GaVS: 3D-Grounded Video Stabilization via Temporally-Consistent Local Reconstruction and Rendering Contributions: • We reformulate video stabilization as a novel 3D grounded scheme of local reconstruction and rendering. This approach is naturally robust to diverse camera motions and scene dynamics, is temporally consistent, and is capable of full frame stabilization. • We propose a novel test-time optimization for each unstable video. It leverages multi-view dynamics-aware photometric supervision and cross-frame regularization to achieve temporally consistent reconstructions. To avoid frame cropping, we introduce a scene extrapolation module based on video completion. • We provide a 3D-grounded dataset for our task by re-purposing an existing one, and introduce new metrics on sparse and dense reconstruction to evaluate 3D scene consistency. 4DGT: Learning a 4D Gaussian Transformer Using Real-World Monocular Videos Abstract: We propose 4DGT, a 4D Gaussian-based Transformer model for dynamic scene reconstruction, trained entirely on real-world monocular posed videos. Using 4D Gaussian as an inductive bias, 4DGT unifies static and dynamic components, enabling the modeling of complex, time-varying environments with varying object lifespans. We introduced a novel density control strategy in training, which allows our 4DGT to handle longer space-time input while maintaining efficient rendering at runtime. Our model processes 64 consecutive posed frames in a rolling-window fashion, predicting consistent 4D Gaussians in the scene. Unlike optimization-based methods, 4DGT performs purely feed-forward inference, reducing reconstruction time from hours to seconds and scaling effectively to long video sequences. Trained only on large-scale monocular posed video datasets, 4DGT can significantly outperform prior Gaussian-based networks in real-world videos and achieve on-par accuracy with optimization-based methods on cross-domain videos.

New short course: Build Long-Context AI Apps with Jamba. Learn about state space models (SSMs), which have emerged as an alternative to transformers! Specifically, Jamba is a hybrid transformer-Mamba architecture that combines strengths of the transformer with ideas from SSMs. This course is built with AI21 Labs and taught by Chen Wang and Chen Almagor. MAGS-SLAM: Monocular Multi-Agent Gaussian Splatting SLAM for Geometrically and Photometrically Consistent Reconstruction TL;DR: The first RGB-only multi-agent 3D Gaussian Splatting SLAM for collaborative photorealistic scene reconstruction. Contributions: (1) We propose the first monocular RGB-only multi-agent 3D Gaussian Splatting SLAM system. It integrates Gaussian front-ends, compact submap summaries, inter-agent verification, Sim(3) submap pose graph, and occupancy-aware fusion into a unified framework, achieving accurate tracking and photorealistic reconstruction without depth sensors. (2) We propose a Pose-Graph Bundle Adjustment (PGBA)-consistent Sim(3) loop closure mechanism for multi-agent systems, which jointly resolves intra- and inter-agent scale drift through a submap-level Sim(3) pose graph coupling geometric and photometric residuals. Robustness is ensured by a spatial-extent gate that rejects degenerate loops and an adaptive edge invalidation scheme consistent with evolving PGBA corrections. (3) We propose an occupancy-aware fusion framework for coherent multi-agent Gaussian maps. It combines occupancy-grid deduplication, decoupled coordinator, and joint pose-Gaussian photometric refinement to eliminate duplicated Gaussians, residual misalignment, and photometric seams across agents. (4) We introduce ReplicaMultiagent Plus dataset. While existing multi-agent datasets are typically limited to 2-3 agents with short trajectories, our dataset scales to 4 agents with long-horizon trajectories. In addition, we provide ground-truth geometry and semantic annotations, supporting the evaluation of monocular, RGB-D, and semantic multi-agent SLAM for collaborative dense reconstruction.

It combines occupancy-grid deduplication, decoupled coordinator, and joint pose-Gaussian photometric refinement to eliminate duplicated Gaussians, residual misalignment, and photometric seams across agents. While existing multi-agent datasets are typically limited to 2-3 agents with short trajectories, our dataset scales to 4 agents with long-horizon trajectories. Progressively Optimized Local Radiance Fields for Robust View Synthesis paper page: present an algorithm for reconstructing the radiance field of a large-scale scene from a single casually captured video. The task poses two core challenges. First, most existing radiance field reconstruction approaches rely on accurate pre-estimated camera poses from Structure-from-Motion algorithms, which frequently fail on in-the-wild videos. Second, using a single, global radiance field with finite representational capacity does not scale to longer trajectories in an unbounded scene. For handling unknown poses, we jointly estimate the camera poses with radiance field in a progressive manner. We show that progressive optimization significantly improves the robustness of the reconstruction. For handling large unbounded scenes, we dynamically allocate new local radiance fields trained with frames within a temporal window. This further improves robustness (e.g., performs well even under moderate pose drifts) and allows us to scale to large scenes. Our extensive evaluation on the Tanks and Temples dataset and our collected outdoor dataset, Static Hikes, show that our approach compares favorably with the state-of-the-art.

Meta announces Movie Gen A Cast of Media Foundation Models We present Movie Gen, a cast of foundation models that generates high-quality, 1080p HD videos with different aspect ratios and synchronized audio. We also show additional capabilities such as precise instruction-based video editing and generation of personalized videos based on a user’s image. Our models set a new state-of-the-art on multiple tasks: text-to-video synthesis, video personalization, video editing, video-to-audio generation, and text-to-audio generation. Our largest video generation model is a 30B parameter transformer trained with a maximum context length of 73K video tokens, corresponding to a generated video of 16 seconds at 16 frames-per-second. We show multiple technical innovations and simplifications on the architecture, latent spaces, training objectives and recipes, data curation, evaluation protocols, parallelization techniques, and inference optimizations that allow us to reap the benefits of scaling pre-training data, model size, and training compute for training large scale media generation models. Spatial reconstruction is a long-context problem: real scenes come with hundreds of images. But O(N²) transformer-based models don’t scale efficiently. Introducing: 🤐ZipMap (CVPR ’26): Linear-Time, Stateful 3D Reconstruction via Test-Time Training (TTT). ZipMap “zips” a large image collection into an implicit TTT scene state in a single linear-time operation. The state will then be decoded into spatial outputs, and can be queried efficiently for novel-view geometry and appearance (~100 FPS) ZipMap is not only much faster (>20× faster than VGGT), but also matches or surpasses the accuracy of all SOTA models.

DreamCraft3D: Hierarchical 3D Generation with Bootstrapped Diffusion Prior paper page: present DreamCraft3D, a hierarchical 3D content generation method that produces high-fidelity and coherent 3D objects. We tackle the problem by leveraging a 2D reference image to guide the stages of geometry sculpting and texture boosting. A central focus of this work is to address the consistency issue that existing works encounter. To sculpt geometries that render coherently, we perform score distillation sampling via a view-dependent diffusion model. This 3D prior, alongside several training strategies, prioritizes the geometry consistency but compromises the texture fidelity. We further propose Bootstrapped Score Distillation to specifically boost the texture. We train a personalized diffusion model, Dreambooth, on the augmented renderings of the scene, imbuing it with 3D knowledge of the scene being optimized. The score distillation from this 3D-aware diffusion prior provides view-consistent guidance for the scene. Notably, through an alternating optimization of the diffusion prior and 3D scene representation, we achieve mutually reinforcing improvements: the optimized 3D scene aids in training the scene-specific diffusion model, which offers increasingly view-consistent guidance for 3D optimization. The optimization is thus bootstrapped and leads to substantial texture boosting. With tailored 3D priors throughout the hierarchical generation, DreamCraft3D generates coherent 3D objects with photorealistic renderings, advancing the state-of-the-art in 3D content generation.
