🚨 Drones + Helicopters = Dangerous and Illegal 🚨... Yesterday around 3:40 p.m., a drone was filmed flying directly above a LifeFlight helicopter as it landed at Primary Children’s Hospital to transport a critically ill child. Because the drone was spotted, all air operations had to stop until the area was cleared — causing a completely preventable delay in life-saving care. Flying a drone near emergency helicopters is extremely dangerous and illegal. A collision could be catastrophic, damaging rotor blades and putting patients, flight crews, and people on the ground at risk. Those responsible will be prosecuted and could face stiff fines or jail time. ⚠️ What you need to know: 🚁 Drones near hospitals, helipads, wildfires, or emergency scenes force helicopters to ground, stopping critical missions 💥 Drone–helicopter collisions have happened and can be deadly ⚖️ Flying a drone near aircraft is a federal offense, not just a citation 📏 Drones should not be flown within ¾ mile (1.4 km) of a helipad without FAA approval ⛔ If you see or hear a helicopter, land your drone immediately and move awayshow more

BIG | 🇷🇺‼️ Russia is installing massive cage-like anti-drone... structures around oil depots and refineries in an effort to strengthen protection against kamikaze drone strikes. 🔹 These barriers are intended to serve as a final physical layer of defense, stopping incoming drones before they can directly hit fuel storage tanks and other vulnerable infrastructure. The move reflects how seriously repeated drone attacks are affecting Russian energy security. Physical cages may reduce damage from some low-flying drones, but they are only a last-resort measure and do not replace effective air defense, electronic warfare, or early detection. BREAKING: Today, a Ukrainian Air Force MiG-29 9.13 successfully... intercepted and shot down a Russian Geran-4 jet-powered one-way attack drone. Rare footage shows the MiG-29 intercepting and chasing the Geran-4 at extremely low altitude. In the left-hand footage, the fighter can be seen pursuing the drone close to the ground, while the right-hand footage captures the successful engagement and the MiG-29 subsequently flying over the burning wreckage of the destroyed drone. It is not yet known whether the Geran-4 was destroyed with an air-to-air missile or the MiG-29’s 30mm GSh-30-1 cannon. The interception comes as Russia is sharply increasing its use of faster, jet-powered Geran variants against Ukraine.show more

BREAKING 🚨ROMANIAN PRESIDENT CONFIRMS: UKRAINIAN AIR DEFENCE REDIRECTED DRONE... INTO ROMANIAN CITY OF GALAȚI, WOUNDING CIVILIANS 🇷🇴🔥🇺🇦🇷🇺 A drone struck a residential apartment building in the Romanian city of Galați, near the Ukrainian border, wounding several civilians. Romania’s President has now confirmed that Ukrainian air defence systems redirected the drone, causing it to hit Romanian territory. This is extremely dangerous and reckless. Whether intentional or a “mistake,” Ukraine’s actions have now directly endangered a NATO country and injured innocent Romanian civilians. The war is spilling over borders and putting the lives of people in neighboring countries at risk. We Slavs and Romanians have zero interest in being dragged into a bigger conflict because of Ukrainian or Western escalation. This incident proves why peace talks are urgently needed instead of pouring more fuel on the fire. Sovereignty first. No more European war.show more

A drone of "unknown origin" was reportedly shot down... by US forces in Erbil Kurdistan (northern Iraq) that can be seen in multiple videos landing in the Zin City area (northeast) or Erbil. I've seen several social media accounts claiming it impacted near the local US Consulate. I spent a lot of time operating in and around Erbil and the Consulate in my younger days and Zin City is roughly 3 miles as the crow flies from the Consulate and, for a city the size of Erbil, it's no where near the Consulate. It's the American equivalent of saying something that came down in mid-town Manhattan impacted near Brooklyn. Just figured I'd add a little "on the ground" knowledge to the breaking story since I can.... 👌🏽 #drone #erbil #USConsulateshow more

In January 2020, a medical helicopter transporting a donor... heart crashed on the rooftop helipad of Keck Hospital at USC during its landing. The impact happened directly above operating rooms and intensive care units, just as staff were preparing for a critical transplant. With donor hearts only viable for a short period outside the body, time was of the essence. Hospital staff immediately activated emergency protocols upon realizing a helicopter had crashed above them. Despite the tragedy of the pilot losing his life, first responders were able to retrieve the donor heart from the wreckage and bring it safely inside, allowing the transplant to move forward. The crash led to temporary disruptions in the hospital as the rooftop helipad was closed for structural assessments and federal officials carried out their investigation. Ultimately, while the pilot did not survive, the donor heart was successfully delivered and used in the life-saving procedure.show more

This video was posted by Russian propagandists today. A... Russian drone is adjusting a fire with four guided thermobaric bombs on the position of one of our brigades near the village of Lyptsi, a key village on the approaches to Kharkiv. The small landing is literally demolished by powerful explosions, and the hits are very accurate. After this strike, with the help of a drone adjustment, a Russian assault group went to assault the landing site. They were supported from above by a drone that dropped grenades. And even in such difficult conditions and after such strikes, a group of Ukrainian soldiers survived. And they, all shell-shocked, did not run away or surrender. A few Ukrainians dug themselves out of the trenches completely covered with earth, got up, and suddenly met the Russian assault group with aimed fire. Ukrainian heroes withstand a high density of enemy strikes, they fight to the death for every meter of land near Kharkiv and do everything possible and impossible. They know that they will not be covered from the air, they know they will have to equip their positions on the front line themselves with shovels, they know that the enemy has a lot of force. But they are Ukrainians, and behind them is Kharkiv, and next to them are their brothers-in-arms, who are fighting and also repelling all Russian attacks. We need to destroy Russian aircraft on Russian territory. We need to save our Warrior Heroes.show more

ok so now China is sending entire drone fleets... to aid the Nepal-China mudslide disaster you’ve seen everywhere this week (at least 955 people have died and 4,800+ are still missing) and the way they’re using these drones is incredible: > the giant ones are DJI FC200 cargo drones, basically remotely piloted flying cranes that can lift up to 440 pounds > they hover above raging rivers and lower firefighters on long cables into places completely cut off from the ground > the pilot controls everything through a live camera feed, so the drone never needs anywhere to land > 4 FC200s can even synchronize and lift more than 1,300 pounds together > smaller drones build 3D maps and scan the mud for body heat > cargo drones keep food, raincoats, and rescue equipment moving after the roads disappear > Wing Loong drones circle overhead as flying cell towers > other drones hover as giant floodlights, plugged into generators below so they can stay up all night it’s basically a complete emergency-response system assembled in the skyshow more

LEONARDO, also called LEO, was built by researchers at... Caltech’s Center for Autonomous Systems and Technologies. Its full name means LEgs ONboARD drOne. The idea is simple but unusual: • Build a small biped robot • Give it drone-style thrust • Use the legs for ground contact • Use the propellers for balance and lift • Combine walking, hopping and flying in one system LEO is basically a hybrid between a walking robot and a flying drone. How it was built: • Two lightweight legs • Three actuated joints in each leg • Four propeller thrusters near the shoulders • A lightweight body • Leg motors for ground movement • Propellers for balance, lift and aerial control • Real-time control software that synchronizes the legs and propellers How it walks: • The legs move the robot forward • The feet touch the ground like a normal biped • The propellers constantly correct balance from above • The robot can stay upright even in unstable situations • The thrust reduces the risk of falling during difficult motions How it flies: • The legs stop being the main locomotion system • The four propellers generate lift • The robot behaves more like a drone • It can take off, fly over obstacles and land back on its legs What makes it different: • It does not walk like a normal humanoid • It does not fly like a normal drone • It blends both systems • The legs handle contact with the ground • The propellers act like fast stabilizers • The control system decides how much help comes from the legs and how much comes from thrust That is why LEO can: • Walk • Hop • Fly over obstacles • Ride a skateboard • Balance on a slackline The key idea is walking with aerial stabilization.show more

Leftist Purav Jha saw a helicopter flying in the... sky and recorded a video of the helicopter and posted it on his Instagram story, asking why the helicopter is flying but its blades look stopped and why they don't appear to be spinning. This is the same Purav Jha who supported the CJP protest and made several videos in support of it, but he himself is not educated and has no knowledge of science, otherwise he would not have uploaded such a story. Actually, the helicopter's blades are spinning, but they can appear stopped from the ground or on camera because of the stroboscopic effect/aliasing. When the speed of the blades matches the timing of what our eyes or the camera are able to perceive, the blades can appear stationary even though they are spinning rapidly. People like Purav Jha are themselves uneducated, but they come to lecture others on every topic.show more

🚨MILITARY OP?: Drone Caught on Camera Matches Shot Origin... Based On Audio Crack-Boom Analysis —Military Spy Plane That Launches Drones Caught Flying Over UVU —Remember when I said there were drones overhead at UVU the day Charlie Kirk was shot? Well… things are getting even weirder. It turns out the crack–boom sound analysis actually puts the shot origin in the same area where a drone was spotted. In this video, you can see it yourself — only 2 frames, but clear enough. (I circled them for you.) Even crazier: John Cullen 🐓 has exposed that the U.S. military made two flights over Charlie’s event that day with a spy plane specifically designed to launch drones. The plot thickens. At this point, all signs seem to keep pointing toward a possible military or intelligence operation rather than some random act. I’m not claiming to have all the answers yet, but we need to be asking hard questions — and digging deeper.show more

Americans are not ready to watch sons and daughters... hunted by FPV drones. Some may not like this post, and that’s OK. Some may see this as being a “panican,” and that is also OK. My tolerance for American blood being spilled is very, very low. But this needs to be said: If you have paid any attention to the war in Ukraine, you will know how drone warfare has escalated. You will have an understanding of the sophistication of the Ukrainians and Russians in their pursuit of hunting and killing each other with human-guided robots strapped with explosives. We know Russia and Iran share military ties; hell, the most common form of long-range standoff munition used to target Ukrainian infrastructure is an Iranian-designed Shahed drone. Now, are the Iranians as sophisticated as the Russians? No. But will a ground action result in grainy videos of Americans being hit by FPV drones? Almost certainly. Could the deployment of ground forces to the Gulf be a feint? Sure, it could be, but this point extends beyond Iran. The U.S. needs to be ready to counter the drone menace. I won’t pretend to know the inner machinations of the Joint Chiefs, the White House, or President Trump, but with the destruction of an E-3 Sentry on the runway, it has become absolutely clear the U.S. armed forces have not scaled their ability to handle drones. I don’t know what the answer here is, but I haven’t seen this point brought up at the frequency it deserves. It needs to be said. We are not ready for footage of American soldiers and Marines cowering in their last moments, set to some upbeat pop song or some cleric screaming praises to Allah.show more
