comrades who came to rescue him after being wounded in the arm and leg fall under enemy fire, he shouted: "Don't come near!" and died heroically, detonating a grenade." Yun Jong-hyok, 20 years old, and U Wi-hyok, 19 years old "While rescuing the bodies of comrades who fell in battle, they were seriously wounded. Surrounded by the enemy, they embraced and died heroically together, detonating a grenade." Rim Hong-nam, 20 years old "While carrying out a mission to clear the way and demine, and seeing that the time of the attack was approaching, he threw himself onto a minefield and paved the way with his body, dying a heroic death." Kim Hak-chol, 32 years old "When his comrades came to rescue him after he fell from an enemy drone strike, he exclaimed: "Complete the combat mission of the unit!" - and, shooting himself in the head with a machine gun, he died heroically in battle." Kim Chol-gi, 38 years old "Even after his arm was torn off as a result of an enemy drone attack, he did not leave the battlefield and fought bravely. Then he shielded his comrades from machine-gun fire with his body, saved them, and died heroically in battle." Ro Nam-sok, 41 years old "When the attack was thwarted by enemy machine-gun fire, he, clutching a grenade, began to approach the enemy firing point. Having received 16 bullet wounds that shattered his arms and legs, he nevertheless fought to the end, destroyed the firing point, and died heroically in battle." - FRWLshow more

I want to put it on the record that... I am not the only one saying public infrastructure has collapsed due to corruption in Zimbabwe’s government. Meet Justice Loice Matanda-Moyo. She is a Zimbabwean judge, former head of the Zimbabwean Anti-Corruption Commission, and is currently the head of Zimbabwe’s National Prosecution Service. Here, she says Zimbabwe is in trouble because of corruption. She states that it remains one of the major barriers preventing Zimbabwe from succeeding as an economy and is causing its public infrastructure to deteriorate. Justice Loice Matanda-Moyo specifically mentions the collapse of public health and schools and points out that corruption is the root cause. She goes on to say that government figures estimate the loss of revenue due to corruption at US$1.8 billion. We know that it is more but let us work with the government’s own figure of US$1.8 billion. All of Zimbabwe’s central/referral hospitals need only US$60 million a year to run smoothly without any shortages. US$1.8 billion could run Zimbabwe’s central hospitals for thirty years. US$1.8 billion could build 1,800 kilometres of tarred road from scratch. Out of Zimbabwe’s six central hospitals, five were built by the colonial governments. The only central hospital built by ZANUPF is Chitungwiza, which was an upgrade. US$1.8 billion could build seven central hospitals like Parirenyatwa or Sally Mugabe Hospital with a capacity of 1,800 beds. South Africa is building Tygerberg Central Hospital in the Western Cape for US$260 million. It is way advanced than Zimbabwean hospitals which were built over decades ago. Sally Mugabe Hospital is 117 years old, Parirenyatwa is 72 years old, Mpilo Hospital is 82 years old, UBH is 85 years old, and Ingutsheni is 117 years old. Chitungwiza is 42 years old; it was upgraded to a central hospital 18 years ago. These are Zimbabwe’s central/referral hospitals. ZANUPF has never built a single central hospital from the ground, it only upgraded Chitungwiza. This is what corruption has done to Zimbabwe in the words of Justice Loice Matanda-Moyo who heads Zimbabwe’s National Prosecution Service and is the former head of the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission and was also a High Court Judge.show more

Today, we will limit ourselves to what Prince Saud... al-Faisal—may God have mercy on him—said many years ago when he addressed Israel: “You came by force, but you cannot remain by force.” It is a single sentence, yet it sums up everything. Some might say: These are old words. And we say: Yes, they are old. As old as principles that never change. As old as a truth that does not lapse with the passage of time. And as old as Saudi policy, which knows neither capriciousness nor mood swings nor the language of threats. We do not need new statements every time a storm blows. We have an archive of wisdom. We open it when needed. And we close the file. Those who understand, understand. And those who do not understand—history will explain to them what they failed to grasp today.show more

Misleading Information Issued by the “Ministry of Defense” Our... forces categorically reject and deny the misleading claims issued by the so-called “Ministry of Defense” of the Damascus government regarding alleged military movements or deployments of our forces on the Deir Hafer front. We affirm that no unusual movements or preparations have taken place. It is clarified that the gatherings observed were limited to civilians from northern and eastern Syria, who had assembled solely to receive the wounded arriving from Sheikh Maqsoud and al-Ashrafiyah. On the contrary, the area has been witnessing intensive flights of Turkish drones , including Bayraktar and Akinci , in addition to suicide drone attacks and artillery shelling targeting the city of Deir Hafer and its surrounding villages, as well as the Thawra Field area. These developments raise serious concerns and suspicions. We present these facts to the public. Furthermore, we share with the public documented images showing the remnants of projectiles from Turkish Bayraktar drones that targeted one of the facilities in the Maskanah area. Al-Qaeda Releases Documentary Marking Five Years of Taliban Rule... in Afghanistan Today, Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) released a new documentary marking the fifth anniversary of the Taliban’s return to power in Afghanistan on August 15th. The documentary features former Al-Qaeda commander Khurram Saeed Kiyani, also known as Haji Qasim. Kiyani was killed in a U.S. drone strike in Zabul Province in 2017. He was an active commander within Al-Qaeda’s network in Pakistan. Before joining Al-Qaeda, he was also affiliated with Al-Badr Mujahideen (ABM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and fought in Kashmir. AQIS’s decision to release the documentary on the anniversary of the Taliban’s return to power is not at all suprising. Al-Qaeda is not simply celebrating a Taliban victory. It is celebrating the return of the safe haven it lost after September 11, 2001. Since the fall of Kabul in 2021, the Taliban has continued to harbor multiple components of Al-Qaeda inside Afghanistan, including not just AQIS, but Al-Qaeda Central, including the group’s senior Shura and military commissions, and Al-Qaeda’s Afghanistan branch, a newer branch that has taken shape over the past several years. That is what makes August 15th worth celebrating for Al-Qaeda. The Taliban’s return to power did more than put an old ally back in Kabul. It gave Al-Qaeda its safe haven back. The family is all together again.show more

⚡️🇵🇸BREAKING: Press Statement Issued by the Government Media Office:... The occupation army has unleashed hell on civilians, destroying 1,600 residential buildings and 13,000 tents, and forcibly displacing 350,000 people from eastern Gaza to its center and west. ➤ The Government Media Office strongly condemns the ongoing Israeli occupation army’s brutal targeting of Gaza City and its residential neighborhoods. This comes as part of systematic policies of destruction, genocide, ethnic cleansing, and forced displacement carried out since the ground invasion began on August 11, 2025, and continues to this day. ➤ Contrary to the claims of Israeli “Defense Minister Yoav Gallant” that “the gates of hell in Gaza have been opened on the resistance and the army’s operations will escalate against it,” the reality is the opposite: the occupation deliberately unleashes fire on defenseless civilians, hundreds of thousands of children, women, and the elderly, destroying homes, hospitals, schools, mosques, and tents, in blatant violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions, while justifying ongoing genocide, ethnic cleansing, and forced displacement. ➤ The occupation has committed large-scale destruction, including the complete demolition of more than 1,600 multi-story residential towers and buildings, and severe damage to more than 2,000 others. Over 13,000 tents sheltering displaced people were also destroyed. Since the beginning of September 2025 alone, the occupation has demolished 70 towers and residential buildings completely, severely damaged 120 more, and destroyed over 3,500 tents. ➤ These towers and buildings contained more than 10,000 housing units accommodating over 50,000 residents. The tents destroyed sheltered over 52,000 displaced people. In total, the occupation has demolished shelters and tents that housed more than 100,000 individuals, forcing the displacement of over 350,000 civilians from eastern Gaza neighborhoods to the city center and west, clearly reflecting the deliberate commission of war crimes through a policy of systematic ethnic cleansing and genocide. ➤ Administratively, Gaza City consists of several major neighborhoods and camps, including: Al-Shuja’iya, Al-Zaytoun, Al-Tuffah, Al-Daraj, Al-Rimal North, Al-Rimal South, Tel al-Hawa, Sheikh Radwan, Al-Sabra, Al-Nasr, Al-Shati Camp, Sheikh Ajlin—each of which contains subdivisions such as Al-Shuja’iya’s Harazin, Turkman, and Al-Muntar, among others. ➤ By presenting these facts to the world, the Government Media Office affirms that the Israeli occupation deliberately targets civilians, their homes, and their places of displacement, committing genocide, ethnic cleansing, and forced displacement in a clear and systematic manner, in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions. The office calls on the international community to act urgently to stop these crimes and provide protection for defenseless civilians.show more

Syrian forces have released dozens of children from the... SDF run al-Aqtan prison in Raqqa after taking control of the facility, with footage showing malnourished boys running out of the gates and sprinting towards freedom. The children described being starved, placed in solitary confinement, doused with water, whipped and electrocuted, with one 15 year old sentenced to seven years in prison and a 9 year old also seen in the footage. The SDF was previously known as the YPG, which rebranded as the Syrian Democratic Forces under a US strategy amid scrutiny over its conduct and links to terrorism. The controversial group is widely regarded as the Syrian arm of the PKK, a group designated as terrorists by the US, UK, EU and Turkey. It consists predominantly of Kurdish and Armenian fighters, and has long been aligned with US and Israeli interests in Syria, including controlling oil rich regions in the country’s northeast. The US has now largely ended its backing of the SDF as its role in Syria is said to have “largely expired” and Washington shifts support toward Damascus under a new ceasefire and integration framework with the Syrian government.show more
