Recently finished the initial development of an #erosion tool... to automatically #monitor #island change in Maldives. The tool produce the plot of island size change over time. It integrates the past 1.5 years of work by several junior researchers on 1) seamless #orthomaiscing of satellite images over large areas, 2) robust #cloudcover detection over island nations, and 3) shoreline delineation.
