In doing so, the US aims to prevent Iran from collecting fees from shipping companies for passage through the Strait of Hormuz and to deprive it of revenue from oil sales. The incident involving the Palau-flagged bulk carrier Lady Naeima was reported at around 07:19 UTC on 5 July, approximately 30 nautical miles southwest of Al Hudaydah, Yemen. According to #MarineTraffic data, the 137-metre bulker is now underway in the Gulf of Aden, sailing at around 13.8 knots and heading for Kandla, India. The vessel crossed Bab el-Mandeb at 17:03 UTC on 5 July and later entered the Gulf of Aden at 20:28 UTC, after leaving the incident area. The Lady Naeima is currently sailing in ballast, with a reported draught of 5.1 metres, and an estimated arrival at Kandla on 12 July.show more

The IDF announces that its 162nd Division has completed... preparations ahead of deployment in southern Lebanon. The military says the division is ready to "receive orders in accordance with the situational assessment." If the 162nd is deployed, it would bring the total number of IDF divisions operating in southern Lebanon to five. Currently, the 146th division is deployed to the western sector of southern Lebanon; the 91st and 36th are operating in the eastern sector; and the 210th is stationed in the Mount Dov area.
