More and more Zimbabwean butcheries are selling 𝗳𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲... 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗳 — and if you have bought "Super Beef" recently that lacked flavour, this is why. 🥩 The process is simple: emaciated or older, grass-fed cows are put into fattening pens and fed heavy compound feed to rapidly gain weight before slaughter. While it boosts tonnage on paper, the end result on your plate is not great: 👉 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿: Rapid pen-fattening produces soft meat, but it lacks the rich taste of properly matured, range-fed beef. 👉 Fatty Offals: The offals from these cows are often laced with thick layers of soft fat and taste horrible. Until butcheries are required to label this meat properly, price remains your best indicator: If you see "Super Beef" selling for significantly less than 𝗨𝗦$𝟳.𝟱𝟬/𝗸𝗴, it is almost certainly pen-fattened cow beef. Have you noticed a drop in beef quality at your local butchery lately? 👇 #Zimbabwe #Harare #ZimBeef #FoodQuality #Agriculture #ZimLife #ShoppingZimshow more

Good morning to everyone in Massachusetts who agrees with... Senator Warren’s honest admission that Democrats are no longer trusted by working Americans. When Warren says, “Once, we were trusted by working people,” that should be a wake-up call, not a throwaway line. Trust isn’t lost overnight. It’s lost when families feel squeezed by rising costs, when policies sound good on paper but make daily life harder, and when elected officials seem more focused on ideology than results. Working people want affordability, accountability, and common sense. They want a government that listens, respects their paycheck, and understands that every new program, mandate, or tax comes out of their pocket. At this point, even Democrats are saying the quiet part out loud. When their own representatives admit they’ve lost the trust of working Americans, it’s hard to deny that their policies have failed the people they claim to represent.show more

This seemingly simple process helped build the industrial world.... In 1865, Ralph Hart Tweddell developed one of the first practical hydraulic riveting machines, replacing teams hammering red hot rivets with hydraulic pressure. Riveting costs fell to roughly one-seventh of hand work, while joints became faster and more repeatable. That mattered enormously. Ships, boilers, railways and bridges were growing larger, but all depended on joining vast amounts of iron and steel reliably. In shipyards, hydraulic riveting could cut some work to one-third the time, helping larger structures move through production economically. Its fingerprints are everywhere. The Eiffel Tower contains 2.5 million rivets. The Titanic itself was assembled with around 3 million rivets and when it struck the iceberg, failure of some of those rivets likely helped its hull seams open and the sea water to rush in. Riveting became one of the pivotal technologies that accelerated heavy industrialisation all across the world. There was clever physics inside every joint too, as a red-hot rivet cooled, it contracted, clamping the plates tightly together. Welding eventually replaced hot riveting across much of heavy industry, but the principle never disappeared. Modern aircraft still contain hundreds of thousands, sometimes millions, of highly engineered rivets and mechanical fasteners. Tweddell found a better way to join two pieces of metal. His invention went on to supercharge shipbuilding, infrastructure and heavy industry for generations. Source, Vince Thompsonshow more

China's central bank has now bought gold for 19... months straight, the largest official buyer on earth. And this week, as gold broke 4,000 dollars, China's biggest banks moved to push ordinary Chinese out of leveraged gold trading, with at least one warning it will liquidate any position not closed by month-end. Both are true at once, and together they explain what this crash really is. Start with what is being banned, because the words matter. ICBC and a string of other banks are shutting down retail trading in what the Chinese themselves call paper gold, the margined, leveraged contracts where you bet on the price without ever owning a bar. Some banks lifted the margin requirement to 140 percent to choke the leverage off before closing the products outright. Physical gold, meanwhile, stays wide open. Coins, bars, savings plans, ETFs, all fine. It is only the paper, the leverage, the casino, that is being shut, the last step in a five-year retreat that the crash just finished. Officially this is about protecting small investors, and that part is real. The same kind of leverage wiped out a wave of Chinese retail in a 2020 commodity blowup. But set the ban beside what the state is doing and something larger comes into view. While its citizens are pushed out of the paper, the People's Bank of China has spent those same 19 months buying the physical metal, more than two thousand three hundred tonnes of it now, accumulating straight through a 28 percent crash that scared everyone else out. Beijing is not trading gold. It is hoarding it. That is the strategy in one frame. China looked at the two things both called gold, the paper bet and the physical bar, and made a choice no Western government would make. It is taking the metal for the state and closing the casino for everyone else. The reason sits in a single date. 2022, when Russia's reserves were frozen with a keystroke. That taught every country outside the Western system one lesson: dollars in an account can be switched off, gold in your own vault cannot. So China is building its monetary independence out of the one asset nobody can freeze, and it does not want that foundation in the hands of leveraged traders who panic-sell in a crash, or priced by a paper market it does not control. Watch this month and the two worlds split in real time. Western investors were forced out of their gold by margin calls and a rate scare. China's central bank bought that exact dip with both hands. One side treats gold as a trade. The other treats it as the floor under a currency. The West is selling paper gold and calling it a crash. China is buying physical gold and calling it a foundation. In ten years, only one of them will look like it understood what gold was for. The metal is already moving to that side.show more

🚨 SCIENTISTS JUST REPLACED EXPENSIVE PLATINUM CATALYSTS IN ZINC-AIR... BATTERIES WITH CHEAP IRON AND IT WORKS BETTER. Zinc-air batteries are one of the most promising low-cost, high-energy-density alternatives to lithium-ion, but they’ve been held back by a slow and inefficient oxygen reduction reaction that usually requires precious metal catalysts. Researchers at Tohoku University engineered a simple iron oxide/samarium oxide interface that dramatically speeds up this reaction. The heterointerface changes how electrons behave at the surface, weakens excessive bonding with reaction intermediates, and delivers faster kinetics plus excellent durability all without any noble metals. The new catalyst performed strongly in both liquid and flexible solid-state zinc-air batteries, successfully powering LEDs and even charging a smartphone. Why this matters: • Zinc-air batteries use oxygen from the air, abundant zinc, and are much cheaper and safer than lithium-ion • Removing the need for platinum or other precious metals makes them far more scalable and affordable • The iron-based interface approach is simple, stable in alkaline conditions, and improves both performance and longevity • It was demonstrated in practical devices, not just lab tests The deeper implication: We’re getting closer to energy storage that doesn’t rely on scarce, expensive materials. Zinc-air technology has long been held back by catalyst limitations, but this work shows that clever interface engineering with cheap, abundant elements can unlock the performance needed for real-world applications from portable electronics to large-scale grid storage. It’s another step toward clean energy systems that are not only sustainable in operation, but also in the materials they use. The future of batteries may not depend on mining more rare metals… but on smarter chemistry with what we already have in abundance. How close do you think we are to zinc-air batteries becoming a mainstream alternative to lithium-ion? Follow for more frontier battery materials and clean energy storage research.show more

Coffee thoughts - I’m not sure Candace is coming... back. “I want to thank Baron for telling me it was time to do this”. “Thank you to everyone that’s been on this journey it’s been a heavy one.” “Today went a lot different than I thought it was going to be” Just for the record the court filing I posted last night was to get more time to respond and to go from 25 pages to 35 pages on why the court case with Harpole should be dismissed for “Failure to state a claim”. She’s trying to get it dismissed before it goes to discovery. Put the paperwork in AI it will give you the specifics. We all knew it was coming. The money it takes to fight these suits is insane. She’d be stupid to not try to get it dismissed. And Tennessee has more laws protecting public figures so it would be easier to get dismissed than in Delaware (that doesn’t) with the Macrons. I still think more happened yesterday. And the way she was acting just gives me this maybe it for a bit. Maybe I’m wrong but I knew yesterday something was up. Her video seemed more directed at making her last claims on everyone than continuing the attack. There was nothing there for an emergency video. She’s heavily pregnant, she’s run out of material, she’s being sued and the cases are coming up, she has 4 kids about to be 5 and you can only attack people so long with the same accusations. The trial is coming up that will disprove the conspiracies. Or maybe she just wanted one last show until she gets back. I still question if maybe another lawsuit dropped. We shall see. Off to vacation myself. Apparently we are going to Spain. (Joking).show more

🚨 WARNING: SOMETHING EXTREMELY BAD JUST HAPPENED Foreign nations... pulled BILLIONS of gold OUT of the U.S. → The Netherlands pulled 86 tonnes → France pulled 129 tonnes → Germany pulled 300 tonnes This has NEVER happened before. But nobody is talking about what that means: These are not retail investors. These are NATIONS. For decades, enormous quantities of foreign gold were stored outside national borders. Including inside the United States. Now the direction is changing. Countries don't just want to HAVE their gold on paper. They want to KNOW EXACTLY WHERE IT IS. And they want direct control over it. This is bigger than gold. Because at the exact same time, foreign nations are reassessing their exposure to U.S. Treasuries. Some are reducing holdings. Others are diversifying reserves. And China? CHINA HAS BEEN BUYING GOLD NONSTOP. Month after month, Beijing continues adding to its reserves while building alternatives to the existing dollar-based financial system. This is the part most people are missing. The global financial system isn't changing because countries suddenly stopped trusting one asset. It's changing because governments are reducing their dependence on ANY single system. The pattern is becoming increasingly clear: → Gold is being repatriated → Reserve diversification is accelerating → Biggest foreign holders are dumping U.S. Treasuries → Central banks are accumulating more gold And the implications are enormous. Because the United States has benefited for decades from one extraordinary advantage: THE DOLLAR'S CENTRAL ROLE IN GLOBAL FINANCE. Foreign governments accumulated dollars. They bought U.S. Treasuries. They stored reserves inside the Western financial system. That created enormous demand for American assets. But what happens when countries begin changing the structure of their reserves? What happens when more governments decide that physical gold belongs INSIDE their own borders? What happens when Treasury holdings become less concentrated? What happens when China keeps accumulating gold while expanding alternative financial infrastructure? That's not how major financial systems change. It starts slowly. Reserve managers diversify. Gold gets moved. Treasury exposure gets adjusted. New payment networks emerge. And China is sitting directly at the center of all this. They are preparing for a world with MULTIPLE competing financial centers. Meanwhile, other nations are bringing their own gold home. It ca mean just one thing: THE RULES OF THE GLOBAL RESERVE SYSTEM ARE CHANGING. The question is no longer whether countries are diversifying. They already are. The real question is how far this goes. Pay attention. The biggest shifts in global finance are never obvious while they are happening. Then suddenly, everyone realizes the world has changed. I've spent more than a decade watching how these markets move. And I've also called nearly every major market top and bottom. Follow and turn on notifications now. Many people will wish they had started paying attention sooner.show more

Ola recently announced that they are bringing affordable AI... to Indian developers. 𝐉𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐬 an Indian company has been providing affordable GPUs for developers across the globe since 2020. We are a little known, so I want to share our story here. 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 We are bootstrapped, building from the outskirts of Coimbatore. Started as a small team of 4, from humble backgrounds none from IITs/IIMs. Currently, we are a team of 12+. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐝 The cost of hosting GPU servers 4 years back in India was insanely high. We got 2 quotes which charged us Rs. 1.5L for a single server per month. At that cost, it was not practical for us to do the business. So we went to the first principle to build an MVP for a mini data center/server room. For the first few years, we ran all our servers from a room fitted with ACs, a UPS, and a Generator, which experts claimed would not work. As we scaled, we faced the heat of our setup, but by then we accumulated more money than we had. So last year we moved it to a tier 3+ DC near Bangalore. This helped us boost the confidence of our users, as we have redundancy for power, internet, and networking which gives us and our customers a lot of peaceful nights. 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐉𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐬 Developers and artists from across the world have supported us in our journey. Some prominent companies are ZOHO (My inspiration), Weights and Biases, UNC, UpGrad, and many more. 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞 We crossed 580K USD in the last financial year, the highest ever in our history. Being bootstrapped, the only way for us to grow is to put all the money back. Our customers are our investors, as a founder I have hardly taken a paycheck for the last 4+ years, since the team also believes in our vision they are happy not taking a fancy cheque. 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 As AI evolves, we want to bring the capabilities of AI to users at the lowest prices possible. Being bootstrapped, the only way to survive is to be frugal and disciplined. 𝐇𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 I am proud of our hiring strategy. We hired only freshers to date, and most of our hires do not have a formal degree. They come from rural areas and economically challenged backgrounds. The average age of our new team is 19. They have played an active role in building our V2 of Jarvislabs and improving the product daily. I love to thank everyone for supporting us in our journey. Thanks to Analytics India Magazine, INDIAai, fastai for recognizing us in our early years. METAL SNAPPED LIKE BONE: 190-Foot Bailey Bridge Tears Apart,... Truck Smashes Into Sutlej’s Churning Hell - Congress Neglect Turns Highway Into Death Trap In a split-second of raw terror on Tuesday, the 190-foot Bailey bridge in Himachal Pradesh’s Kinnaur district didn’t collapse it exploded in a violent, grinding shriek of twisting steel and shattering concrete. The truck was midway across the narrow, overloaded span on National Highway 5 (Old Hindustan-Tibet Road) between Reckong and Tapri near Urni Dhank when the entire structure gave way. Metal panels ripped apart like wet paper, the deck buckled and dropped, and the heavy vehicle was hurled sideways into a sickening free-fall. It smashed into the violent, rock-strewn Sutlej River nearly 200 feet below with a thunderous, bone-crushing impact that sent water and debris exploding upward. For several horrifying seconds the truck was half-submerged and battered by the freezing, merciless current before the driver somehow clawed his way out of the wreckage with only minor injuries - alive, but staring straight into what should have been his grave. This was no random accident. It is the direct, predictable result of the ruling Congress government’s years of criminal neglect and cost-cutting in Himachal Pradesh. Under Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the state has allowed these dangerous, temporary Bailey bridges - never meant for heavy, long-term use - to remain on one of the most treacherous mountain highways in the country. Instead of replacing them with proper permanent structures, the Congress administration has gambled with countless lives, prioritising everything except the safety of people forced to travel these killer routes every day. The twisted wreckage hanging over the gorge and the crushed truck in the Sutlej are not just the remains of a bridge. They are proof of a government that has failed its most basic duty: keeping citizens alive on the roads it claims to maintain.show more

MiniMax H3 MiniMax Design (H3) just dropped, and I... tested it with this 15-second prompt. The results were more interesting than I expected. The character movement, physical interactions, and shot continuity are all impressive. At first glance, it already feels very close to Seedance 2.0. Watch the final video and find the full prompt below 👇 15-second, 16:9 vertical, continuous single-take video that looks like authentic smartphone footage accidentally captured by a passerby in a city park. Overcast natural daylight, subtle handheld shake, limited phone stabilization, occasional autofocus adjustment, and realistic smartphone compression. The absurd event is filmed with a completely serious, unscripted documentary feeling. 0–3s: [Handheld medium shot] A middle-aged man wearing a dark business suit and tie crouches beside the stone edge of a pond. With a completely serious expression, he slowly scatters pieces of bread from a paper bag to several ordinary koi. Small ripples spread across the water as the fish gather in front of him. 3–7s: [Camera instinctively moves closer] An abnormally huge orange-and-white koi suddenly surges out of the murky water, briefly lifting its upper body above the surface and biting down on the entire bread bag in the man’s left hand. He freezes for half a second, then grips the bag with both hands and leans backward. Startled, the person filming steps back. The image briefly loses focus before locking onto the man and the giant fish again. 7–11s: [Close handheld action shot] The giant koi pulls violently toward the deeper part of the pond. The wet paper bag stretches, the man’s arms tense, and his leather shoes slide repeatedly across the wet stone. His knee strikes the edge of the pond. He tries to brace himself with his right foot, but the sole loses traction and his center of gravity moves past the edge. Water, pieces of bread, and fallen leaves scatter from the force as the camera operator hurriedly moves sideways. 11–15s: [Impact and final hold] The paper bag suddenly tears. The man loses all support and pitches forward into the pond, creating one heavy, realistic splash. The camera quickly tilts downward while keeping the center of the pond visible. The man resurfaces with duckweed covering his head and his wet tie stuck across his face. The giant koi calmly swims past him with the remains of the bread bag still in its mouth. The camera holds on the man’s stunned expression while the koi casually swims away beside him. Keep the man’s face, dark suit, tie, and paper bag visually consistent throughout. The koi must retain the same orange-and-white markings and enormous size. The pulling, sliding, loss of balance, and fall must show believable weight, inertia, traction, and water displacement. Natural park ambience and a realistic splash only. No dialogue, no subtitles, no music. Avoid cuts, character teleportation, changes in the fish’s size, extra limbs, and cartoonish acting. #MiniMaxH3 #AIVideoshow more

Last flight of 2025. São Paulo to London. One... final Atlantic crossing this year… This year asked more than I expected. There were extraordinary moments, stars over the ITCZ, dawn breaking across continents, the quiet privilege of a flight deck at night, but also periods that were heavy, uncertain, and quietly hard. Some of that showed. Some of it didn’t. Not everything needs to. Aviation has a way of holding a mirror up to you. On good days it amplifies confidence and joy; on tougher ones it demands humility, discipline, and support from the people around you. I leaned on that support more than once this year, colleagues, friends, family, and conversations that arrived at exactly the right moment to help me navigate life’s turbulence. Their wise counsel has kept me ‘grounded’ when needed and for this I’m extremely grateful. To everyone else who followed along, reached out, challenged me, or simply stayed for the avgeek nonsense, thank you. Genuinely. This space is often polarising but for me it’s more than photographs of aeroplanes. It became somewhere to reflect, to question, and occasionally to admit that things weren’t simple. That mattered. As the year closes, change feels close. New projects are forming. New conversations are waiting. A new book, Jumbo, launches in the early new year, and perhaps a different flight deck lies ahead, maybe a return to Boeing is on the cards. The curiosity is back, and so is the excitement. Some of the best conversations don’t happen on frequency. They happen when the door’s closed and the crew room is quiet. I hope to share more of these conversations with you in 2026… Thank you all for being part of the journey. See you on the other side of the Atlantic, and into whatever 2026 has planned. Taxpayer-funded transgender dolls headed to Minnesota classrooms this fall.... “First-of-their-kind” paper dolls with removable genitalia will be introduced to some Minnesota classrooms for children as young as 4 years old, according to a New York Post report. The dolls, developed over six years by professors at the University of Minnesota Medical School’s Institute for Sexual and Gender Health, come with gender-neutral names like Sam, Rory, Avery and Parker. They feature more than 100 interchangeable pieces of clothing, hairstyles, accessories — and detachable internal and external genitals. The stated goal is for kids to “learn about the different options that exist for who they can be.” One of the co-founders, Associate Professor Dianne Berg, previously said: “Everyone should be learning that there’s diversity in gender identity and that what makes you real is not what your body parts are, but how you think and feel.” She added that she has already begun using the dolls with her own patients who are between five and ten years old. (Video: AI) The university’s Medical School receives $15 million in annual state funding. Critics, including Dr. Quentin Van Meter, past president of the American College of Pediatricians, have raised serious concerns about the age-appropriateness of introducing such materials to young children. A university spokesperson said no public funds supported the commercialization of the dolls, but declined to detail how much taxpayer money went into the research and development. In my view, directing public resources toward materials of this nature for preschool and elementary-age children raises serious questions about both fiscal priorities and developmental suitability. At the very least, parents must have a clear and unambiguous right to opt their children out. Many critics go further and argue the entire program should be shut down.show more

I just built my own wiki generator plugin for... my agents. My agents can now generate wikis for anything I ask. One of my favorite wikis is called PaperWiki. This is a great example of what Andrej Karpathy describes. It uses obsidian vaults to organize papers, retrieve LLM-generated summaries, diagrams, and other advanced views for paper exploration. When Obsidian UI is not enough, I use my own artifact generator inside my agent orchestrator (see clip for example). This allows my agents to build any kind of view or exploration feature that I need. The papers are all curated with automations and several rules/patterns I have manually built over the years. On the surface, this looks basic. But behind the scenes, there are advanced search capabilities, connections, metadata, derived data, and other interesting bits of information that are extremely useful for my research agents. This is mostly built for agents. The artifact preview is just a high-level way to validate and quickly assess the quality of the wiki, suggest improvements, and it's also great for research. I use tobi lutke's qmd for all search capabilities. Everything is markdown. The summaries and even the diagrams. The wiki updates on its own based on several automations I have optimized over the past couple of weeks. The wiki grows and self-improves based on several requirements important for my research use cases. This is as personalized as it gets. There is nothing like it out there. And I use my research expertise to continue improving it over time. This is a vanilla wiki. There are so many things I want to build on top of this. Different aggregations, views, artifacts, etc. All to help automate more of my research work and accelerate productivity. I think the biggest leverage here is how powerful this could be for discovery and experimentation. One of my goals is to use it to find deeper connections and insights that would otherwise elude the top human researchers and use those to generate interesting new hypotheses and research experiments. That way, my agents can use autoresearch to explore research ideas at the frontier. Stay tuned for more.show more

Somewhere around sixty you get handed a new set... of instructions. Lift lighter. Keep the reps high. Do not tax yourself too much. Put the saved effort into cardio. It is the exact reverse of what an ageing body needs, and the people handing it out have the mechanism sitting right in front of them. Recovery gets worse with age. Nobody argues with that. The older body clears fatigue more slowly, repairs more slowly, and tolerates far less accumulated work before progress stops entirely. Every GP, every physio, every trainer will nod along to that sentence. Then watch what gets prescribed on the back of it. High reps. Long burning sets. Circuits. Three sessions of cardio stacked on top. A protocol whose main product is fatigue, given to the person with the least capacity left to absorb any. They identified a recovery problem and prescribed more recovery cost. The answer runs the other way and it is not complicated. If your recovery budget has shrunk, you spend it on whatever returns the most growth per unit of fatigue, and that is a heavy set of five. Four to six reps, a handful of lifts, three minutes between sets, done inside the hour. Nearly every rep is a growth rep. Almost nothing goes on the burning, the sweating and the gasping, which build nothing at all and then bill you for four days. Twenty-five reps taken to failure is a fortnight of fatigue for a fraction of the stimulus. That is not the cautious option for a sixty-five-year-old. It is the most reckless thing on the timetable. Now the part that actually matters. Ageing is not one process. It is a list. Muscle wastes. Bone thins. Tendon softens. The fast fibres that catch you when the pavement arrives early vanish first while the slow ones sit there in perfect health. Motor units drop out. The nervous system stops asking for full effort because nothing has demanded full effort in fifteen years. Read that list back and tell me what heavy resistance training does. It builds muscle. It loads bone, which is the only language bone speaks. It stiffens tendon. It recruits the fast fibres, because that is what heavy means physiologically and there is no other route in. It forces the nervous system to ask for everything again. Every item on the list of what ageing takes is on the list of what a heavy set gives back. Nothing else on earth does that. Not a walk, not a class, not a pill, not twenty minutes on a machine with the paper open. You were told to go gently because somebody quietly decided you were finishing. Go heavy, because you are not.show more

Please threaten me harder — the last one smote. But darling, why stop at paper and ink? Let’s play legal chicken and see who’ll first blink. Come on, babe, take it all the way to court. We’ll even call your ex-beau as a witness, Big Jort. Skip the love letters and let’s make it a date. A few years in a courtroom can seal both our fate. Discovery will be fun, depositions too I can’t wait to sit face to face with you. Endless filings and motions sound like pure bliss. Tell me honestly… what’s more romantic than this? So sue me, baby — go on, make the first move. I’ll meet you at the courthouse with nothing to prove. Your love letters got me this far, it’s true. Now let’s go second base, and litigate too. People often assume I’m a multi-millionaire because of this... account. I wish. I’m just a dedicated dad. Work a management job. Pay a mortgage. Pack school lunches before work. Somewhere along the way I found out I have a hunch for picking stocks. Not a gift. Not luck. A pattern I started noticing before I understood why it was there. I’m not different from you. I dream of the same thing most people dream of. Enough money to do what I want, when I want. No alarm clock deciding my morning for me. Here’s what I actually have that maybe you don’t yet: 2 to 4 hours a day studying companies. Before work. After the kids are asleep. On my lunch break. I’m not smarter than anyone reading this. I just got curious about the market. That curiosity turned into a process. The process is the only edge I have. Actually, maybe not the only one. The fact that I’m not a multi-millionaire yet might be my real edge. I’m hungry. I have something to prove, to myself, to my family, to everyone who thinks this doesn’t work for regular people. Guys who already made it stop grinding the way I grind. I haven’t made it yet. That’s exactly why I’m not stopping. I’m still figuring this out in public. Same as you would be. 🚨🎙️GIANNI INFANTINO ISSUES EMOTIONAL APOLOGY AFTER FIFA ABANDONS PRIVATE... INVESTMENT PLAN “Over the last few days, I have listened carefully to the concerns raised by confederations, federations, clubs, players and supporters from around the world. When this proposal was first discussed, our intention was never to divide football or compromise the values of the game. We believed we were exploring a unique opportunity that could help football grow and create long-term benefits for future generations. However, after hearing the feedback and seeing the reaction across the football community, it became clear that we underestimated the concerns surrounding these plans. We underestimated how many people would view this as a step in the wrong direction, and for that, I take responsibility. To everyone who felt disappointed, betrayed or that FIFA had broken their trust, I sincerely apologize. That was never our intention. The World Cup means far more than any business proposal, and when something creates this level of division within football, it is our duty to stop, listen and rethink our position. We have done exactly that. After careful reflection, we concluded that this was not the right path for the game. No financial opportunity is worth risking the unity of the football family. Football belongs to its supporters, its players and its communities, and their voices have been heard. Today, we move forward together. We have listened, we have learned, and we will work to rebuild the trust of everyone who felt let down by this process. For that reason, the proposal will not proceed, and our focus returns to protecting the future of football and the values that make this sport special.” “We Underestimated The Concerns, And For That I Apologize” No financial opportunity is worth dividing the football family. We have listened, reflected and decided not to proceed. Football belongs to its fans, and today we are choosing unity over disagreement. We have learned from this experience, and we will work hard to rebuild the trust of everyone who felt let down by these plans.” (Skysport)show more
