i wish this wasn’t real, but bro!! this was... my experience just this morning, this was someone i took on a date last week of december, we were meant to meet up again, but she had to leave for service(in the east) on her arrival we couldn’t talk, i texted her on snap(see first media) but she didn’t reply, two days later i texted her on whatsapp and the message didn’t tick twice, it was then i realized something is wrong, i had to call her, she explained to that her phone got bad on her arrival, she asked me for financial assistance, i sent her the money to fix the phone, days later she didn’t mention anything about the phone, then i had to ask her during one of our conversation, it was then she told me that “it’s a panel issue, it cant be fixed anymore” i sympathized with her then continued our conversation, days later she asked for another money for the same phone fixing, i explained my current situation to her, i told her about the expenses on me and i can’t spend anymore money out of budget, she grumbled and sighed, i had to apologize to her lol, just two days back i noticed she reposted a post on her ticktock and the message on whatsapp finally ticked twice, i asked her on call if she has fixed the phone, she said no, saying that the money i sent won’t be enough since it’s panel issue, i said okay,( though i was suspicious but i didn’t make a big deal out of it) lo and behold i came across her tiktok page with a new post(content) i asked her about the phone and this was her response(last media), i deleted her number and blocked her.💔💔💔show more

My first meeting with Harmanpreet Kaur lasted only a few minutes, to fix an interview. Looking back, though, it's an interaction that changed the questions I asked and the stories I chose to tell. It was just before the 2016 T20 World Cup. I was in Ranchi covering my first international assignment in women's cricket. Like any young reporter, I had done my homework beforehand. Then I spent the week putting faces to the names, and learning their stories. And when I finally met Harmanpreet, I called her by the wrong name. It was an honest mistake. I was mortified nonetheless. Harman, however, barely reacted. She brushed past it just as effortlessly as I had blurted it out, and carried on with the conversation. It was an embarrassing mistake, one that the overthinker in me couldn't move past. But Harman's non-reaction honestly hit me with the hardest reality of women's cricket. Misidentification wasn't unusual back then. So common, in fact, that the players had simply learned to live with it. There was no outrage in Harman's response, no attempt to make me feel worse than I already did. Typically unfazed, she just simply moved the conversation along. A cat walked by my house last night and... immediately came in looking for food and water. It was thin, dirty but very friendly. My first thought, this has to be a house cat who lost its way. Then I saw it's ears, and hold up, this looks like a purebred cat. So I brought it to the vet to confirm, maybe it had a loving owner who put in a microchip, maybe it was already spayed/neutered. Unfortunately, the vet confirmed it's a female, less than 2 years old but already had babies. And it is an American curl. Most likely, a backyard breeder used her as a kitten mill, then threw her out when there was a problem? This is the heartbreaking reality of the irresponsible practices of backyard breeders. Many have asked why I have been so silent... these past weeks. I'm heartbroken to say my beautiful, darling wife passed away on Thursday. She had held my heart in her hand from the first moment I saw her and we shared 36 wonderful years together. She had bravely battled cancer with courage and fortitude for many years yet still never lost the ability to light up a room with her beautiful smile, her wonderful sense of humour and her laughter. Not once did she give up the hope for life. I truely believe there is more to this existence than we know and that one day we shall be reunited by our love for each other, a love that was so honest and so real and so true. Until then I shall hold her tightly in my heart. When my daughter and I returned home from the hospital a red rose had appeared in our garden. It was right outside our door and had appeared from nowhere in a clump of dry weeds. Red roses were my wife’s favorite flower. She wore 3 in her hair at our wedding and carried a bouquet of red roses. I had asked her to send me a sign before she passed to say she was ok. It must have been sent by her.
