Daniel Day-Lewis has won the #Oscar for Best Actor on three occasions & each time, he’s demonstrated a level of class that I think is hard to replicate. His speech here after winning his latest award for Lincoln is tremendous. I still think DDL has another Academy Award in him.

Denzel Washington’s Oscar-nominated performance in Flight has to be at the top of the list when ranking Denzel’s best work. Had he not run into Daniel Day-Lewis for Lincoln, Denzel would’ve undeniably won a second Oscar for Best Actor. This is a painful story about the sacrifices veterans make & it’s some of Cruise’s best acting. I think the Cruise-Oliver Stone pairing is interesting in hindsight. 26 years later, Cruise might finally get that Oscar for Digger.
