Of course, dog wardens were called, and the answer was SORRY WE HAVE NOWHERE FOR THEM TO GO AND THEY WILL BE PTS 💔💔 Thankfully, one of the angels had a farm and was able to give them shelter and care for the last week whilst desperately looking for someone to help them. One of our Facebook members contacted Louise and told her their plight and of course, straight away she said yes. WE HAVE TO HELP🙏🙏 So now to the dogs and how they are, they are not good, its absolutely heartbreaking 💔 5 boy golden retrievers likely have been used for breeding/puppy farming 😡. All varying ages, 1 very old boy. 1 has a neck injury we think from being tied up, he is also severely matted. 4 are terrified , 1 petrified. We have an old boy who is ok . WHAT WE NEED .... Louise has arranged for them to be transported to our kennels this weekend so firstly they can decompress and secondly we can get them all vet checked. They are all underweight un-neutered and some may be in pain 💔. NOW THIS IS THE UK SO WE ARE TALKING THOUSANDS HERE TO NOT HUNDREDS IN VET BILLS . The plan is that once we get them sorted medically we then can place them in fosters. The older boy is an absolute star and I believe can go into foster after his vet check. Sometimes it’s silence. Sitting in the car for 20 minutes, unable to turn the key. Smiling through meetings when your heart feels like it’s collapsed. Waking in the night, dreaming they’re still here. But grief also lives in the everyday moments you don’t see - Seeing someone with a bald head in the supermarket and instantly reliving chemotherapy wards. Wanting to hug a stranger going through treatment and say, “I respect you. I feel for you.” Turning off adverts about cancer. Lowering the volume when the “C word” is mentioned on the radio. Avoiding social events because you just don’t have the energy to explain. As a dad, you’re taught to be strong. To hold it all together. But what if holding it together means never truly healing? Grief doesn’t make you weak. It makes you real. And sharing it might be the strongest thing you ever do. The situation here in northern Gaza is beyond any... imagination. For hours now, the army has been dropping flares on us, turning the night into a terrifying daytime. The danger surrounds us from every side, especially after the evacuation leaflets that demanded two million people to flee to the south. Displacement is not an easy solution; it is a journey of suffering. After three days of searching and despair, I found a safe place in the south where we can set up our tent. But the problem is that the cost of this place is very high, 1400£ just to secure the spot. I have paid 400£ to secure the reservation, and I need to complete the remaining amount to ensure a safe place for my family. Furthermore, we need 1000£ to cover the costs of transportation to get there. We will not ask for a new tent; we will take our old one that holds our memories and will be our last refuge. HTML Artifacts are a big part of how I... work with agents now. Artifacts can be more than just static files. When combined with agents, they can take action or help you take action. This unlocks all kinds of interesting ways to work with agents. This is clearly the future. Check out this writing and scheduler artifact I built in a few minutes. It uses a bit of HTML and JS. All the data is in markdown (Obsidian vaults), so the agent can access and modify it at any time. No DB needed. No sophisticated functionalities. The agent decides all that for me based on the skills, context, and memory it has access to. The best part about this simple stack is that all the important information stays with me. This has allowed me to build a recursive self-improving system and automations that can better tap into coding agents like Codex or Claude Code. I could have paid or built an entire app for scheduling posts, and there are so many of them out there. But I don't need to. I've realized a simple artifact does the job. And the simplicity of it is actually an advantage. Very little maintenance for very high returns on personalization, time, and efficiency. The other benefit of this is that I can add features as I please. That level of personalization feels magical, and we should all be pursuing more of it. All of this just keeps compounding. Of course, this example is just about writing. But I have similar artifacts for research, design, experimentation, evaluation, and so much more. And no, I didn't actually publish the post example I shared in the clip. It was just for demonstration purposes. I actually spend more time than this when writing together with agents. Lastly, having built my own agent orchestrator tool has made me realize that simplifying the tool stack is a superpower. This is one of the nicest things about China:... whatever happens to you, you can always count on people's solidarity. This is what just happened to us. We wanted to park our RV right next to Hulun lake for the night but stupidly managed to get it stuck in the sand. Impossible to drive out anymore 😓 Immediately, and I mean immediately, people around us started to pitch in to help. Luckily it so happened that a group of ex-PLA soldiers were having a get-together barbecue 100 meters away from us. They got told about our issue, stopped their barbecue and came to help. They told us "don't worry, no matter what we'll get you out, it's just a matter of time". Before we know it, one of the guys takes the wheel of the RV and the others start pushing. In 5 minutes, job done! RV unstuck and the guys get back to their barbecue. The Chinese are often depicted as cold and distant but my consistent experience is that they're one of the kindest people in the world, always ready to help a fellow human in need!show more

Hey X, Family, friends, and warriors on here, I... need to share something heavy that's been on my heart for only a couple of days. The doctors recently gave me news of cancer and a short 12-month timeline at best. I call BS on that. I feel strong, I'm fighting with everything I have, and I'm positive I'll beat this by God's grace. I'm anxiously waiting on a second opinion from another oncologist right now. Today I broke the news to my kiddos, all but the one overseas. My minors at home (including our new little Spider-Man who's been adjusting with us the past week after coming from a tough situation) and my college boy are now in the know. As a widower with no other living relatives, these boys depend on me, and I've never hidden things from them. We prayed together and we're standing on faith. I've only been carrying this quietly for a couple days, but I can't keep it hidden any longer. So many of you depend on me for the behind-the-scenes help and encouragement, and I have several close friends right here on this platform who have beaten the odds ,true God's warriors. Their testimonies fire me up. I know I'll join them in victory. Scripture I'm standing on: " Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up." (James 5:14-15) Also, "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."
