Building a Skilled Maharashtra for a Stronger Future! Inaugurated the Nagpur Skill Centre today along with Hon Union Minister Nitin Gadkari ji. Established through the collaboration of AID and Tata, the centre will equip youth with industry-oriented skills and create a future-ready workforce. Under the visionary leadership of PM Narendra Modi Ji, skill development has become a national priority. Maharashtra is further strengthening this vision through a dedicated Skill Development Department, ensuring closer collaboration between the government, industry and educational institutions to enhance employability. The state's expanding healthcare, solar energy, EV and alternate fuel sectors are creating significant demand for skilled professionals. Maharashtra has become the first state to supply agricultural power through a 16,000 MW Agri Solar network, with 2000 solar feeders expected to generate demand for at least 50,000 trained solar technicians. To prepare youth for emerging industries, the state is partnering with the Tata Group and Ratan Tata Maharashtra State Skills University to provide training ranging from basic skills to advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Quantum. More skill centres will be established across Maharashtra to support continuous upskilling. Approval has also been granted to establish a state-of-the-art Skill University in Nagpur. The university will feature specialised schools in collaboration with leading corporates and expert institutions, ensuring students graduate with industry-ready skills and placement opportunities. With Nagpur and Vidarbha emerging as hubs for solar modules, EVs, coal gasification, carbon capture and steel manufacturing, the focus remains on creating a skilled local workforce. Maharashtra currently operates around 2500 Skill Development Centres, training nearly 4 lakh youth. According to the Skill India report, 75% of trainees have secured employment, with the target of increasing this to 90%. To further strengthen skill development initiatives, presided over the signing and exchange of an MoU between the Association of Industrial Development (AID) and the National Academy of Defence Production (NADP), Nagpur. This partnership will foster stronger industry-academia collaboration, promote innovation and experiential learning, support the MSME and vendor ecosystem, and develop a future-ready talent pool for the defence manufacturing sector. Infrastructure, Investment, and Water Conservation – Maharashtra on the Rise!✨ It was an overwhelming moment to be at 'TiEcon Mumbai 2025: India’s Leading Entrepreneurial Leadership Summit' in Mumbai, today. Humbled to receive the 'TiE Mumbai Hall of Fame' award at the hands of the legendary, Infosys founder Narayana Murthy ji. This award is a proud recognition of the governance model we embarked on in 2014 under the visionary leadership of our Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji. Receiving this award today is not just an honour but a realization that our efforts are making a real difference and that we are on the right path together. All these transformative infrastructure projects in Maharashtra, especially in Mumbai and MMR—be it the Coastal Road, Atal Setu, Metro Network, or the Vadhavan Project—have become a reality because of our governance, which turned aspirations into achievements. Every project has been backed by thorough study and dedicated efforts, and under the visionary leadership of Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji, we have worked relentlessly to make them happen. Today, these ongoing projects are set to boost the State’s growth significantly. The 4th Mumbai will be created in the area of Vadhavan which will emerge as a dynamic new city, driving massive GDP growth and creating a thriving business ecosystem. In just 5 years, we planned and initiated 372 Km of metro, out of which 150 Km is now delivered. With each passing year, we will continue expanding and delivering more, ensuring a stronger and more connected Maharashtra. Being recognized for water conservation is a significant achievement. In 2014, 14 schemes were executed by 6 different departments. We streamlined them into one scheme, one leader, and one department, launching the ambitious 'Jalyukt Shivar' initiative. Our goal was to make 25,000 villages drought-free, and the Marathwada region saw a significant rise in water levels. In the 2020 Government of India's Groundwater Report, Maharashtra was the only state to show improvement compared to others. This award also recognizes investments, and once again, Maharashtra has become the top destination for FDI. This year, we have broken all previous records—surpassing our own ₹31,000 crore investment milestone from 2016-17. In just 9 months, we have secured ₹1.39 lakh crore in investments, with 50% of the country's FDI flowing into Maharashtra. Today, Maharashtra stands as the new startup capital of India. We are dedicated to reviving Mumbai’s glory and propelling Maharashtra to unmatched greatness! On this occasion, the Founding President of TiE Mumbai Harish Mehta, Uday Mohan, TiE Mumbai President Ranu Vohra and other dignitaries were present. A video of Youtuber Dhruv Rathee (Dhruv Rathee ) has been circulating today. It questions the promises of freebies by the same 6 parties that have governed Maharashtra over the last 5 years. We at Maharashtra Navnirman Sena stand apart. Maharashtra needs responsible leadership that doesn't merely promise freebies but instead builds a foundation for a brighter, sustainable future. The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena is dedicated to long-term, impactful solutions. Our newly unveiled manifesto is grounded in a detailed development blueprint aimed at transforming Maharashtra. Other parties have mentioned what they will give(for free) and we have mentioned 'HOW' we will deliver what we are promising. Unlike the six parties that have governed the state in turns over the last five years, we’re committed to enduring change: Empowering Our Farmers – Introducing sustainable agricultural practices to ensure better yields, fair incomes, and lasting prosperity for Maharashtra’s backbone. Opportunities for Every Maharashtrian – Committing to create meaningful employment opportunities for Maharashtra’s youth and workforce. Water Security for All – Scaling up rainwater harvesting and water conservation projects to secure reliable water resources, especially in rural and drought-prone areas. Building Future-Ready Education – Transforming our education system to equip the youth with essential skills, empowering them for global opportunities. Accessible Healthcare Network – Expanding quality healthcare services across Maharashtra to ensure that every citizen has access to affordable, reliable healthcare. Environmental Resilience – Enacting policies that protect Maharashtra’s natural resources, reduce pollution, and ensure a cleaner, healthier environment for generations to come. Safe and Secure Communities – Strengthening law enforcement and public safety initiatives to make Maharashtra a secure place for all its residents. Boosting Local Business – Supporting MSMEs to drive the economy forward, fostering innovation, job creation, and economic stability. Our focus is on building a Maharashtra that is self-reliant, prosperous, and resilient. We believe that our blueprint aligns with the true essence of Swarajya- a Maharashtra that thrives on lasting, people-centric progress. Join us in this mission to realize a stronger and better Maharashtra! #MaharashtraElections #BlueprintForProgress #LongTermSolutions

#WATCH | Mumbai: On SP chief Akhilesh Yadav's tweet on Marathi language directive for auto, taxi and cab drivers in Maharashtra and protest by auto drivers, Maharashtra Minister Pratap Baburao Sarnaik says, "All I would like to tell Akhilesh Yadav is that he should think about Uttar Pradesh elections and not Maharashtra politics. Maharashtra is a state which is always mindful of culture and honour. For the past several years, North Indian people did not get employment opportunities, due to which Maharashtra has been providing livelihood to North Indians for the last 40-50 years. Mahayuti Govt is a govt which provides employment, and does not snatch it away. You are a former CM of Uttar Pradesh, your father was a also a CM of Uttar Pradesh. You could not generate employment during your tenure, so these people came to Maharashtra and we accepted them. We supported them like our brothers...Don't make this an election agenda in UP by politicising this...At 180 locations in the state, we have appointed 1600-1800 teachers (to teach Marathi). All we are saying is that have a convsersation in Marathi with passengers, upholding Marathi pride. You will be given 1-month time and 3-month time later. If you are still unable to learn Marathi, your badge will be cancelled. Because this is Maharashtra. The state knows how to provide livelihood, but it is the responsibility of every Indian to respect Maharashtra's pride and culture..."

The invaluable contribution of the late Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley ji in shaping this landmark reform will always be remembered. Another moment in this transformational journey has been the establishment of the GST Council, one of the most significant pillars of the GST framework and a true example of cooperative federalism, where the Centre and the States collectively take consensus-based decisions.
