Before GTA VI: Remember how much more alive GTA V’s trailers felt compared to the final game. With all the excitement surrounding GTA VI, I recently went back and watched a comparison between GTA V’s trailers and the finished game. Some of the differences were genuinely interesting. What stood... out most wasn’t the graphics, vegetation, lighting, or overall visual quality. In fact, in certain areas, the final game actually looked better than what was shown in the trailers. The biggest difference was the atmosphere. Many of the trailer shots made Los Santos feel incredibly alive, with NPCs behaving in ways that felt natural and believable. People seemed less like scripted game characters and more like real individuals simply going about their daily lives. That’s not a criticism of Rockstar at all. GTA V still went on to become one of the greatest and most successful games ever made. If anything, it’s a reminder that trailers are carefully directed and edited to create a specific mood, showcase the world at its best, and tell a compelling visual story. Lately, I’ve seen people dissecting every second of GTA VI footage—analyzing reflections, interiors, shadows, crowd density, and countless tiny environmental details from just a few brief clips. It really shows how enormous expectations have become. Personally, I’d rather keep my expectations grounded. If GTA VI ends up surpassing them, that will make the experience even more impressive. But if we spend years imagining a perfect version of the game, the final product will always have an impossible standard to live up to.show more

Rockstar just gave us the best look yet at non-enterable buildings in GTA VI It's not a straight up png like in GTA V and other open world games with skyscrapers but at the same time, it doesn't have anywhere near the detail as the rest of the game. What I'm really curious about is actually going there and seeing if the level of detail changes if I'm standing right Infront of it.

Hot take, but I’ve always felt Vice City is easily the worst GTA. I’ve never fully understood the hype around it. Don’t get me wrong the atmosphere is amazing, the 80s vibe is iconic, and the soundtrack is one of the best in the series. Tommy and Ken are great characters too. But once past that, the game itself doesn’t hold up as well for me. The map feels small and empty, especially compared to San Andreas, and even GTA 3 felt bigger in some ways. Driving around and exploring isn’t that fun, which is a huge part of what makes GTA games enjoyable. The missions are where it really loses me. Many feel repetitive or straight-up frustrating, especially early on. The RC helicopter mission inside the building is a perfect example more annoying than fun. It often feels like the game is just throwing obstacles at you instead of offering natural progression. To me, it’s always felt more like a quick follow-up to GTA 3 than a fully evolved entry, leaning heavily on style over substance. It has its moments, but compared to the other GTA games, it just doesn’t hit the same.

To give you a perspective on how advanced the NPC interaction system in GTA VI is going to be, here's a direct comparison between GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 In GTA V, the only option is to greet or insult NPCs depending on the character that you're playing as, in this case here Trevor will insult them. Red Dead Redemption 2 on the other hand has a completely different NPC interaction system where you have the option to greet, antagonize or rob NPCs. These options alone can give you the freedom to greet an NPC first, then immediately antagonize them to allow for different outcomes based on how you choose to interact with NPCs. It would genuinely surprise me if Rockstar introduced dynamic world progression in RDR2 only to leave it behind in GTA 6. Personally, I’m fully expecting the map to evolve alongside the story. Imagine passing a construction site early in the game, then watching it gradually transform into a finished skyscraper as the narrative unfolds. That kind of environmental progression would make the world feel incredibly alive. Rockstar has experimented with this idea before. In earlier GTA games, certain story missions permanently altered the map for example, destroying a building would leave its remains there for the rest of the game. RDR2 took that concept much further, with locations, buildings, and entire areas changing over time as the story progressed. Given Rockstar’s track record, it’s hard to imagine them not expanding on that system in GTA 6. They rarely abandon features that make their worlds feel more immersive, and with nearly a decade of technological advances and far more powerful hardware since RDR2, this feels like the perfect opportunity to push environmental progression even further.

I'm always blown away by the fact that Rockstar Games casually made some of the best and most realistic water physics in 2008. GTA IV is the prime example of Rockstar Games focusing heavily on bringing realistic physics in a video-game. Everything from how a car handles, NPC ragdoll and water simulation in Grand Theft Auto IV was way ahead of its time and it even beats most of AAA games that we've seen these past few years when it comes to those game mechanics. Imagine how much ahead GTA 6 is going to be now that Rockstar Games has much more processing power to work with on current gen consoles

One of the Grand Theft Auto V downsides was that it didn't match GTA IV in terms of euphoria ragdoll physics, in this example here you can see how easily the NPCs die when you shoot them on the foot. Part of the reason why I believe the euphoria engine was downgraded was due to the scale of GTA V and that it was designed for PS3/Xbox 360 consoles. Fast Forward a generation later, Red Dead Redemption 2 is much better compared to this, but I still prefer the one in Grand Theft Auto IV. When GTA VI comes out, perhaps we will see a more improved version of euphoria ragdoll physics which will be a mix of both GTA IV style ragdolls and Red Dead Redemption 2.

We want Turkish subtitles support in GTA VI. Please Rockstar Games Rockstar Support As Turkish gamers, we have played every game developed and published by Rockstar Games studio with great excitement and made good reviews and comments for each games. We are among the top 4 and 5 countries worldwide that gave positive comments for GTA 4 and GTA 5 on STEAM. Similarly, the same goes for Mafia, another game brand owned by Take-Two. Turkey is the third and fourth country with the most positive reviews on Steam worldwide for Mafia D.E. and Mafia 2 Classic. But unfortunately, there is no Turkish language support in any Rockstar game. We, the gamers, do not ask for much. We just want to experience the new GTA game with Turkish subtitles in our own language and play it with understanding. If GTA 6 is released with Turkish subtitle support, one of the countries where it will sell the most will be Türkiye. I guarantee that. All our content producers, all our internet provider brands, all our artists, all our sports club fan pages and all our game media channels have joined hands on this issue on social media. We all shout out the same demand; #WeWantGTA6inTurkish Even very small budget independent studios have the courage to release games with millions of words with Turkish language support, and as a result, they are satisfied and release their future games in Turkish. Because we Turks give a lot of support to every game that has our language support. You are Rockstar Games. You are the pinnacle of the gaming industry, the biggest. I am sure that the cost of this is much lower for you. However, the happiness it will create is so great that we want to experience GTA 6 in our own language as a member of your family. Please only provide us with subtitle support. We are aware of your greatness and magnificence and we have a small but very big request from you. Please let GTA 6 be in Turkish. This is the closest Game we have to compare to GTA VI in terms of Open-World Gameplay. This Matrix: Awakens footage was recorded on Xbox Series X and as you can see the FPS is struggling to stay above 30FPS. The resolution also takes a big hit when you start moving the camera too fast because of so much processing happening at the same time. Considering GTA 6 has probably 10X times the mechanics of NPCs behavior going on and physics that are miles ahead of this game, it's safe to say that a performance mode is going to be near impossible in a PS5/Xbox Series X and S Version. Perhaps when PS5 Pro launches we will get a 60FPS mode, but things are looking rough right now. I'm playing GTA V on a PS3 and its been such a fun experience. I remember when was a kid and playing this for the first time, I didn't give a damn about how BAD the framerate was during driving. I was constantly in awe by how realistic this game looked back then that the framerate wasn't something that was going to stop me from enjoying it. Don't get me wrong, this game is running on a PS3 that has 256mb of RAM and 256mb of VRAM which is some black magic itself and the fact that Rockstar Games managed to have such a massive open world game with that much traffic and NPCs running in real-time is a feat on its own.

Why don't we have this level of NPC density in recent AAA Games? Assassins Creed: Unity was by no means perfect, you can clearly see some NPCs popping into the frame while you're playing and some others not load properly, but it came out in 2014! It was designed on previous-gen consoles that ran on a Hard Drive and it was a game that was so rushed, Ubisoft never bothered to give it the love that it deserved. If there's one thing that still fascinates me about this game even today is the sheer number of NPCs that are rendered into this open world, it simply feels alive. By 2025, you'd think that most AAA game studios would have already gotten over these issues like NPCs popping into the frame and we would have Open World games that feel more alive than ever before. Nope, instead of huge number of NPCs, modern gaming companies are more focused on bringing Ray Tracing features which I have nothing against if it wasn't for having a such a small number of NPCs. I'm not an expert to determine what the exact reason behind having so few NPCs really is but I honestly would love if Ubisoft gave another shot at this kind of tech. Thankfully one of the games that looks like it will have this huge number of NPCs is Grand Theft Auto VI, by the screenshots and Trailers alone, it reminded me of how alive Unity really felt and I can't wait until that game comes out.

I really hope GTA 6 borrows heavily from Max Payne 3’s gunplay and bullet impact system. To this day, it’s still Rockstar’s best-feeling shooter in my opinion, and that game came out over a decade ago. The weight of the weapons, the reactions from enemies when getting hit, the animations, the sound design everything felt raw, brutal, and satisfying. Every shootout had intensity because the combat actually felt grounded and impactful instead of arcade-like. If GTA 6 can combine that level of shooting mechanics with an open-world environment, the combat could end up being incredible. It’s honestly crazy how well Max Payne 3 still holds up after all these years.

Hot Take: This is exactly what is wrong in Rockstar Game’s mission design. During this section in GTA V; I got stuck my vehicle between some rocks and I was trying to get it out As soon as I managed to get un-stuck, the Rockstar’s hand holding mechanism kicked in and the game decided it was a mission failed, prompting me to retry the mission. I don’t think these unnecessary mission failed screens should appear so often, especially in GTA VI. This is somewhat of an exaggeration but you get the point, sometimes just trying to take a different route or approach during a mission will get you the mission failed screen Recent Rockstar Games are rated M (GTA 6 too probably), so I don’t understand why Rockstar likes to treat gamers who play these games like children. Anyone with a logical brain will know that they’re stuck so they can pause the screen to restart from a checkpoint or destroy the vehicle to get the mission failed screen. I really hope that GTA VI offers more freedom for players when it comes to approaching missions and situation like these ones.

This is somewhat of an exaggeration but you get the point, sometimes just trying to take a different route or approach during a mission will get you the mission failed screen Recent Rockstar Games are rated M (GTA 6 too probably), so I don’t understand why Rockstar likes to treat gamers who play these games like children. Anyone with a logical brain will know that they’re stuck so they can pause the screen to restart from a checkpoint or destroy the vehicle to get the mission failed screen. I really hope that GTA VI offers more freedom for players when it comes to approaching missions and situation like these ones.

Let's talk about GTA 6 Trailer 3. The longer we go without a trailer 3, the more likely I think it is that Rockstar may just choose to move straight into a gameplay trailer. BUT - if there is a trailer 3, what do I expect? Have a look at RDR2 trailer 3 below: - It gave us a closer look at specific gameplay mechanics - train robberies, camp systems, side activities/shows. - It raised the stakes significantly. It showed us the villains, and the stakes that our characters were up against. Trailer 1 & 2 were fun trailers. I expect Trailer 3 to really show us what this game will be about, and what Jason & Lucia are up against.
