Here is my first drive on FSD V14.1.7 (with commentary). No interventions the entire drive. Overall, no major issues. It does feel a little smoother than 14.1.4. Mad Max Mode also seems to have a slightly lower top speed on the highway, and drives more comfortably, which is good. Looking forward to V14.2! 4K version in thread below.

Here is my first drive on FSD V14.1.7 (with commentary). No interventions the entire drive. Overall, no major issues. It does feel a little smoother than 14.1.4. Completed a 40 minute drive today using Tesla FSD V14.1.1, which included highways, more urban driving and multiple destinations. Didn't experience any major issues or interventions. Impressive ending at the Supercharger. I also show what the new Sloth mode is like on the highway. Full drive with commentary below. 2X speed video in 4K with no talking linked in thread below.

CNET after testing Tesla FSD V14: I Drove Over 100 Miles With Tesla's Latest Full Self-Driving and Never Touched the Wheel. "Four days, 4 hours and 100 miles through San Francisco. I'm now fully convinced Tesla's FSD system is the future of driving. It drove me through it all. Tight curbside streets, janky parking garages, rain-slicked freeways, and even the crooked mess of Lombard Street -- both in dry and wet weather -- all without a hiccup. It handled it better than some people I saw reversing down driveways. I never felt the need to take over. Parking was the cherry on top. It would pull into or reverse into spaces, even in tight garages. Occasionally, I'd pick the exact space I wanted, but most of the time, I just let it do its thing. And it did it well. I've used Autopilot plenty, in the UK where FSD isn't a thing. But FSD is miles ahead. I'd be lying if I said it didn't feel slightly magical. I've never driven in San Francisco before. I didn't know the streets. But the car did. And I trusted it. That's the key takeaway here: I trusted the system. At no point did I clench, panic, or even hesitate. The idea that Tesla is alone in the race to develop end-to-end vision system for self-driving and delivering into consumer vehicles is officially dead. Like dead, dead. I tested Xpeng's VLA 2.0 in the streets of Beijing, and it is comparable to my experience of daily driving Tesla FSD v14. Xpeng is not charging $100 a month to drive this. It is inlcuded in its higher-trim vehicles and it already caught the attention of Volkswagen, which is going to integrate into its own vehicles - something Tesla hasn't been able to do despite trying. Barely hours after the Telangana public bus wing, RTC employees went on strike for long pending unresolved issues & unfulfilled promises, the government thought it will be smart to hire anyone who can drive to run the buses. Just a while ago, an RTC bus rammed into a lorry injuring most passengers on board in Karimnagar. Reason: they got a private driver to ply on the road without even a conductor.
