FSD 12.5 runs a red light I want to... share this to have a healthy discussion regarding this situation. This isn't in anyway an attempt to hate on FSD 12.5, I still believe this is the best release of FSD so far. Yesterday on my drive FSD for the first time ever (for me) decided to proceed on a VERY stale (red?) light. I was a bit surprised about its decision to do this, and I am wondering if perhaps the traffic light being set back (before the intersection starts there's a light on my left) has anything to do with this? Technically the car passes the light/stop line as it is still yellow. As a human driver I may have proceeded on this light if I was in a rush, but I am not sure if a robotaxi should make that same decision. FSD edge case from my Dad for Tesla AI... “I was going 80 mph on FSD and a polythene sheet was airborne and got stuck to my car. FSD mistook it for a solid object and braked really hard. From 80 mph to 24 mph. Luckily the car behind me was far away”show more

Joe shared the raw footage with me and fed... it through CamCutApp Based on the telemetry it does appear that FSD turned the wheel back in the last moment before the driver took over. This happened really fast and probably pretty scary to experience. FSD seems to have reacted to a phantom orb and veered towards the oncoming vehicle for a moment.show more

Wow! FSD 14.3.2 just saved my cybertruck and 4... deer by stopping and swerving as I was going 73 mph in pitch dark at midnight. I didn’t touch anything. I don’t even know if I would have even reacted so fast without avoid them. So thankful for FSD 🙏🏼 This isn’t the first time it’s slowed for a deer but this is the most aggressive action it has taken to avoid and can clearly see how quick it is for reaction. This is one of the most amazing things I’ve... ever seen FSD do. On a nighttime drive, it makes a lane change seemingly for no reason at all. A fun new hobby of mine is taking the... Tesla to different areas to see how FSD performs. A few days ago I drove from Long Island to Atlantic City. FSD did 99% of the driving. The traffic was very mixed for most of the trip so I considered it a real challenge. Here are a few interesting moments. First time I had Tesla FSD disengage because of weather. Kind of a bummer to see FSD V14.3.2 missing... something this simple. In the past, I’ve seen the car understand and react to “turn only” line paint with 100% accuracy, but for some reason it’s just totally missing this. I’ve had it happen in this spot multiple times recently. Plenty of time to see this and react to it too :/show more

FSD 14.2.2.5 on Mad Max gets pulled over by... a State Trooper for speeding 🚔🚨 A few interesting observations: When passing the State Trooper, FSD saw the vehicle and moved over into the left lane to yield more space (albeit without slowing down). When the trooper turned his lights on, FSD did initiate a turn signal as if it was going to pull off onto the shoulder. Unfortunately, I disengaged at this point and didn’t get to see if FSD would’ve actually stopped. Fortunately, only a warning was issued for speeding (allegedly). 🎟️show more
