Every big dream starts small, so they say. For me, it was the small printing jobs here and there, the late nights, and a heart that refused to give up. I knew where I wanted to go, even when the road looked blurry. I kept saying it: one day, I’ll own one of the biggest print factories in Africa. Now, fast forward to earlier this year. My partner says, “Hey, there’s this property… might be perfect for your factory.” At first, I smiled. But the day I walked in, the air felt different. My gut screamed, this is it. No doubts, no second-guessing. So we locked it down, rolled up our sleeves, and started building. Piece by piece, a mini factory came alive. Machines clicking, papers rolling, and a dream finally standing on its own feet. This isn’t the finish line. This is the baby step. The kind of step that tells you, yes, this dream is real. And if you’re watching this, let me tell you something: your dream is not crazy. It doesn’t matter how far it looks, or how heavy it feels. As we all know, most LE shootings show less than optimal accuracy and tactics which is somewhat understandable as it's a very small part of their day to day job. That said, this engagement by these El Paso officers has well below average accuracy & tactics wise. The suspect was eventually shot and killed but lord knows where all those other rounds went 👀 It also appears the female officer goes to slide lock then gets shot as the suspect flanked her before she could return fire. Her male partner wasn't covering her when that happened allowing the suspect to maneuver on her with no opposition. Also, I don't think her nails did her any favor in running the gun here. I think this might be the best display I’ve ever seen of an Osprey air-surfing on the back of a fish. It’s nesting season, and when a male lands a big one, he doesn’t just bring it home quietly. Oh no! He makes an entrance. He climbs high into the sky, fish clutched tightly in his razor sharp talons and the performance begins. He drops low, arcs upward, pauses mid-air, and lets out a cry that echoes across the water. “Look at this catch! Look what I brought home!” It’s pride. It’s pageantry. It’s love, duty, and a bit of bragging… all rolled into one. His mate watches from the nest, calm but clearly impressed. The other males? They try not to look. But they see. They always see. “Here comes Bob again,” they grumble. “Always with the biggest fish.” The females nearby? Every single one of them eyes Bob and his impressive aerial display. How can they not? He’s the perfect Osprey package. This clip captures the final moments of his aerial display and you can tell: this bird isn’t just feeding his family. And me as a child went away and then I developed this personality that said, "Yeah, I'll do it. I don't care." And then I cut the cat's head off."
