I was really not a fan of previous iterations, but rented a new Y last weekend and was blown away at the progress on FSD. Used it for the majority of 200 miles all over Seattle area and it only really screwed up once. Unreal.

I’m out and about, my car driving me 100%, and I look around. Nobody has any idea that it’s even happening. They certainly have no idea how good it is. I guess the algorithm doesn’t show me the posts from the people who believe it’s not real.

Agreed. My side hustle is Amazon Flex and I deliver 30-40 addresses in a few hours. FSD does most of the driving without issue. Then I read how Bob thinks it sucks because he tried it once. 😂

I spent over 4 hours driving today on Tesla FSD, and even though I’ve had so much experience with it, I’m constantly amazed by it. People will never understand how transformative it is until they experience it firsthand. It removes all anxiety and road rage. My car drove me over 115 miles today. It parked, navigated downtown with pedestrians and traffic everywhere, then drove me home without me ever touching the steering wheel or pedals, all with just a push of a button. This is the future. Those who experience FSD daily understand. You can never live without it. Your whole perception of what a car is will change completely. I grew up loving all types of cars and still do. But FSD has completely rewired my brain. This is what I enjoy now, it gives me freedom and allows me to relax because I know it’s safer than I could ever be. Only Tesla offers this experience.

I don’t deny my white privilege. I wake up every morning with it, and tuck it into bed with me every night. But I see the injustice of this world, and it burns me with the heat of a thousand suns. Blacks wishing death on my kids in my inbox. There’s only so many times you can be shown that you are hated before you finally hate back. And of course, it’s not all black people. $1.50 lunch. Half a kielbasa with butter. Is this the “cleanest” meal I’ll ever eat? No. And I don’t care. You guys see me eat ground beef, chuck roast, and eggs all the time. That’s my main staple. But this past week I had $50 for groceries and I had to make it work. This kielbasa jumped out at me, I wanted to eat it, and it fit the budget. Now I already know the purists are warming up their keyboards. “But the additives!” “But the processing!” Save it. Do I eat this every single meal every single day? Absolutely not. But there are weeks where the budget is tight and you make the best choice you can with what you have. And a kielbasa with butter is a hell of a lot better than pulling through a McDonald’s drive thru or grabbing a bag of chips because you convinced yourself you can’t “afford” to eat this way. I’m still getting fat. I’m still getting protein. I’m still getting nutrition. And I’m still staying on plan for a dollar fifty. Progress beats purity. Every single time. This is not a lifestyle for the privileged. This is for the people stretching every dollar and still choosing to feed their body real food. Even if it’s not perfect. Even if someone on the internet doesn’t approve. Eat the kielbasa. Add the butter. Keep going. 🔥

Alright let’s talk about rhythm shooting Here is a sequence of me interchanging between shooting with the button and shooting with the stick. I am showing you this so that you know I know how to time my damn shot. I’ve also posted plenty of videos and you can see I’m shooting with the button in all of them. Up until yesterday I pretty much shot exclusively with the button at about 70% from 3pt. But now shooting with the stick I am shooting ever so slightly better. The only advantage I feel like rhythm shooting has over button is when no dip / quick catch shooting. Which is important don’t get me wrong. But I just don’t understand the outrage people have over this shooting mechanic. People that are good at the game can shoot 70+ with either button or the stick so who cares?

in summary, drawing is a journey! I also struggled on this piece and i will continue to struggle and that is okay. I think the frieren they drew is beautiful. You can tell there's attention to detail. They understood there was foreshortening and the face had to stay aligned! Anime drawing is quite difficult, because the style simplifies a lot. The shading tends to stay with the nose and neck, so you some planes stay unshaded. You can also apply a soft gradient to show the dip of the cheeks. Because of this, I use a lot of references, from illustrations to animations to real life photos.
