I made a second version of the transformation video.... This time I moved the character into a real environment instead of using a plain white background. I also changed the opening and showed the final transformation result first. The overall flow feels much stronger now. Full workflow + prompts: The interesting part is that this type of video is much easier to make than it looks. You only need a base image, then generate the next keyframe through simple edits or outfit changes on the canvas. The entire transformation sequence is built from those keyframes.show more

I've seen a lot of animatics lately that are... super detailed, essentially viewport previews of the final shot. But an animatic at it's core doesn't need to be anything fancy. Its main purpose is to plan and test the timing, camera angles, movement, and overall composition. With animatics you have to keep in mind the following: Pre-visualization: It allows to see a basic version of the animation or scene before committing to detailed work. Timing and pacing: An animatic helps identify how long each scene or shot should last, ensuring that the timing feels right. Planning: It helps with layout, camera angles, and transitions. By visualizing the shots, the team can ensure that the framing and overall design of the scenes work well in 3D space. Efficiency: It allows the team to test and fix any potential issues early on, like awkward movements or awkward pacing, before spending time on high-quality rendering or complex animation. In short, an animatic helps in conceptualizing the final animation by giving a low-res, rough version of the scenes, which guides the entire production process in terms of visual design, timing, and storytelling.show more

Latest clip of the actuator. This is a single... layer. It works sort of like a stepper motor, but runs linearly. Next step is to add more layers. But first I have to fix an issue with friction. It’s an easy fix, but will require a new flex PCB order, which will take a week or so.show more

Played around with the Meta Glasses for an hour.... Some observations. - First impressions. Pretty awesome piece of tech. Doesn’t look any different from any other wayfarer. Fits well. Light on the head. No headache. - Great little toy. Clicks decent pics. Can’t record for long. But good enough. Plays great music. Speakers are great. Don’t need earplugs. Can just say “Hey meta play this song” - “Hey Meta, what I am seeing” Best use case is wearing AI on your head. I looked at a book, asked it what I am seeing, it described the book, even gave a review and a short biography of the author. It translates text as well. Handsfree. - Do you really need it? The Taking of the Relic Made with GPT Image... 2 + Seedance 2 on mitte.ai This time I started with a storyboard, then moved to video. The main reason is cost. Video iterations burn credits really fast. With a storyboard, I can tweak things shot by shot and catch issues early, which is way cheaper. It also makes the whole process more controllable. I can adjust each shot on its own, so the character, composition, and key elements stay consistent. Pacing gets figured out early. Once the storyboard is done, the flow is pretty much set. Finally got Sonics hands working and most of the... camera issues working in the Sonic Adventure VR mod! My son is playing right now and just did a boss battle and loves it already. I need to fix Sonics open hand pose but not a terrible job with setting the poses in blender 😅show more

Good morning and where do I start? I’m so... proud of the man you’re becoming and I’m so thankful to have you in my life. The first player I met and the first player I had dinner with after I became the receivers coach at Baylor. Yes I’m speaking it into existence but it’s also the feeling I have when I tell you God truly has a calling on your life. The person you are lets me know the lord is and will continue to bless you more than you can imagine. I love you like a son, little brother, nephew, etc…. Played receiver for a big time program like Baylor, played in the NFL, from the great state of Texas but more importantly a GREAT person and man of God.
