𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐌 🛡️ Zack is walking Wetlands in the Forever beta and tells chat there is a very high probability they go PVE on release, because people will try to attack them on screen. "There's a very high probability that we just go PVE server on release." I think a streamer this size gets hunted the second they step into a PVP zone, so PVE is the only way they actually get to play.show more

Pufferfish release a toxin when they puff out that... is meant to impair the attacker. This doesn’t work on Dolphins in the same way. It gets them high. So they purposely inflate them and pass them around to their dolphin friends for fun.show more

This is the kind of play that eye testers... have a hard time with, but also shows why catch probability is so useful. This ball had just a 55% catch probability, and is just made to look so easy by Ceddanne Rafaela. It's all about what you don't see on the screen, because it happens before the camera is on the play. The jump is 9.0 feet above average. He was positioned well into right-center. Lesser outfielders win catch on the week on this one with a full extension dive.show more

Is it that people don't value their lives...? Or... that they don't think they have the power to rein in the driver...? Or maybe they are the ones in a rush...? Whatever it maybe, a vehicle this size, carrying that many people, doing 150Kph on our roads isn't a very good idea!show more

I've had some replies that this Pete Crow-Armstrong catch... IS actually a routine play, so here is a VERY similar play: The CF has the exact same distance to cover, and .2 of a second longer to get there. The CF (Carroll) was faster on the play, by about a foot per second. It's a double:show more

Hey Battlestate Games Nikita Buyanov, There is a very... big game breaking issue with Local PVE that was sent to me over the last 24 hours. I won’t go into any specifics on how it’s done publicly, but it requires no cheating software and can be done by almost anybody. Video Example:show more

This Wyatt Langford catch from yesterday is a great... example of why catch probability is good to know. Just a 45% catch probability here. Why? Any MLB outfielder catches this ball if they get there. Most can't get there. Langford's jump is elite, +8.7 feet above the average outfielder. The jump is so good he doesn't even have to get up to top speed. This is just a routine double into the gap much of the time, and the TV viewer thinks nothing of it:show more

HANDLE THE BALL AGAINST PRESSURE This clip is a... masterclass in handling the ball against pressure. Most players think that the more moves they make, the better BallHandler they are. In reality, a players ability to Start-Go-Stop is what makes them productive. Do you have a starting move that can get you downhill. On that ‘go’ can you be in control under pressure. Then, do you have the ability to stop to create separation, and be comfortable in a face up so that you can make a decision and play.show more

This is a single-high beater designed to hit DK... Metcalf on the crosser and if the ball is in stride, it's a footrace to the end zone. But that would require actually throwing over the middle, so we throw a foul ball to a backup wideout instead.show more

The thing I help hitters with the most.. (1... good way to train it👇🏼) They start on time but never actually get loaded to GO. They think they’re ready. They’re not. So they start earlier next time. Same problem. —— This is a conversation I have with almost every hitter. When is the right time for you? - Based on your load style - Based on how long your load takes - Based on the pitcher’s velo, windup, or slide step —— If that’s you, try a “loaded at release” type load. Bobby Witt. Judge. Get your hip and elbow loaded early. Then stride with it ready to fire. “The pitcher is up there for 20 seconds telling you to get ready. Shame on you if you’re not ready to swing.” ____ If I have you in the cage, what I’ll do is have you get into a no stride position, get ready to swing and I stand there for 1-4 seconds… Holding my hand out over the plate ready to snap my fingers. When I snap, you swing. Do that 4-5x. You get the quickness, readiness feeling. Then we go back to stride with moving ball and you’re trying to time up that same GO move with the ball With your foot up in the air and the GO will make the foot go down. Not foot down then swing. That typically kills quickness. This works 95% of the time I’d say! —— > Send this to a hitter who needs it > Save it for when you need it.show more
