Three wanted suspects have been killed in a gunfight... with KZN police in Kranskop during the early hours of this morning. According to the SAPS: "Police acted on intelligence which uncovered the whereabout of the suspects and when they approached a residence at Mambulu area, a shootout ensued between police and an unknown number of suspects. Three suspects were shot and fatally wounded during the shootout and they were found in possession of firearms." The men are linked to this brazen cash van robbery in Kranskop in April this year, where one robber was killed in the explosion. During the incident, the gunmen also fired shots at the local police station. More armed suspects - who were able to escape arrest this morning - are still being sought. A story in 4 acts 👇 We stupidly drained... the RV's battery during the night by leaving both air condition units at full blast all night long and it wouldn't start anymore... Some kind locals here in Yining tried to help with a jump starter but it wouldn't work because the problem is with the main EV battery, not the engine battery. So we got a tow truck to drop the RV at a charging site. Now we just need to wait for the battery to charge and we're back on the road. As we call it in our family: type 2 fun 😊show more

I had a good meeting with the Prime Minister... of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen Statsministeriet. We discussed the continuation of military support and direct investments in Ukraine’s defense industry. Denmark is one of the leaders in supporting our state and is preparing the 26th package of military aid for Ukraine. This support helps save lives, and we deeply appreciate it. We also talked about the negotiations in Istanbul and the coordination of diplomatic efforts with the U.S. and European partners. We share the view that pressure on Russia is crucial if they refuse to agree to a ceasefire. In July this year, Denmark will begin its Presidency of the EU Council. We are counting on their support for Ukraine’s European integration, which we discussed during the meeting.
