Over the last decade I’ve helped several hundred families fight to get better support for their children. Right now the special education needs system is not working for too many children, too many parents and too many schools. The Government has tried to fix things but I fear that they have left parents with more questions than answers. Their changes will leave young people to the lottery of the system and place too much burden on teachers. We need to focus on real support for those who need it and start asking why the number of children with special education needs has increased so much in recent years.

I wonder how many dreams were crushed and how many futures obliterated. A right of a child to education annihilated and instead they have to spend their days salvaging food, and finding things to sell to survive. Oh children of Gaza how we betrayed you.

Ontario's schools need more adults. We need more EAs and more educators in our schools to keep students safe and help them learn. Children in Grade 6 were in Kindergarten when the Ford government took office. EQAO scores are on their watch, and this government is failing our kids. That is why Ontario-Liberals are calling on the Ford government to invest $1 billion in new education funding so boards can hire the staff students rely on every day. Students should not have to pay the price for underfunding. It is time to give them the support they deserve.

I was at Jacaranda jana in my The 6th-H.E Edwin Sifuna branding, and guys, the political dynamics were very different. Their biggest concern was seeing Hon Babu & H.E Orengo accommodated in party leadership positions. I read the mood and had to adjust accordingly.- Mimi nayo hakuna ground no matter how hostile sitawahi fika! But honestly, their concerns are genuine and cannot be ignored. It was very real to them. They cannot understand how they cannot have party leadership, just as we cannot understand how H.E. cannot be both party leader and presidential candidate. It was eye-opening to see things from their POV. But one thing remained constant: they all want ONE PARTY. Our leaders must sit down and agree. I have read widely on how co-leadership can be accommodated within a party, including models where the Presidential Candidate retains veto powers on other party leadership positions. Germany and Wales have examples worth studying. We must adopt what works for us. As Prof Kivutha Kibwana said in our X Space jana, we would have let down a whole generation, Kenyans, aspirants and our support base if we disintegrate into many parties within LM. - I stand with this. If we cannot agree on something as simple as ONE PARTY, guys… some of us will wash our hands and quietly return to the corporate world. Roho safi tu. I still believe in my ideal world where everyone can co-exist because we share the same values & principles. He said that for Kenyans to elect the right leaders, the Kenyan voter must first change how they vote. We must ask the hard questions. We must scrutinize those seeking public office. We must vote based on integrity, competence, and values, not empty promises. That is why we do not expect the journey towards the Sifuna Presidency to be easy. If you say that mass immigration has increased crime in Ireland you will be criticized and told that there is no data available to support this claim, yet the government have all the data in relation to the nationality of employment, nationality of our education system, births rates etc. why not collect data in relation to imported crime?
