Another massive new construction project underway at Giga Texas, this time on the very far W of the site across FM973 & near the Tesla Rd intersection. It looks like some of this is to move the rental equipment lot further away to allow a new graded area for a new construction project. What this is is still uncertain, but I do know changes in plans & permits have been underway as the entire Giga Texas site is seeing wide scale massive construction projects that are literally transforming what the overall campus visually looks like. Giga Texas News! A brand-new, stand-alone factory is starting construction! This follows the Shareholders meeting & info that a 10-million-per-year Tesla Optimus production facility "on the Giga Texas campus" will be built & enter into production in 2027! Here are some details! Land clearing on the E side, River Road expansion & several construction projects are already underway! In addition, the Giga Texas Riverfront Ecological Park project is proceeding along the same time frame & when completed, will allow public access to new sports parks, trails, water access & nature areas. We will see all of this throughout 2026 as Tesla prepares for the start of production in 2027!

Breaking news from Giga Texas! A large group of Refreshed Launch edition Model Ys at the outbound lot today! Exciting as reservation holders are being told to prepare for delivery soon! Also, a very interesting highly camouflaged Model Y including the interior! This is a new development and the 1st time I’ve seen anything like this at Giga Texas … what do you think this is?

Construction in multiple locations continues at Giga Texas today as the test track takes shape & features really begin to emerge (might be a great place to demo the new Roadster 🤔🤠). On the E side, the site clearing for the new Advanced Technology Fab is underway, with more demo of old structures, material movement & River Rd extension next to where the Riverpark will be constructed next to the Colorado River. On the far N side, more grade work is underway today, now encompassing almost all of the large rectangular field. Check out these short views today & look for much more in my main video later today!

Big news at the new Optimus 10m/y factory construction site today! The 1st steel structure has been erected & as expected the second phase of land reclamation is underway. This will allow this new factory to grow to nearly the same length as the main Giga Texas factory, although it will be a few hundred feet (~50 - 70 m) narrower. If you did not realize the massive size of this new factory, this should tell you all you need to know! A lot of steel beams & columns were being delivered to the site today and using the new staging yard in the nearby “lone tree” field. Check out this short clip showing the expansion, the steel structure & more of the foundation work!

Surprise! It looks like despite the production pause at Giga Texas this week & most of next week for Model Y line upgrades, maintenance & more, Cybertruck production is actually picking up … a good deal in fact. I believe this is the beginning of getting the production line ramped up to be able to begin filling the massive number of orders Tesla received with the $59,990 10-day promotional offer, with deliveries set to begin as early as June. The number of orders for the “Standard” AWD Cybertruck, along with the Premium AWD & Cyberbeast is going to keep Giga Texas busy for at least a year and a half just to meet the orders already placed! Wow!
