All of the best hitters in the world talk about keeping their head and eyes still. They are not trying to move them all over the place and collision hit to try and hit 95+ with 3 pitches & a scouting report. Of course your head and eyes will slightly move if you watch it on video. Cut this clip from Baldy because I think it’s a great example of Maye’s growth and the difference between him and someone like Caleb Williams Maye’s ability to keep his eyes up field inside the pocket, sense the pressure, move within the pocket, escape, and still keep his eyes up to make the throw… that’s a QB who feels comfortable Players like Caleb, you will see immediately put their head down, dip outside the pocket and by the time they look back up, Douglas is covered back up.
