Currently thinking about Apple's wonderful long introducing videos when introducing a new product category (+ bonus iOS 7)

I miss these types of product presentations and the old live keynotes!

One of these videos is from last year though 😭

The first 3 had very little tech specs mentioned. It was about the experience, the emotion, the aspirations. Now it's nits and nats and processes per second. Apple has become what they told resellers never to become .. a spec sales company.

The only specs in the Apple Vision Pro video are brief mentions of the resolution and chips, both of which are essential to the VR experience so…

I miss Jony Ive’s intros.

These videos go hard especially the jony Ive ones

Apple has lost its soul. The new product videos are slick but these people do not know how to sell product. Their product now sells due to the momentum of iPhone and their moat.

The first 3 are peak Apple.

Now they talk about specs bump specs bump specs bump. I yawned during last two keynotes. Lost its way.
