With respect John, I’m not sure it was the knock impacting this. We functioned better as a team with Taylor at LB. You could argue we haven’t played good football as a side since Tierney returned to the club. Not that he’s the catalyst for that, however he’s a contributor.

Expecting Celtic to adjust and take part in a good tactical battle assumes competence in the coaching staff.

Enjoyed this. Tierney cannot play inside as he can only play in straight lines due to injury and lack of technique. While Tounekti is poor this shows there a limited options for him v 2.

@Jseph193784489 Sadly often 3 players in the same line was something so common last season. I was forever noticing this with Tierney and Tounekti last season. Bumping into each other and taking each other’s space and playing like they had never ever trained with each other. Shambolic.

Wish I had your system to demonstrate how instead of KT not inverting it should be Calmac being more progressive. The issue stems from him looking to take the ball so deep, CM was completely disjointed. Don’t disagree with it all but I do disagree with a lot of the root causes.

Surely a 3-5-2 battle against one another would be the best tactical option? Celtic cant play Hogh up top alone and they need 3 some extra legs around McGregor.
