Dragojevic v Tugay What a difference it makes having... a midfielder with legs, running forward, zipping diags & taking hits from outside the box. Best goal of it's type i've witnessed in person since this from Tugay, bettered by his not bouncing before but absolutely loved it. 1. Jonas Thern v Celtic 2. Dragojevic Yesterday 3. I’m still not convinced by this argument that Messi... is ‘not as good 1 v 1 from a static standpoint’. I remember both Evra and Cole struggling against him. I guess if you’re trying to say when he’s in full flow he’s even more unstoppable I kind of get it but usually he starts from a static position and then injects momentum before going onto beat 3/4!? 🤷🏻♂️show more

An Oldie but a Goldie. Approach ➜ Power V... One of the biggest keys to a consistent swing is what happens from approach to Power V. As the knob turns toward the pitcher and into the path of the pitch, the barrel naturally falls behind your hands. We don’t need to flick it back to have it fall behind..DUH From there, don’t throw the barrel at the ball. Release it in the most direct line along the path of the pitch. Some pitches require a slightly steeper path. Others require a flatter one. But the goal stays the same: ✔️ Keep the barrel below your hands through extension. Approach = The barrel works to the side of the shoulder as the body turns toward the pitcher. Power V = The release of the lag and extension of the barrel through the baseball. Master that section of the swing, and you’ll give yourself a much better chance to create consistent contact, adjust to different pitch planes, and produce real power. Train with an expert, not an influencer.show more

Daniel Jones took a leap in multiple ways last... year, but the most notable: Pocket manipulation. There's a night and day difference b/w where he was in 2019-21 v 22-23. There's a calmness to how he now maneuvers w/in a pocket, specifically when under a quick pressure from a stunt up front. It was a bigger part of why the #Giants won games last year than most realize. He turned would-be negative dropbacks into +EV plays w/ his legs. Then he started doing it more w/ his arm and eyes (keeping his head up, downfield). This play is a great EX. Glowinski blows the stunt for early pressure. No panic from DJ. Weaves into his lane, checks w/ his eyes for a WR then takes the best option - a positive gain w/ his legs.show more

While I have premium I definitely want to do... a long post breaking down the main scene from this show that I obsess with. There's so much that I feel could be learned from it. Not just for expansion animators either. There's honestly a LOT that can be learned from how this show directed its expansion scenes that can be applied to even safe for work animations. Obviously yes, the expansion alone is really good. What makes it so good though is just the fact that there's things you pick up on that you likely don't even realize until you re-watch. I'm using this scene as an example as it's not AS good I would say, but it still has a lot going for it. One thing I've always loved from it that I want to use in my own animations someday is that the expansion sort of comes in waves as opposed to one consistent growth. In a way, it makes it feel more natural while also selling how tight the top is getting. It could have been accompanied by showing the knot getting tighter or smaller with each growth. It's a small part of the animation but just that one thing already adds another layer to appreciate. It's not like most expansion scenes where there's very little outside of just "growing" on its own. There's a bunch of little things that subtly improve it without being obnoxious. The first expansion scene has WAY more that I want to talk about honestly. Far more than this one has. It will probably be a really long post now that I think about it...show more

NEW WORLD MODEL: Yann LeCun's team is back with... an efficient model! This project involves Yann LeCun, Lukas Kuhn, Lucas Maes, Quentin Le Lidec, and Randall Balestriero. A couple definitions first: - DINO: self-DIstillation with NO labels. A self-supervised image model (Meta, 2021) where a student network learns to match a teacher (an EMA copy of itself) across two crops of the same image, with no labels and no negatives. - SIGReg: a regularizer that prevents embedding collapse by forcing the embeddings to match an isotropic Gaussian, tested with a normality test (Epps–Pulley) on many random 1-D projections instead of in full dimension. LeVJEPA is a self-supervised video pretraining method, released with open code, weights, and checkpoints. It learns a video representation by pushing the embeddings of global and local crops of the same clip together (an invariance loss), while a regularizer called SIGReg forces the embeddings toward an isotropic Gaussian to provably prevent representation collapse. Unlike V-JEPA and V-JEPA 2 it uses a single shared encoder with a projector and no target network, no predictor and no stop-gradient. It drops 95% of tokens per view, uses block-causal attention (each frame attends only to past frames), and has a single loss weight. It is evaluated purely as a representation learner via frozen probing on ImageNet-1K, Something-Something-v2 and Kinetics-400, not on any robot. What I find interesting, is that V-JEPA and V-JEPA 2 need an EMA target encoder, stop-gradients and a capacity-limited predictor to avoid collapse; LeVJEPA drops all of it for one shared encoder plus projector, preventing collapse instead with the SIGReg regularizer under a provable guarantee and a single hyperparameter. The "P" (predictor) in JEPA is effectively gone. LeVJEPA is also less compute intensive: - 5.6x to 20.8x lower total pretraining compute than V-JEPA 2 - 7.6 points higher on ImageNet-1K at matched FLOPs - trains at batch size 128 within 8GB where V-JEPA 2 saturates at batch size 28 Also worth mentioning: ImageNet-1K accuracy rises monotonically with the token-drop rate, from 33.9% at rho = 0 to 47.6% at rho = 0.95. The aggressive dropping is actually doing regularization work. On the JEPA-versus-DINO debate: - it loses to DINOv2 by 3.1 points on ImageNet-1K (appearance, static) - but wins on Something-Something-v2 by nearly 2x (motion, temporal) - and beats V-JEPA 2 by 1.9 points on ViT-L at 5.6x lower cost. -> optimized for temporal and motion understanding per compute dollar.show more

This is the one puff that changed it all.... It caused Tesla stock to fall -9% the next day (stock is up multiples from that day), made Elon get drug tested by NASA randomly for 3 years (he passed all tests) and opened the floodgates for mainstream media to make this man look like a drug addict to cocaine, LSD, ecstasy, mushrooms, and ketamine (AKA WSJ, which often lies to get clicks & has alternative motives). But in fact, this is the furthest from the truth. Elon is NOT a drug addict, he just took one puff of marijuana with his buddy Joe Rogan on a podcast, he was having a good time. Plus it’s just weed for crying out loud, it’s proven to be less harmful than alcohol. On top of this, he has the whole world on his shoulders with immense pressure to make the future better through his companies’ products that no other company is attempting. Don’t believe what mainstream media is running with, bc they are just chasing clicks & ad $, NOT the truth. Let Elon’s actions & results speak for itself, NOT what others portray him to be. He’s a real man, with a kind heart, with honest intentions, & is fighting for a brighter future, and if he wants to live it up every now and then, so be it.show more

If diabetes is the joke, what is the punchline?... Gracie was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 1, not through eating too many sweets or chocolate but because her body decided to attack the cells of the pancreas. Unfortunately Easter is normally a prime time for jokes from all sorts of people linking indulgence and sweets with the condition. Jokes are often seen as harmless, however they perpetuate the stigma and misunderstanding of serious conditions, in this case diabetes. Diabetes in general is a condition where a person is unable to handle the breakdown products of carbohydrates (sugar) in a way a non-diabetic person would. This is important because the cells in our body rely on sugar to get energy, but this has to be done in a controlled way. People with diabetes have an issue with insulin specifically. There are many different types of diabetes including gestational diabetes, which is seen in pregnancy, and steroid induced diabetes, which is brought on by medications. The two most well-known types however are type 1 and type 2. What doesn’t cause diabetes is eating too much chocolate! It ranges from your genetics to viral loads and even your vitamin D levels! In 2012, diabetes in total was the direct cause of 1.5 million deaths globally. Often, it can be deadly before you’ve even released you are diabetic! What is more worrying when seeing public figures making jokes about diabetes is that there is increasing evidence of significant mental health concerns within children with type 1 diabetes with nearly 40% of type 1 diabetic children seeking assistance from mental health support teams. Gracie has completely owned her condition, playing sports and even going on TV. Diabetes hasn't stopped her doing anything she wants and won't stop her from eating chocolate eggs today! #foryou #fyp #chocolate #diabetes #type1diabetes #type2diabetes #Easter #easteregg #ysk #easteregg #t1d #type1warriorshow more

🚨 I TOLD YOU THIS WAS COMING! Absolute bloodbath:... $2,880,000,000,000 wiped out from the US stock market in just 2 HOURS Let that number sink in. Two TRILLION dollars. Gone! In the time it takes to watch a movie. And if you've been following me, none of this surprises you. Because I told you that S&P 500 was walking into a trap. No panic. Just the setup, laid out in plain sight. Today the trap snapped shut. So let me remind you WHY it's happening, in 3 forces: Stacked on top of each other. Every 4 years 1. THE PRESIDENTIAL CYCLE Year 1-2 is always pain. Tax hikes, budget cuts, "cleaning up the last guy's mess." We're standing in the pain right now. 2. THE MIDTERM TRAP 15 out of the last 16 midterm years, the market bled from May to October. A 93.75% hit rate since 1962. Big money knows it. So they sell in May and hold cash through the summer. Guess what month we just walked out of. 3. THE FED'S TIMING PROBLEM The Fed always hikes early, so it has room to cut before re-election. Translation: midterm year always lands at peak rates. Exactly when the economy can't take it. Now stack 2026 on top: ➮ Inflation at a 3-year high ➮ 10Y yield breaking 4.50% ➮ Mortgage rates pushing 7% This wasn't a forecast. It was a setup hiding in plain sight, and today it paid out in $2.8 TRILLION of other people's money The next few days are going to get violent. But don't worry. That's exactly what I'm here for. Like it or not, I've called the exact market tops and bottoms for 11 years My system flags the moment the market shifts from caution to DANGER You will be warned before it hits, like always. Not following me will be your #1 mistake of 2026, soon you'll understand whyshow more

Not my usual work spot, but definitely one of... the best ;) Spent the week around the #Greek islands on #yacht belonging to a family friend/mentor. Your first impression may be “the top is in” 🤪 but this person has spent years building sustainable businesses, not just in #web3, but various industries. Some lessons I learned from him: 1. The value of surrounding yourself with incredible individuals and garnering hands on experiences. “You’re the a average of the 5 people you surround yourself with”. 2. Work may be hard to pause at times, especially as an #entrepreneur. But taking a break doesn’t have to mean switching off. It can just mean switching the scene. 3. Find industries that function well in bear markets, maintain perspective, and diversity your portfolio. New wave of #inspiration and #innovation coming in 🫶🏽show more

“You simp over Rahul Gandhi.” Yeah. Because this country... spent over a decade and an unimaginable amount of money manufacturing a caricature called ‘Pappu.’ Not by debating his politics. Not by engaging with his arguments. But by reducing an entire human being to a punchline until people stopped questioning where that image came from. And it worked. Millions of Indians genuinely came to believe that a man with an academic background, years of public life, and documented policy positions was simply an idiot- because that’s what relentless political branding does. So yes, if women are now openly saying, “Actually, I like this man. I like the way he speaks. I like the way he listens. I like the respect with which he treats women. I like the emotional maturity he brings to politics,” then so be it. In a country where politics has been built around hypermasculinity, mockery and domination, how a leader makes women feel is not a frivolous question. It’s a political one. Because women know the difference between a man who needs to be feared and a man who makes you feel heard. If that helps undo a decade of manufactured propaganda, I have absolutely no problem with it. And the Pune girlies agree with me💞show more

The Somali President walked into the mosque in Eastleigh's... BBS Mall with his entourage, wearing their shoes. Imagine if a non-Muslim leader had done the same; the reaction from Muslims in Kenya and beyond would likely be far more severe. President Hassan Sheikh's actions have garnered some criticism on social media, but not as much as one might expect. It raises the question of whether there's a difference between shoes worn by a Muslim person and a non-Muslim, especially since shoes are categorically forbidden in mosques. This incident underscores the importance of respecting religious practices and the perception of actions based on the faith of those who commit them.show more

Nancy Guthrie To be clear, what is Most interesting... about Porch Guy using the fresh vines he pulled to assist him with removing the Nest Camera shows his Inexperience with: 1-Wearing what appears to be double layered gloves meaning, Porch Guy did not realize how double layered gloves would affect his ability to grip and do the job at hand. He knew they would protect his DNA . He didn't know they would impede his ability to remove that camera because he had never removed a camera with gloved hand before. 2-Removing Nest cameras from mounts. If he had experience, he would have realized how difficult it would be to grip and pull from the bracket. Porch Guy planned and prepared, but this abduction was his first rodeo. Many of us in LE surmised this from the beginning based on his actions. This supports that conclusion. This isn't to say his planning didn't pay off. It did. But I am convinced now more that ever that he was a smart rookie having never committed a crime like this before. V TYPE 非: What Does Kim Taehyung's Creative Direction... Mean? The announcement of the V TYPE 非 photobook highlighted a detail that defines the significance of this work: the artist actively participated in every stage, “from planning to photography.” But what does this mean in practice? A Creative Director is responsible for conceiving, organizing, and guiding the artistic vision of a project. Their role is not to technically execute all the steps, but to define the “why,” the “how,” and the “what for” of each aesthetic and narrative choice. They act as a true ARCHITECT OF IDEAS, ensuring that concept, image, narrative, and emotion work together. They ensure that the project has soul, identity, and coherence, aligning all the professionals involved — photographers, designers, stylists, costume designers, set designers, and editors — in a single creative direction. IN GENERAL, KIM TAEHYUNG: • Created the central concept • Defined the visual and emotional narrative • Established artistic and symbolic references (art, fashion, cinema, photography, music, architecture, etc.) • Guided the aesthetic language (atmosphere, light, palette, rhythm, textures) • Determined the tone of the project (intimate, experimental, documentary, symbolic) • Established the visual rhythm: order of images, pauses, silences • Guided framing, expressions, poses, and atmospheres • Coordinated and aligned the creative teams • Ensured coherence and identity from beginning to end • Conceived the Photobook as an artistic object: paper, cover, typography, weight, and texture. Taehyung is the guardian of the artistic vision. The result is a cohesive visual discourse, where each image exists for a reason. THE CREATIVE DIRECTOR IN THE PHOTOBOOK EXHIBITION In the exhibition, the creative director expands the photobook into physical space, transforming it into an immersive experience. The purpose is not just to show photos: it's to make the public traverse the concept. HERE, KIM TAEHYUNG ACTS IN: • Curating the exhibited images • Defining the public's path • Building the spatial narrative (beginning, climax, ending) • Dialogue between images, space, light, and silence • Choosing formats, sizes, and layouts • Integrating sensory elements (sound, text, architecture, rhythm) • Ensuring that the exhibition preserves the original concept of the photobook. In a market where many artists merely lend their image, Taehyung reaffirms his role as an author. “TYPE 非” is not just a record of his image, it is the materialization of his artistic sensibility. It is the signature of someone who not only participates in the work — he builds the work. In a photobook and its exhibition, Kim Tarhyung directs the experience, the reading, and the memory that the public will take with them. V TYPE 非 IS COMING!!! #V_TYPE非show more

some reflections from wonbin during recent fansigns... lately, he’s... been so vulnerable about his growth and journey since debut. it’s heart-wrenching yet so meaningful to see him open up about his worries like this. during the fansign yesterday, he asked, “what i want to say might sound boring, but since you’ve seen me for a long time, what do you think of me now? am i different? have i changed?” he was clearly looking for reassurance from a fan who has been there since day one. he brought it up again during today’s fansign. he mentioned that while there are many new briize, he was specifically curious about the thoughts of the fans who have been watching him since debut. it’s clear how much he values the perspective of those who’ve witnessed his growth. wonbin… if the path you were taking was wrong, i wouldn’t love you this much, so please don't worry! seeing him so introspective only proves how much he cares about his sincerity. he hasn’t changed, he just continues to grow into the person we were always so proud to support 🩷show more

Most cameras record the world. They don't understand it.... 👁️ Meet Trio-Lumen — point it at any RTSP feed and just tell it what to look for in plain English (e.g., "flag anyone in the loading dock after hours"). It runs frontier vision models 24/7, turning raw video into a live, queryable world-state: who's where, what they're doing, and where they're heading. 🧠 Under the hood, Trio is the world model we are building for the physical world (perceive → represent → predict): 🔹 Perceive (The Eyes): Plug in any frontier model (YOLO, DINOv2, V-JEPA) to extract data from pixels. 🔹 Represent (The Brain): Outputs land in Trio-Retina (open-source), organizing raw video into one structured, queryable database. 🔹 Predict (The Intuition): A dynamics head that learns the patterns of your space to anticipate what comes next. This is how AI actually connects to the physical world: not as a black box, but by making reality readable. Stop watching your video feeds and start talking to them. Try it out here 👇show more
