We had a Patriarch of love, whose tireless preaching embodied it. Through his life, he became an example of how one can love all: one’s own and strangers, friends and enemies, the righteous and sinners. He accomplished the impossible - as a Christian, he fulfilled the law of Christ; as a monk, he kept his vows; as a Patriarch, he bore the heaviest cross of his nation.
