Einstein’s wildest theory wasn't that time flows. It’s that... time is a physical fabric, and you can warp it. According to his equations, the future is not a distant destination, it is a speed limit. If you move fast enough through space, your clock slows down while the rest of the world rushes ahead. You don't need a time machine to reach the future. You just need enough speed to leap into it.show more

I don't specifically recall EVER seeing the eyewall features... of any tropical cyclone appearing to be *flashing* like a strobe light like this! The speed of rotation within the eyewall is so fast that each time the satellite image updates, each eyewall feature is in a totally different place, and this gives us the strobe light effect. This is truly awe-inspiring to witness. This is pushing the physical limits of how strong a storm can possibly get on the face of this planet.show more

🤩 I just learned a super cool trick! Do... you know how sometimes you want to record while you scroll on a website, like for a demo or something... But by using the mouse to scroll it turns out to be kinda janky and it doesn't look very good? No? Just me? 🤭 Well, I found out that if you paste this code in the console of your browser: ` setInterval(() => window.scrollBy(0, 4), 16); ` You can make the browser automatically scroll for you! And it looks super cool in the recording! 😎show more

Not just mechanically, mentally, too. You can’t hit with a crowded head. Let the last pitch or at-bat go. One pitch at a time. One slow breath at a time. One simple thought at time. ——— Now, go win. ——— Save this for when you need it. I've been wanting to say this for months. This... is what Web3 should look like. With NBA Top Shot and Dapper Labs, NFTs don't SUCK. You don't need to know what blockchain is and you don't need forever to set up a wallet and add crypto JUST to get started. (There's little mention of the words blockchain or NFT in the platform itself.) The platform's UX is top-of-the-line considering it's in beta. It's so easy to use and navigate. Transactions are so fast and cheap. As a designer myself, I'm really impressed. Not to even mention the Tiktok-like experience on the mobile app! Most importantly, you're not collecting just over-glorified digital cats or apes, but moments by real people— athletes. I've tried many Web3 or NFT products and this doesn't even come close. You're not going to revolutionize your product by changing "Connect" to "Sign in". This should've been obvious from the beginning. IT'S MORE THAN THAT. The future of Web3 is here. Take note!show more
