Mind-blowing gut news from UC Davis microbiologists: Plain old... sauerkraut (fermented cabbage) can actually shield your intestinal lining from inflammation damage Raw cabbage? Zero protection. Just the salty brine? Nope, not enough. In lab tests with human gut cell models, sauerkraut extracts kept the barrier strong and reduced damage from inflammatory cytokines. Unfermented cabbage? No dice. It’s the full fermentation magic that creates powerful metabolites, like lactic acid, GABA, and unique amino acid derivatives, that your gut cells recognize and thrive on. A small daily serving (just a forkful or two!) might help build a more resilient digestive system—especially paired with plenty of fiber. Fermented foods never stop surprising us. Who’s adding more kraut to their plate this week? #GutHealth #FoodAsMedicine Reference: Wei L, Marco ML.2025.The fermented cabbage metabolome and its protection against cytokine-induced intestinal barrier disruption of Caco-2 monolayers. I’m a carnivore and I eat pickles. Healing doesn’t... fit into a rigid box, and it isn’t linear. Eating meat healed my body, stabilized my blood sugar, and changed my life. Adding a few pickles on a bacon cheeseburger does not erase that. Our ancestors didn’t eat salad bars or processed junk, but they also ate what was available when needed. Fermented foods and berries didn’t suddenly make them “not ancestral.” Do what works for your body. Dogma helps no one heal.show more

700+ days. 450+ lbs of raw later. Still alive—and…... still tripping balls 🌈🦋🥚🕺🥩🛸✨ 👇 “Enjoy the parasites!” “You’re gonna get E. coli!” “You’re gonna die!” Mainstream fear-mongering is wild. For over 22 months, I’ve eaten 95% raw animal foods—meat, fish, eggs, milk—and feel better than ever. Here’s why: Cooking destroys what your body needs most—vitamins, enzymes, amino acids, and fats. It doesn’t “make food safe”; it strips its life force. Raw animal foods, on the other hand, are nutrient-dense, easy to digest, and packed with what fuels vitality. Parasites? Bacteria? Not the villains they’re made out to be. They only thrive in weak environments. Build a strong terrain, and they’re not an issue. Eating raw supports terrain theory—your health depends on your environment, not fear-driven narratives. The secret? Grass-fed, organic, local sources. Factory-farmed meat is NOT it. Quality matters. The benefits? • Clear energy. No post-meal slumps. • Faster recovery. • Simplified eating—no mess, no cooking prep, no stress, just real food fueling real health. If you want even more esoteric and sovereign health advice, comment UNTAMED for my holistic nutrition guide on raw animal foods, recipes and balanced nutrition for detox and energy! Raw eating connects me to nature, supports my biome, and keeps me thriving every single day. Cooking torches what your body craves most. Raw restores it. I used to steam broccoli and call it a... day. Then implemented one tiny tweak made it way more powerful. I chop fresh broccoli, let it sit on the counter for 40 minutes (the magic window!), then lightly steam it with garlic and a squeeze of lemon. The science: Chopping + waiting activates sulforaphane — that powerhouse compound in broccoli that supports detox pathways, fights inflammation, and feeds your good gut bacteria. P.S. For bonus points, add a sauce with real mustard (supplies myrosinase, a key enzyme that maximizes broccoli's benefits) or sprinkle broccoli sprouts on top for more myrosinase. This may seem like a joke… and it’s definitely... somewhat light-hearted But it’s also real. “Dessert” and “Sugar” has been demonized to a crazy extent. but there’s a huge difference between desserts made with high quality ingredients and desserts made with cheap filler junk. Take ice cream for example. Milk, cream, eggs, sugar? All anabolic & good for you. But they get a bad rap because people eat the Ben & Jerry’s slop with 100 ingredients most of which is processed slop. You can make the same conclusion about mostly every dessert. Cookies? Whole different ballgame if they are made with something like heirloom grains such as einkorn or spelt, that aren’t enriched, that aren’t loaded with gums, dyes, artificial sweeteners, etc. Getting this sugar in is actually GOOD for testosterone production, metabolism, & sleep. It’s inherently anti-stress when coming from a quality source. And beyond all that? Having some enjoyable treats makes your diet something that isn’t a 3 week effort, before falling off to binge for 3 days, and repeat. You satisfy your enjoyment for a delightful sweet, and increase adherence long term. So while it’s tongue in cheek, I’m not joking. Eat dessert for maximum gains.show more

8 things I don't eat as a doctor who... treats cancer: 1. Seed oils (canola, sunflower, safflower, vegetable, etc.). These oils are unstable and prone to oxidation, damage cell membranes, promote inflammation, and suppress thyroid function. 2. Artificial sweeteners. Aspartame, sucralose, and others disrupt the gut microbiome and are considered possibly carcinogenic by the International Agency for Research on Cancer. 3. Grains fortified with iron. Most commercial breads and cereals are enriched with inorganic iron, which accumulates in tissues, drives oxidative stress, and accelerates aging. 4. Industrial processed foods (artificial flavors, dyes, gums, etc.). Additives like carrageenan, gums, and dyes irritate the gut and are linked to leaky gut, inflammation, and microbiome disruption. 5. Oat & soy milk. Milk alternatives are often spiked with gums, seed oils, and synthetic vitamins. Oats can be high in pesticides and soy's phytoestrogens disrupt hormone balance. 6. Plant-based protein powders. Pea, soy, and rice proteins are frequently contaminated with heavy metals. Soy proteins, in particular, are estrogenic and thyroid-suppressive. 7. High fructose corn syrup (HFCS). HFCS is often contaminated with heavy metals like mercury during industrial processing. 8. Flaxseed. High in unstable fatty acids that oxidize quickly. Flax also contains phytoestrogens that can worsen estrogen dominance and disrupt hormone signaling. The best rule of thumb for eating is to eat how your grandparents ate! If it wasn't around over 100 years ago, it's best to avoid. 🍒🥔🍗🥕show more

What happens when a bullsh*tting integrative holistic wellness coach... meets the pseudoscience poster boy of India? Intense mental constipation and explosive verbal diarrhea. In todays edition of "This Does Not Happen", we discuss "Fasting, Gut Health and Gut "Reset." First, intergrated medicine is a fraudulent practice. And make no mistake, functional medicine is too. See here and here Fasting is overrated. For those who did not understand that Overrated meaning: valued too highly or have a higher opinion of (someone or something) than is deserved. There is nothing called as "gut health." Microbiome scientists have never identified or defined what a "healthy microbiome in the gut is," but have only figured out some beneficial gut bacteria. Every holistic coach, every alternative medicine practitioner, every half-baked gastroenterologist (*cough* Pal *cough* *cough*), every overconfident nutritionist and science-defying dietitian-influencer on the internet has abused the word "gut health" so much that it has started featuring on Ayurvedic, Homeopathic and Naturopathic products which science-illiterate people lap up wholesale. Trust me, none of them have any clue what the gut microbiome means and what its functionality & potential truly are. No one knows in fact and medical science is only figuring it out - one step at a time. The only time where medical science actually found value of a "gut reset" is the role of healthy donor stool transplant to treat severe, recurrent Clostridium difficile infections. Fasting does modulate the intestinal bacteria. But NOT so much that it RESETS the whole gastrointestinal system. It is quite stupid to think of it that way. Fasting was shown to increase populations of certain bacteria. But this is in no way a "detox" (another fraudulent wellness selling term) and no way a "reset." For example, when the gut is empty, mucosal slime inside intestines increase and a specific bacteria that feeds of the slime outcompetes other bacteria and increases - called Lachnospira. That is not a reset at all. Every study on fasting and "gut health" has been very basic, based on biochemical or molecular parameters and none clinically translated into beneficial interventions. Even the other commonly used term "autophagy" in the exercise/diet/nutrition/health-influencer circles is complete hocus pocus. Yes, autopaghy exists, but there is absolutely NO clinical evidence that such a process with fasting does anyone anything good. "Fasting and autophagy" related speculative benefits have NOT yet been demonstrated in real-world clinical trials involving people. Fast is you feel like it. If you can tolerate it. If you are pious and your religion warrants it. But dont think its resetting anything, other than your confirmational bias, which has been strengthened by your personal, anecdotal experience which is further strengthened by your exposure to videos that "hijack science sounding terms" narrated by "overconfident medical-science-pirates," who keep lying, day in and day out on the internet.show more

🥚 Raw Eggs — They are nature's fast food,... and a complete food, with every nutrient you could need. A raw egg digests in only 27 to 37 minutes, which is phenomenal compared to other foods containing protein and fat, like meat and milk. This is because egg is a fully liquid food. The body doesn't need to use any digestive fluids, hydrochloric acid, to break it down, it will absorb within the first 5 inches of the intestine only, from bacterial digestion alone. Of course, if you cook the egg, this doesn't apply anymore. Cooking not only destroys nutrients, especially enzymes and vitamins, which impairs digestion, and generates toxins, like heterocyclic amines from proteins, and cauterizes the minerals, but it coagulates the egg. This not only makes a raw egg the perfect food to get instant energy in a healthful way, but a vital food that can save someone's life. If your digestive system is so compromised you cannot digest other animal protein, like meat, raw eggs will work. Or if you have leaky gut, they digest before they even have to go through the G.I. tract. In general, if you want to give your digestive system a rest, eat raw eggs, you will get back appetite for other foods very soon. In the next post of this thread is a quote of Aajonus' most incredible testimonial on the healing power of raw eggs. They are also the best food to repair. The only thing that Aajonus found that eggs cannot do is help the body reproduce cells quicker. That takes raw meat. So long-term, you cannot replace raw meat with raw eggs, they work complementarily. Don't discard the egg white. Aajonus proved the avidin in raw egg white is not an anti-nutrient. Aajonus ate up to 60 raw eggs a day (one or two dozens on most days) since 1976. He confirmed there was no biotin deficiency whatsoever. The narrow-minded lab experiments do not explain what actually happen and then draw the wrong conclusion. What actually happens is that biotin mixes with avidin to make a compound that cleans the body of biocarbons, which are leftover byproducts from macronutrient digestion that need to be eliminated by the body. This is actually a good thing. Plus, there is an excess of available biotin in raw egg compared to the amount of avidin. It is also recommended by Aajonus to not eat raw egg yolks alone either, as it creates imbalances when on a raw diet (this doesn't apply on a cooked diet). He did the experiments on animals, feeding them raw egg white and raw egg yolk separately, and it made them extremely hungry, they required twice as much food, had huge imbalances emotionally, caused obesity, water retention, all kinds of problems. So, if you go to a restaurant, you can request the egg white to be included in your steak tartare, just like Aajonus did. What about salmonella? Salmonella is already on our skin, in our eyes, our nose, our mouth, recycling dead cells. They are beneficial bacteria, not pathogenic. Of course, this isn't medical advice. Look into Aajonus and more broadly into terrain theory vs germ theory. Don't refrigerate eggs. Only in the USA do people do this. If you wash the egg, you remove the protective membrane around it, then health departments require them to be refrigerated. Just don't wash the eggs. Eggs are a bit of a fragile food, many of its natural bacteria die when in cold temperatures, so it's better to keep them at room temperatures, or they will lose digestibility. You can blend raw eggs, however it will oxidize them, destroying certain nutrients. There are three enzymes in the egg white which prevent certain hormones that help certain diseases progress like cancer. If you as little as whip the raw egg with a work, these enzymes in the egg white oxidize within seconds. Raw eggs are a detoxification food. They are rich in cholesterol. If you drink alcohol, eat plenty of raw eggs (before, during, after), and you will avoid a hangover. The cholesterol in raw eggs is very good at collecting the alcohol and other toxins. They also enable the body to make solvents to break down toxicity like cellulite. Raw eggs can be fermented, and aged in various ways. Century eggs, the real ones (which are around 25 years old), can cost a thousand dollars. They transform in all sorts of shapes, they can look like green boiled eggs, jewelry, eggs that could belong to a dragon, or turn into white, black powder. They can give incredible energy and libido. How to eat: If you eat the raw egg white first, then the yolk right after, the raw egg will digest in 27 minutes, otherwise in 37 minutes. It is easier to do so from the shell by poking a hole on each side and sucking from it. This is "Aajonus-style". From a glass is "Rocky-style". Nowadays also called slonking. Make the egg go through your teeth while you drink it, this makes it easier to mix it with saliva, which allows better digestion. That only works if you eat only one raw egg at a time. If you eat several raw eggs at once, they will digest slower. Not an issue, it is still extremely healthy. Therefore eating raw eggs frequently throughout the day, one at a time, can bring a steady flow of nutrients to your body. Eggs are perfect to eat upon waking up, providing quick energy from fats and providing protein for the body to make glycogen from and feed the nervous system. They are perfect to eat in-between meals. Only take a couple seconds and get you going for hours, and whenever you get tired. Eggs help gain and lose weight. It all depends how you combine them. A raw egg eaten alone can lead to weight loss, except if you eat more than around 22 a day to maintain. Aajonus' weight loss protocol relies on eating a raw egg diet for 1-3 weeks and is very effective. Raw eggs can help remove cellulite, strip down toxic fat (which is fat that was used to store toxins). Eggs eaten with other foods, or several at once, don't have this weight loss effect. They are very good to eat with other foods, such as raw meat (steak tartare). You can easily eat 3 raw eggs with your raw steak. There are many recipes, from raw pastries, to sauces like mayo, milkshakes, ... where you can keep the egg raw and whole.show more

Carotene is NOT your Retinol, diva👇🏻 While often conflated... especially in the new “Eat Your Skincare” TikTok trends that amass millions of views, beta-carotene (from carrots or sweet potatoes) is not equivalent to retinol (active vitamin A). Carotene is a provitamin A that requires enzymatic conversion to retinol: a process that is inefficient and easily impaired by hypothyroidism, stress or nutrient deficiencies. Excess carotene accumulates in tissues, interfere with the conversion of cholesterol to progesterone—your main beauty and youth protective hormone—(a process that requires adequate thyroid function and VITAMIN A) and antagonise thyroid function, much like unsaturated fats. This can lead to hormonal imbalances and impaired energy metabolism. In contrast, retinol is preformed and bioavailable in animal foods like liver, egg yolks and full fat dairy, directly supporting steroidogenesis, oxidative metabolism, skin integrity, hormonal balance, beauty and longevity. Therefore, while raw carrot (in the context of Peat’s carrot salad) has unique detoxifying benefits and you should eat one raw carrot a day for those benefits, relying on carotene-rich plants for vitamin A is metabolically wrong, inadequate and, in excess, potentially counterproductive and damaging. Hope this helps. Eat your retinol: from LIVER (~150gram a week), (raw) EGG YOLKS and FULL FAT DAIRY. Ok, love you, bye xxshow more

If anyone tells you that you need to cut... out carbs to lose weight… Run and never listen to anything that person says again I’ve gotten to single digit body fat numerous times while eating 2-4 slices of sourdough bread and 1-2 bagels every day every prep Here’s how I do it and how my clients do it too: -We either track macros or build a meal plan around their lifestyle and schedule -We build meals around foods we enjoy If I make you eat fish and broccoli, and you fucking hate fish and broccoli…I’m setting you up for failure right off the get go. Would never make any client eat something they despise when there are so many good, clean foods out there to eat to get us the results we’re after -We stay in a slight calorie deficit without starving ourselves -IF our schedule allows it, we always try to move more or increase cardio before dropping food to keep food as high as possible for as long as possible More food = more fuel = better training sessions = helps preserve and or build muscle = better metabolism long term - We train hard, lift heavy as fuck, and stay consistent because we’re not burned out or miserable with our food Bread or carbs didn’t make you fat and DOES NOT make you fat Being inconsistent and over eating is what did If you keep jumping from diet to diet, cutting more and more food to “get results”… You’ll never stay lean Because you’ll never stick with it long enough for it to work because you’ll feel like death from not eating enough But when you learn how to lose fat the right way with structure, flexibility, and a plan that fits your life… You stop starting over and hating the process while getting lean eating the foods you actually enjoy eating On top of looking AND feeling better There’s a right way and there’s a wrong way If you wanna see how it’s done the right way, shoot me a message and I’ll show you how my team can help you as wellshow more

I lost one cat to cancer. Nearly lost another... to diabetes. My purebred lab was constantly sick with allergies and infections. All three were eating "premium" pet food recommended by vets. Here's everything I wish I'd learned sooner: 1. Feed them a clean, low-carb diet. Our diabetic cat used to be addicted to high-carb treats and food, the stuff sold in most pet stores. It’s the pet version living on Pop-Tarts and Twinkies for us. After switching to a low-carb, high-protein diet, she no longer needed insulin and lived a long, healthy life. A raw carnivore diet from clean sources free of pesticides and antibiotics is arguably best for both cats and dogs. 2. Only feed them two meals per day. We made the mistake of leaving food out for our cats all day. I’m sure our younger cat (that died of cancer) was metabolically damaged from this. Neutering him too early also negatively affected his health, as he developed a pot belly soon after. Time-restricted eating benefits humans and animals alike. So, aim for an 8-hour feeding window or less. Don't feed them 3 hours before bed or 1 hour after waking, then gradually shrink the window. You'll notice more energy in yourself and healthier weight and digestion in your pets. 3. Only give them pure, clean water. We gave our cats tap water for years. While chlorine dissipates quickly, chemical residues, heavy metals, and hormones remain. Reverse osmosis or spring water proved to be the best. You can remineralize RO water with products like this: (ad) 4. Detoxify Pets are exposed to more toxins than we are. Their food is loaded with pesticides, antibiotics, and heavy metals. Artificial fragrances, chemical cleaners, and lawn pesticides add even more toxic stress. Like I emphasize in my book, “Ultimate Health,” constipation is the first thing to address in detoxification. The same goes for pets. If their bowel movements are strained, this needs to be improved. Increasing their hydration and fiber intake can help, as can fish oil and probiotics. To get a full colon detox protocol for yourself, get the first chapter of my book free here: For deeper detox, use modified citrus pectin because it enters the bloodstream rather than just the gut. Mix into tuna juice, bone broth, or their water dish away from food. 5. Treat your pets for parasites Parasites are strongly correlated to many diseases, including cancer. There's a great book called "The Cure For All Diseases" that covers this in detail (free PDFs online). Fenbendazole is a popular anti-parasitic that’s routinely helped human cancer patients survive. Fenben is also an over-the-counter pet medication. I wish I’d learned of it before Max passed away from cancer. He was such a loving little guy. For ongoing parasite management, consider mixing diatomaceous earth into your pet’s food. 6. Exercise more Dog walks benefit both of you, especially without your phone. Fetch or tug is their high-intensity interval training. *Side note for cat owners: What's your favorite way to get your furry friend moving? Drop a comment below, I'm interested in trying them out. 7. Give them more affection Affection releases oxytocin in both you and your pet. It improves sleep, mood, stress, pain, and muscle repair. Boost your oxytocin further with techniques from "Super Gut" or this video: 8. Replace LED bulbs with incandescent This one surprises people… I wish I had known years ago how damaging artificial LED lighting is for humans and pets. Natural sunlight and incandescent bulbs keep you both healthy. Follow ☣️ Pleb Kruse = BTC foundationalist in exile 🟩🔆 if you want to learn more about this. 9. Watch the sunrise every morning with your pet. Dr. Kruse talks about this constantly. Sunrise has red and infrared wavelengths that heal the brain, eyes, skin, and hormones. Do it for a week, and you'll definitely feel the difference. 10. Remember: what's good for them is usually good for you too. We're mammals. They're mammals. The fundamentals are remarkably similar. Discipline matters. Knowledge matters. Having a purpose and a partner makes change easier. So why not decide that your purpose is for both you and your pet to get healthier? RULE #6 OF THE PRIMAL DIET Do not eat... rock salt. Salt is a rock, and our body cannot process rocks. It has a toxic effect, different from the sodium found as a nutrient in plant or animal foods. Water dissolves rocks, and plants eat rocks, then animals eat plants, and we eat the plants or animals. This for us is food, the minerals are made into nutrients, becoming bio-available. Rock salt is very different from the sodium found in food. According to Aajonus, rock salt is an explosive: "I just want to make sure that you understand salt is dangerous. Salt is an explosive. It is more volatile than nitroglycerin. If you had a pure cake of sodium as big as a football it would take out all of New York City. Just like a 200 ton hydrogen bomb could take out New York City and all of its buildings. So [...] the government, the military gave General Electric 2 billion dollars to make a weapon, out of salt. My father worked on the project for 6 years. It was so untenable they could not make it into a bomb, thank God. Because one and a half degree temperature change a completely isolated sodium could set it off. So they could never temper it, never break it down and ulitize it." — Aajonus Rock salt is a mineral formed from sodium chloride (NaCl). When eating rock salt, during digestion, the sodium is separated from the chloride, so the sodium ion becomes isolated. Isolated sodium is more volatile than nitroglycerin, this is when it becomes an explosive. So during digestion and after, this isolated sodium creates micro-explosions in the blood, destroying other nutrients and killing cells. Aajonus describes in detail what is happening on a cellular level: "When the cell eats normally, there’s a whole network – smorgasbord of nutrients – anywhere from 97 to 117 nutrients…all your vitamins…all your minerals, fats …all the 60 varieties of cholesterol that can be formed …all the different proteins – pyruvates – all 22 amino acids. Everything is in this smorgasbord. When a cell eats, it gets the whole dose and it’s completely nutrified. When salt is eaten, it causes explosions of these nutrients so you may only get 27 or 57 of these nutrients into a cell at once. So every cell becomes deficient any time you use salt with a meal. Not only that, it dehydrates cells." Additionally, when the isolated sodium doesn't explode right away, it can draw other isolated sodium ions to itself, creating sodium clusters, and the magnetism of them can rip off the guts of cells. This makes using rock salt the second worst thing next to cooking in standard diet practices. "One million red blood cells are destroyed by one little grain of salt.", claims Aajonus. Of course, this is not noticeable right away, but long term, it creates significant damage. When part of raw foods, even during digestion, sodium is always bound to other nutrients, they are always connected on a chemical level, it doesn't get isolated and therefore doesn't have this damaging effect. This is why it is key to get sodium from food only. The body detoxifies the unusable, isolated, form of sodium by sweating it out when possible (the body is throwing it off, don't put it back in). Salt also ends up getting stored like most toxins that the body cannot process because they are in excess, which can lead to headaches when it finally gets detoxified. People who have been eating raw and salt-free for many years will often have an immediate reaction when eating salt: Aajonus explains that is what a healthy body does, it has the resources to immediately repeal a toxin instead of "giving up" and storing it somewhere in its tissues, getting more damaged from it. Rock salt also starts tasting too strong, which people report when eating salted cheese after having only eaten raw unsalted cheese for a while. What about salt licks? First of all, herbivores do this, not carnivores. What about sodium needs, and salt cravings? Needs are not the same with raw and cooked foods, but in either case, you get enough sodium from eating raw foods, there is plenty in raw milk, raw celery juice, raw tomatoes, and raw oysters. At least one or two of these foods can easily be added daily to anyone's diet. "Celery contains lots of sodium. The blood is very high like the ocean in sodium, Celery meets that almost perfectly without causing the clumping of the sodium molecules that rock salt does. Salt will destroy red blood cells very quickly, numbs nerves, burns them, ages prematurely inside even without noticing it, until it hits all of a sudden." — Aajonus Note: This is about eating salt. When used in bath, salt doesn't penetrate through the skin, and draws toxins out. It can still be drying and people without moisturized skin could get skin irritation from it.show more

Blue-Green Algae at Red Bud Isle☠️🐶 Austin, TX -... Austin Watershed Protection staff have observed thick mats of blue-green algae, some of which may be toxic, notably near Red Bud Isle on Lady Bird Lake and at Walsh Boat Landing on Lake Austin. Samples were collected at all six monitoring sites on the lakes for testing. At this time of year, blue-green algae mats may be present in other parts of either lake and our creeks. Community members should be cautious and avoid contact with algae. They should keep dogs away from water with algae mats. The mats usually look like dark blobs floating on the surface and can be mixes of different kinds of algae. They may be mixed in with aquatic vegetation. As the weather continues to heat up, conditions for algae will become more favorable, and we expect to see more in our waterways. Assess Before You Enter Waterways If any of the following conditions are present, stay out of the water. They could indicate reduced water quality. •Algae along the shoreline •Stagnant, warm or murky water •Scum or surface film. In addition, do not enter the water if there has been rain in the past three days. After Entering the Water •Do not drink water directly from natural water bodies. •Avoid contact with algae. •Rinse skin, hair, and animal fur thoroughly after contact with water. •Do not allow pets to lick their fur before rinsing them off. If you or your pet experiences sudden, unexplained illness after swimming, contact your medical provider or veterinarian immediately. Residents are encouraged to report suspected human or animal illnesses related to algae using the City’s online reporting form. The mats of blue-green algae present at Red Bud Isle are similar in appearance to conditions in May and June in previous years. For the past five years, we have applied lanthanum-modified clay to manage sediment phosphorus in an effort to reduce the growth of algae as part of a $1.5 million pilot program. This year is a control year with no application so we can evaluate the effectiveness of the pilot program and whether it is beneficial to continue investing public funds at the previous level. Algae is not the only risk when spending time on Austin’s waterways. Natural water bodies can contain algae, bacteria, parasites, and other hazards. *Austin Watershed Protectionshow more
