Great topic. One underrated thing that truly works: people. A meta-analysis of 148 studies and 308,849 participants (PLoS Med 2010) found stronger social relationships linked to a 50% higher likelihood of survival over the study periods.

The hardest part: most people can't name ONE longevity habit they've actually dropped after learning it didn't work. Which myth on your list surprised you most when the data fell apart?

Me: watching a longevity influencer sell $80 supplements. Also me: remembering we can't even fund viral load testing for sick people.

That plus I am beginning to conclude Red Light Therapy is a crock. I spent over $2,000 on RLT light panels, and the only outcome that I have noticed is that I am $2,000 poorer.

Bottom line: for all the longevity hype, the world has yet to see a single person who is shockingly young in appearance and function for their age. There are longevity leaderboards -- populated mostly by younger men who's bioage (as measured by our very crude tests today) is a few years younger than their chronoage. Who will be the first person to achieve a Rejuvenation Ratio (ChronoAge / BioAge) >= 2?
