American Airlines had two Boeing 737-800s operating as AA2482 — one arriving from Chicago (ORD), while another was preparing to depart Phoenix (PHX) for Chicago. JUST IN: Air traffic control audio released following a plane crash in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The plane, with five people on board, crashed in the parking lot of a retirement community. Multiple vehicles in the lot caught on fire. According to new audio, the pilot was heard telling ground agents that there was an open door and he couldn't hear anything because of the wind noise.
