Google Search Console is GOLD for "SEO tracking". It's free. It tracks data daily. And there's endless insights. Unfortunately, most don't even know it exists. Let's put a stop to the madness. Here's my SOP for it:

1. Log into Google Search Console. - If you don't have an account set up yet, do it in 30 mins. It's super easy. - If you do, simply log in to get access to all of your GSC data.

2. Go to "Search Results" - Analyze past 28 days, 3 mo's, 6 mo's, 1 year. - Compare to previous periods & analyze trends. - Browse top "Queries", sort by Impressions & Clicks. - Look at "Pages" that get most clicks & impressions. - Review top Countries and Device breakdown.

3. Go to "Indexing" section. - Analyze "Not indexed" pages & learn why. - Review "Sitemaps" & make sure Google crawled recently.

4. Go to "Experience" section - Make sure all pages are HTTPS - Read "Core Web Vitals" reports.

5. Go to "Links" section - Analyze top external & internal links. - Understand how links are happening.

You can do all of this in 30 minutes. And you should at least 1x per month. Keep a pulse on how your SEO is doing. Most important: Make TO DOs from analysis. Analysis on its own is useless. It needs action.
